Would a similar connection using a 12v lantern battery and a car charger work? Would directly wiring up a cut off usbc charger cord to the other end of a small 6 volt work or is the car charger adapter needed for the small 6 volt as well? Galaxy A14 5G

almost all of them can be used in 12v cars or 24v lorrys so will work fine up to 27 volts just don't use a super cheap one. and check the label to be sure.

Sorry for the 2nd question I meant a small 9V.
the usb car charger will convert 9 to 24volts to a 5v USB charger a small 9v won't last long but it should work.

do what i did in the video but use a 9v battery instead of the drill battery @tonyg.9710
How did you know the voltage range the charger can handle? Didn't you overcook the charger with 18v?? Other than that: excellent idea 😊🍀👍
