Yes I know. I felt like it was unfair because (I'm sure), many of the players who were romancing Lae'zel's would want to fight Vlaakith with her, whether they are a Githyanki or not.
@@TjoaJunChoi Yeah but the Githyanki society is racist af. Your presence as a non-Gith would be counter to your goals. It would be used by Vlaakith and her inquisitors to sow distrust both in you but also in Orpheus and the entire movement. So Step 1) Free the racist society from their lich tyrant Step 2) Convince the free society that other races will make strong allies against the Mind Flayers Step 3) ??? Step 4) Collect underpants
What they should have done, for those who hate playing as a gith, was make an option where they let her go, but with: '... and I'm going with you.' followed by the usual persuasion check. You'd be the first non-gith who isn't a tourist.
That's so interesting, for my "good" ending she signed off with different dialogue. Didn't say the last couple of lines of yours and instead said "Talk of battle has set my heart beating. Back to bed, I have more tricks to show you.".

You can go with her to fight Vlaakith, but only if you're Gith yourself.

mhm! Imagine if it would be an exclusive 2 player bossfight! I would love it! We should recommend this to laurian!@@TjoaJunChoi

Agree. It's weird to see how we easily let her go alone
I can't bring myself to call the first ending the "bad ending"; it's still a really great conclusion to Lae'zel's arc.
The "bad ending" is not for Lae'zel. It's for us. Why can't we go fight with her 😭
That's so interesting, for my "good" ending she signed off with different dialogue.

Maybe its because you choose options two?
@@TjoaJunChoi No, oddly enough I chose the same dialogue options as you! :)
@@Praetorian349 Interesting. Is this after the patch 5?
Before and after, I’ve watched it both ways. :P
damn, first ending goes so hard.
You can actually convince her to stay even if you don't romance her.
But you need a perfect 20 dice roll.
Are you ready for the battles to come?
me: looking at her sixpack*
me: maybe.
Who became the Illithid?
Looks like Karlach for this fellow's playthrough.
@@Praetorian349 Yes that's right, in my playthrough Karlach become the illithid
@@Praetorian349
You can also let Gale sacrifice himself and no one has to become a mindflayer.
@@DocRealTalk haha, yeah, I posted a video walkthrough for that very thing. :P
