A lot of these happen even if you don’t romance him. But not Minthara calling us ‘ghastly’ and then making moves on my Seldarine Drow and when I said I’m with Gale she’s like ‘well now you can be with me’. No girl, I worked hard to have this relationship and not have himself blow up
Which ones exactly? All these lines are banter which is fixed in Patch 7, some may not be aware of romancing Gale in Act I? Also there are other issues after they fixed it , maybe it's kind of 'overfixed' and is triggered by chance sometimes. However, the sense of these lines is still about romancing Gale

That happens if you choose certain dialogue with Elminster), the 'do you have elder siblings wizard?" is another. had it happen even when I romanced Astarion, 'How's the orb treating you?', is also random party banter (sorry, I lost track of numbers around here 😅) 'You laid with a goddess?' also happens a lot with me when romancing Astarion. But like you said it might be triggered by randomness sometimes, most of these are still when romancing Gale. My favorites are his hypothetical to Karlach, when Lae'zel says he mumbles in his sleep and when he goes 'I found love'. Just finished a Gale romance recently and I absolutely adored it, but it was so tooth rotting that I needed to have another DurgexAstarion.
@@celestebigaignon6054 I read now bg3 wiki says the Minthara/Gale banter is indeed not a romanced one (however in my case I could trigger it only while romancing him and there's no description how to trigger). All others (including Karlach ones) are recognized there as romance banter too, so I'll go with a bug if they trigger otherwise sometimes^^
@@sinviel I feel some of them are still a bit buggy too. I had Wyll offer to babysit my character and Shadowheart's possible werewolf cubs, even though my character is with Gale and hadn't even had friendly wine with Shart.
All of that is hilarious 😂 i think I will start my new playthrough romancing Gale. If only I knew how to trigger banters - for me they are totally randomly
Some of them are based on your current location, but the romance dialogues can happen anywhere. It's random, just takes time. (You also have to be zoomed in enough to hear them.) I feel like in Act 1 it's much easier than in Acts 2 & 3... in Act 1 I feel like I get banter every 2 minutes.
@b.lightyear3455 in act 3 I know only one place where I can 100% get a banter - to the left of Oscar's fiancee's house, in the mini garden. And I had one either after defeating Raphael and leaving Devil's fee. But the last one I also got in some other place when I was trying to check smth... But I often missed some banters since I was pointing the way and was checking it far from my team. Yet I remember one brilliant banter between SH and Halsin, when he was talking about her bleating. Well, I'll be more attentive to these things in my next playthrough.

I romanced Gale and had him in my party through two playthroughs and not a single of these dialogues appeared.
These were bugged and now are fixed with Patch 7^^
