It’s a well-known lie that is so predictable that we could just tell them to go home, you’re drunk.
I think it's such a well-known playground tall tale that PETA knows what it is and they knew what they were doing and included it ironically. It kind of makes the responses to them pretty weak if they aren't catching it.

Love the irony of that art with pikachu holding a sign reading "I support team plasma!". It's funny because PETA really is like the real world equivilant of team plasma. An organization claiming to be about animal rights that ultimately does more harm to the animals than anything.

@@MariOmor1 well, the situation was more that certain members were simply well intentioned people who had no idea what was going on in the background, which is sadly true for PETA as well. They have lots of supporters who would probably immediately pull out if they saw what the group does.

The steal dogs out of people's backyards and murder them. Because they don't believe animals should be 'owned'. The worst part is people give them money, thinking they are helping animals, which means actual organizations that help get overlooked.
They fight for animals and then they kill them.
I think I heard that they took animals from “abusive” homes and then turn around and kill them because either no room or no one else wants them except from the households they were taken from. If they ever come to my house and demanded my dogs, I’d grab my metal bat and blood will be shed

I'm sure that joke has been around for over 5 years. Nintendo isn't known for leaking information from their games, nor for hiding it. A lot of players tend to speculate things like new pokemons, the next Zelda release or what will be the next smash DLC and to please those players there's a lot of fake information around nintendo, oftentimes based on nonsense like an uncle working at the company. And that became a meme on the long run to parody those fake news tellers from gaming journalism and unreliable sources.

Yes, children definitely bully others because they play pokemon or other "domination" games and not because of parenting, environmental factors, bullies not being treated as criminals, or bullying not being taken seriously by the institution or the law.
This is like asking an 8 year old on how to solve a global problem, except that the 8 year old would probably give a better answer that's not "this monster fighting game is teaching slavery and domination to children".

Funniest is in the sequel to the Pokemon parody shown in this video, they legit make a joke about Ghetsis actually being evil and the ending of Black and White.. so they somehow were slightly aware and still didn't see the irony
the average rate that peta "shelters" adopt off pets is about 12%. all the others get executed. "shelter" is a bit of a misleading term for the peta facilities.

It'd make sense for wild animals, rare creatures and humanoids like Mime or Jinx, but not the others. They still miss the point. Plus, again, they kill a lot of animals... They realize they're literally putting their "cruelty free" chicken in a fight club, right?
I take care of multiple kittens and dogs, many of which i found when they were abandoned. I raise ducks and let them wander on a natural and safe source of water and i feed them multiple times a day. I raise chickens in a large place of their own. I eat meat and eggs daily, which most of is sourced from the things i grew on my own or from shops which i know did the same as i do.
According to peta, i am worse than hitler and the people that torture elephants in cages.
They want their character called not a chicken nugget added to a game where several characters have attacks that involve eating the enemy.
Remember when Edmund made Super Tofu Boy cannon? That was the greatest come back since the resurrection of Christ.

Man, I love this. Seeing the “not a nugget” chicken eating the roasted chicken food item while murdering a wrestling cat, a literal dog and duck, and some other miscellaneous animals would be the best form of irony and would make my day.

Tbf, and I am in no way advocating for PETA by any means, but, a few breeds like the pug should go extinct, not in the way of "let's kill them rn" type, but we should stop breeding them. Inbreeding and selective breeding have fricked them over so bad because we decided they were 'cute' which made them have horrible physical side effects like breathing problems, their entire existence is suffering yet people think their snort-breathing is 'cute'.

@@AzureKyle Yup, that's just wrong, pitbulls can be great lovable pets, never owned one but most of the time have seen them be nothing but great pets. Most of the time, aggressiveness in pets boils down to how they were raised or treated by their owners and that's just sad. I know of PETA's reputation and this is just awful, can't believe they can still be operating without consequences.
