Cad Bane, one of the most dangerous bounty hunters and assassins on the Star Wars franchise. Proceeds to get beaten to death by a handful of stormtroopers.
Just wanted to say that deflect activates when you spend a doge token, not at the cost of a dodge token. So Duku should have negated one of the dice shot at him and gained surge to defense. Don't think that it would have changed anything but thought I should mention it.
25:35 Standby tokens trigger before any keywords, so Cad could not fire right off steady before the imperials. 32:10 Yes, they can leave. Withdraw does nor require 2 actions. The wording is that it requires all your actions. So if you only have one you can still do it.
@@kefkabal9614 No, you are wrong…. As of rulebook 2.5.4 updated 1.19.24 under «standby» : a standby token is spent before any effects that trigger after an action, attack action, move or move action….» Page 33. You should look it up before throwing out statements.
@@Thebluefox815 @Thebluefox815 I said the LATTER, so that means I'm commenting on your second comment about the withdrawal move. Page 26 - WITHDRAW An engaged unit may leave melee during its activation by withdrawing. To withdraw, a unit must spend ALL its available actions and can perform no other actions that activation. Then it performs a speed-1 move action, ignoring any units it is in melee with. A unit with a maximum speed of 0 cannot withdraw. A unit cannot end a withdraw move action in melee. More Legion, please! I think this is a good game that is a nice alternative to your usual enjoyable fare. No - not alternative, SUPPLEMENT to your usual fare. 🙂
One note, on the first turn “An Entire Legion” would not have given an order to Bossk, since mercenary units cannot be ordered except by themselves or a unit of the same affiliation. This would have made no difference as Bossk would have been the only order left in your pool, but it’s good to keep in mind. Love seeing legion on the channels, and hope to see more!
Cad Bane Here I Am token can only be revealed if an enemy unit moves, deploys or is placed in range one of it or it can be revealed at the start of a command phase, so he shouldn't have appeared at the end of battle round 1 there.
Definitely need more SW Legion, it's picking up more and more steam lately which is great. Should maybe get some Bolt Action under the belt to get a better feel for this.
Love your stuff :) very into Legion at the moment so this is even more interesting to me atm :D 37:54 When damage is deflected back you don't roll to defend, you just take the wound... it's really good (like Force Choke's wound) Also, never apologise for errors. everyone has to start somewhere :) just hope you enjoy the game :D
So I watch your video here and I noticed your buddies wearing a Mohawk shirt is that for Mohawk College of Hamilton if you’re ever looking for new players I’m interesting

Please keep up the Star Wars Legion content!
Never leave your commander open in the middle of the field. Poor Dooku
Sweet, Josh is playing Legion too! Love love love this game.

Incorrect on the latter. RAW states to spend all available actions and can spend no other actions that activation

Yes but why….? My comment is correct. They don’t need to have 2 actions to withdraw, they just have to spend all availeble 😅
@@kefkabal9614
So to spell it out, if you have only one action to start with due to suppression, you CAN still withdraw from a melee.
Great game, please so more!
Stormtroopers surge to hit ;)
I think we figured it out near the end
@@mwgjosh5161 In time to make a pretty critical, goofy play no less!
100% should have had the opening ramble in the Star Wars written intro style moving away font.
Also- no beer can terrain?

I am loving these legion battle reports. More!!

You can reveal him at the start of a round as well - but yes, the reveal was a little off!
Sad to see the IRG underperform, they're really cool in the lore but are finicky in the game.
Great battle report, hope you both enjoyed playing!
More Legion More Legion More Legion!!!!!!!

It actually makes sense that Dooku got lit up--his lightsaber form is really good for dueling but really bad when it comes to blaster deflection.

Precise allows you to reroll 1 extra dice when you spend an Aim Token, I saw no aim token @19:50
Where did you get those (Tusken?) huts? Love the look of them on the board!
Shield tokens on the Droidekas?
More Legion please!!
You used bossk's hunter upgarde wrong it gives an aim not an extra red dice and hunter only works on trooper units droidekas are ground vehicals.
Yup messed that up
Yes more LEGION!
Stormtroopers beating the crap out of Cad Bane is so satisfying...
Can confirm it felt that way as it was happening
