- Not everything can be loved by everyone!! Each game or game franchise has entries, that’s loved by some & hated by some!! Sometimes, the needle may tilt more towards one side, but nothing & I repeat Nothing Is loved by all!!! It’s simply not possible!! And each person has a different perspective or outlook on things, which is perfectly understandable!! And with all that being said, let’s talk about today’s topic!! One question that is probably the most polarizing to have ever come out of the Franchise!! The question whether Odyssey & Valhalla really belong in the Assassin’s Creed Series?? And we find the answer in this video!!

They definitely should have made a new IP for these games or something.. They definitely ruined the series for the older fans.. Lets hope the so rumored AC rift returns to the basics!

You know I hear people say if Ubisoft knew that people would buy games in name of Prince of Persia, Assassin's Creed would never have existed just like how AC is continuing still distant from what it was instead of new IP.. What's your thoughts on that?

Yes, one is the keeper/brotherhood grandma, without her the brotherhood doesn’t exist. The other one is the Isu/Sage Odin, without Odin the Isu would be completely extinct.

Odyssey literally was the reason my childhood wish got shattered. When i was a kid i liked ac so much that i was wishing for an game taking place in greece with greek protagonists, historical figures, etc.
And when odyssey released and after seeing everything this game had to offer, it was so bad as an ac game, and also they put things in the game i hoped i never see, like that plebian word 'malaka'. I was so pissed and sad that for a short period i was lieing to myself that this game was good.
Yh and then the gender choices in the last 2... honestly what is the point in player choice, if ubisoft are gonna insist on only females as canon? Talk about an immature company. Either respect player choice both games, and never tell us who the "eagle bearer" or the "wolf kissed" were, or kassandra for odyssey, and male eivor for valhalla. Seeing as the female eivor is so damn awful. Literally everything about what ubisoft has become is painful and pathetic.
And yes, I really wanted a ancient Greece assassin's creed. Was one of my dreams aswell. But look at what ubisoft have done now. Origins is closer to what it should've been, and that games in Egypt. Bayek aswell, was a great protagonist. Unlike Aya or the eagle bearer, who were both self entitled, annoying and petty. Making them difficult to enjoy playing as at times, when compared to Bayek or eivor.
That makes 3 of us brothers 🥲🥲

It was a good step to getting things on the right track, but it isn't on the level of the older games. As well their already was a great foundation for a Norse Assassin, the story of Thorvald Hjaltason, an Icelandic skald and Assassin. It would be easier to adapt his story since it is mentioned in an existing novel, and it would let us see actual Norselands, and the complex conflicts that took place within them. In Thorvald's case, he was active in Sweden with the Swedish Brotherhood, and had many captivating adventures. As well there are some prime choices for DLCs like the Norse involvement in Iberia during its Islamic period, and the expeditions of Ingvar-the Far travelled, a famous Norse explorer whose travels among other things, lead his band to be involved in the Georgian Civil War which involved the Byzantine Empire. I feel the Thorvald game could have been a great successor to Black Flag. We should have gotten a Norse style Black Flag experience in Valhalla, and Thorvald being a skald would be suited to it since many skalds were also explorers(and that exploratory essence would pair well with the aforementioned Ingvar expeditions). And he could build a dart weapon within a flute. You could use it for lethality, or instead of the typical whistle, you could play a tune to lure in your targets before stealthily taking them out. So it'd be quite a versatile tool. As well, it'd be great for social stealth. Overall the flute would function kind of like the social system of Liberation, merged with the bard disguise of Ezios in Revelations in that one mission. I know Ubisoft isn't keen on staying in the same location anymore, nore giving their characters sequels.. but I do believe a Norse game should be given a second chance with a follow-up. The building blocks are there already, they just have to craft it properly.

They do not simple you could blame this on rpg era but orgins was still pretty good yea not top tier but over all solid game I can not say the same for odyssey or vahilla

One major gripe I have in Origins is that you play as a hidden one in DLC! I mean shouldnt that be the whole point of Origins?

They certainly belong in the assassins creed series. They are a proto assassin brotherhood and we get to see the birth of the proto templars, which is interesting. I love being able to be less sneaky on the easier levels and if I want o be sneaky I’ll just play on a higher difficulty. I do however think it’s time we got to have a bigger brotherhood and get to interact with them and do missions for them. I love the isu lore and I want more of that too
Odyssey is loved by many and I do acknowledge how Odyssey & Valhalla are spectacles in their own right & If u like it, more power to u Olivia 🙌🏻🙌🏻😊

I love Odyssey. I rather don't like Valhalla that much. I do like the idea of Alexios being a precursor to the Assassins. I'm pretty sure most have heard about the theory that Far Cry, Assassin's Creed, and Watchdogs are all connected. If this is the case, a precursor to Alexios would Takkar from Far Cry Primal which was also a great game. Overall, Odyssey and Valhalla are great and good games. They do have bits and pieces of AC but not defining characteristics of AC. Origins is still the best game after the Ezio Trilogy. I love Odyssey but hate Valhalla in many ways. Overall, I am ready for a return to form for the franchise but I would like an Aztec Assassin's Creed game and one with Takkar getting a bone hidden blade😂. Love the video.

Tbh when it comes down to it they're both great games. They both add more to the assassin's creed universe in regards to isu lore and avors involvement with Connor. You can assume that all the mythical stuff is a part of the animus interacting with the characters understanding of them.

Demi gods Odyssey or Vikings Valhalla, if those were the titles, there is no problems.

BTW, one and half hour of AC15 celebration stream with zero AC stuff at all, Ubisoft simply spoke about Origins 60 fps patch, upcoming free dlc for Valhalla and comicbook based on Valhalla mythology... WTF!

@@VZXAssassin One of the main reason why I request you to make the video on if AC3 as end of the franchise. The franchise began as a destiny for Desmond Miles to stop the great catastrophe where in multiple games it was clearly hinted that Ezio and Altair was doing what they were doing for Desmond do the right thing when the time comes. Also, the point of bloodline was totally obliterated from Black Flag onwards.

Yeah they are not the typical Assassin's creed game. But lemme tell you my reason...They don't have the franchise I like the most. That is HIDDEN BLADE. Neither AC VALHALLA, nor AC Odyssey have them. In addition to these there is ROGUE ... so that there was no hidden blade. So I want to keep it out of this whole series. Overall ROGUE is a very good game ... whose story joins 4 different AC titles ...It could just be a DLC of a Black Flag ... because nothing has changed in game mechanics.

@@VZXAssassin Well pretty much yeah… 😅 no honestly, I’ve been thinking this through way too much but Vikings are known for open battles, yet Eivor decided to use mechanics from the Hidden Ones such as the hidden blade and the leap of faith alongside it. He learned the leap of faith and decided to do use it, he received the hidden blade and decided to do use it, but in the end still preferred open battle because he was born as a Viking. That’s how I see it and why I consider it as an AC game. And Basim of course. But I would also agree with Valhalla not being an AC game.

I'll say Valhalla and male eivor would have fit in with the rest of assassins creed perfectly fine. Sadly the angry sounding badly acted female eivor is "canon" which makes no sense as eivor is a sage of odin, and I'm pretty sure we never met a female Aita, or Basim. And the mythology also got in the way of Valhalla. Turth is odyssey and that terribly sexist character Kassandra, are poisonous. Kassandra is killing assassin's creed and she doesn't belong. Why we have to have canon breaking over powered women who act and are treated like men, is beyond me. Just make a female who isn't cringe and who makes sense next time, or go back to what your obviously better at. A male lead, in a grounded game. Sorry if this upsets you but it's true.

idk if you have actually played but Origins is a good game. It is completely different from Oddysey or valhalla. Sure it has some bad rpg mechanics like the awful leveling but the story is good. The stealth is fun and functional. Lastly it feels assassiny which i don't felt for Oddysey.
Me, personally, I lived jumping on trees part in AC3 & Unitys parkour is truly 🔥🔥
Origins does have the AC essence, but man its truly whr the fall began!! Its whr all the monsters were born!! Namely RPG mechanics & outright fantasy BS!!
