So I got this game a couple days ago and started playing it, with the bendy bus of course! 1hr in, I had moved 10 feet backwards, had an extremely annoying beeping noise, was jammed between two poles, and couldn't start the bus...
Just a couple of tips for the game. At traffic lights there are the normal light, but at some there is a special bus light which is usually represented by a white line, which means bus's can go. And when using the arrows to show the destination yellow just tells you which way places are and the orange is what you need to follow. If there is no orange it is straight on. Keep the videos coming love watching them!!! Happy Driving!!!
2:00 I just did the same route, I got stuck at the same intersection, only, I went left, which ended in a rage quit. I think you nailed it though, in future, if in doubt go straight
This is a new level of simulation, you're character is supposed to be a eastern European migrant who just arrived and doesn't speak a word of German, this stuff happens in real life you know. Its a simulation of a foreign bus driver working in Germany ;D
Basic rule in OMSI is that when you don't see a specific arrow, just don't change your direction and go straight, until you see something useful. On this map, you have to look for orange arrows.
Hi Squirrel, I'm a bus driver in Brisbane, Australia and everything that is annoying with the people and traffic in Omsi 2 happen everyday for me. Great Vids by the way.
Hahaha! Had the same problem when I first drove this route. I didn't know where I was going! I then realized that the arrows sometimes indicate to change lanes.
The passenger dialog U-Rahthaus: The old lady: "Einen normale Fahrschein bitte." (A standard fair please.) The man: "Ich habe eine Tageskarte." (I'd like a day pass.) Spekterweg: Woman: "Eine Tageskarte bitte." (A day pass please.) Man: "Einmal normal, bitte." (A standard please.) Westerwaldstrasse: Woman: "Ein Fahrschein bitte." (A ticket please.) Frankenwaldtstrasse: Girl: "Ein normal Fahrschein bitte." (A standard fair please.) Am Kiesteich: Man: "Einmale Kurtzstrecke." (A short ride.) Stadtrandstrasse: Man: "Eine Tageskarte bitte." (A day pass please.) Man: "Eine Tageskarte." (A day pass.) Man: "Eine Fahrkarte bitte." (A ticket please.)
mixmasterlandberg not everything is quite right, but overall very good translated. But your second Translation was completely wrong. Its not: Ich habe eine Tageskarte, wich would mean: I have got a day pass. In German it correctly would be: Ich möchte eine Tageskarte. Also there are some grammar failurs. For e.g. the Girl in the Frankenwaldstraße, it would be: Einen normalen Fahrschein bitte... But that are minor mistakes, and German is not an easy language, but well my English isnt perfect either....
I haven't really practiced my German for 10 years or so. A couple of mistakes where to be expected. For instance I couldn't remember the gender of Schein, but I guess it's der Schein from context. Which means it should be "Ein normaler Fahrschein bitte.", but I was going for what I was hearing rather than to rely on my abysmal grammar skills :P "Einmal" could be translated as "a single" as well. And "Kurtzstrecke" could be translated to "short-haul", but I couldn't find the word for it as I was typing. Anyway, my transcription is way better than Squirrels attempts at imitating the passengers, so there's always that I guess :P
mixmasterlandberg Didn't see your comment there AIRBUS, but yeah I thought that sentence was strange as well. I think I thought he meant to say "Ich habe gerne eine Tageskarte."
ok, if you want to know your current schedule, just have a look at the machine with some magenta buttons on top, there is a number at the far right of the display of that machine, it has a +/- symbol to notify you whether you are late or early, where + is late and vice versa, the large number beside the +/- is minutes and the smaller number is the decimal. E.g. at 0:56, it reads "you are freakin' late by 1.8 minutes"
Lovinatorka Pff, that's part of the charm, even if it bugs me as well (even with my very limited knowledge of German). Also, even if 'Nervenklinik' might be a tad informal, I'm pretty sure you'd want to say "psychiatric hospital" in English.
I see Paul's been to the James May school of sense of direction lol. seriously Paul great two video's your very entertaining driving this bus and all the things that happen around you. hope you return to this again and please could we have a journey in the snow that would look great.
The guy that sounds like "Mahna Mahna" actually says "Einmal Normal" what is translated to something like "One normal (ticket)" or "One standard (ticket)" and he doesn't explicitly say ticket. And the "milk-car" is actually the car of a veterinarian (needed to pause the video to see it ^^).
I'm a bus driver in real life, and honestly everything that happened to you in that game is what happens in real life, cars WILL never giver you right of way and you pretty much have to use the size of the bus to your advantage. As my trainer once said the word TAXI means IDIOT, well done though and you sir are lucky you were only 3 min behind, real life its usually 10 but every bus company I worked for would rather you be late then ahead of schedule.
I'm a Taxi driver and I always try to give way to buses I tend to drive a taxi van for 12 passengers so I'm larger then the other taxis so I know what its like to need extra room, saying that I don't trust half the drivers we have and most of them are idiots.
Ricco McPoo yea I drive a 55 passenger coach bus through Washington DC everyday, not sure where you live but it gets pretty ridiculous day in day out driving through the city. Sometimes I want to get out of the bus and strangle someone and ask them if they have ever driven a big bus through the city.
West midlands drivers suck aswell. Its like they are told to brake 5 meters from the station and apply 100 percent throttle from standing still. Almost fell over sometimes when I was new to the UK
good vid....thought it hilarious when that woman got stuck trying to get out haaaaaaaa 😊😂😂😂 Was surprised when i saw that lad get on. ..also when they said "murmumur" and you replied "tuturttter "" haaaaaaaaa !!!!!!!😁😁😁😁😁😁
I like this simulator. Though sometimes the route is really confusing. Especially on this route yeah. Shame there aren't many working on the game, cause it would be nice to see people getting dress on the weather. Bit weird to see people wearing summer clothes when its freezing outside..then complain your bus is too cold "YOU JUST WAITED IN YOUR SHORTS OUTSIDE!!!! SURELY MY BUS IS WARMER DAMN YOU!"
*Hello welcome to SQURRIEL buses its **7:00** feel free not to pay or randomly say something oh you've paid well done* *Hello welcome to SQURRIEL buses it's **7:01** and...*
Poor Paul, you just have bad luck with the AI. I will say this though: First time I did a full bus schedule (The whole 13N schedule) a lady stumbled into the street in the dead of night and got hit by me. Scared the living daylights outta me. You should try one of the night routes and see how that goes, either on UA-cam or on Stream.
Im pretty sure that the people who dont pay you have already got a ticket, or have a pass, and are validating their ticket, and when that man says (in your words) "enem enem ena" or is swearing, according to you is actually saying "Eine Fahrkarte, bitte"
You should not engage handbrake at redlights, you can run out on air pressure and you wont be able to drive off, it almost happend at the red light at the end :)
Yes, but to be fair to Paul, he was on this route for the first time. And this is not an easy route. It's confusing at some points. And he did a really good job, without knowing the route. For example, on my first trip on this route, I got lost at that double left orange arrow.
You should turn collisions off, Paul. It's a war, you can't win against the AI. I have given up a long time ago and I can fully enjoy this game since then.
Hey Squirrel, just wanted to ask you to make more spintires videos please, because i really enjoyed watching you play and want to tell you that you can now use you logitech q27 steering wheel and it is amazing. they really put the effort into making the mechanics for the steering wheel.
3:00 this s how they make you pay $14 for a minimap lol, Honestly the arrows are so incorrect sometimes its hilarious, it happened t me when i drove this route also, but i refuse to pay for a gps lol
Thank you Squirrel for yet another fantastic video of OMSI2. The last video thank you listening too my comments. There is nothing I say you could improve on, So well done on that note. Please as a favor Keep us Updated with Coach Simulator (SCS) certainly will be interested to know there progress. But well done on the whole looking forward to your next video!.
This is waaay more understandable the controls (even in German) than FSX or flight simulators IDK WAT ANYONE IS SAYING SOMETIMES thats why i love buses although my dream job is to be a pilot lol
Yes, thats correct, Berlin is simulated as in the 90´s in that game, so the cars are of course 90´s cars too. The Hamburg addon should simulate "today", which is why, in his first episode, more modern cars were built in...

+GhibliDisco look at the bottom left of the dashboard aka under the window and press that orange button.
+Tieasha Ingram Man fuck you spammers.
Raymond See AH thankyou maybe ill finally be able to play it!!!
GhibliDisco Just ignore the swears.
Btw the pillows is the windows.
And you're welcome.
Just a couple of tips for the game. At traffic lights there are the normal light, but at some there is a special bus light which is usually represented by a white line, which means bus's can go. Pretty good this! Shows that you can make good games even with bad graphics. Good graphics can not save a bad game though.
Game is perfect at what it’s intended to do
The graphics look pretty decent to me
2:00 I just did the same route, I got stuck at the same intersection, only, I went left, which ended in a rage quit. I think you nailed it though, in future, if in doubt go straight

hahahah :D
+adamrules01 lol so true
Bright lightning
Lightning thunder hahahahahahaha
Nervenklinik mean "Mental Hospital" in English. So beware, you might have some psycho on the bus ;) :D
LOL 😂
Fr

7:22 best part ever

Your german is pretty good - apart from a few minor grammar errors. But oh well.. better than most of the younger germans nowadays :p
mixmasterlandberg not everything is quite right, but overall very good translated. But your second Translation was completely wrong. Ah yes, "Einen normalen Fahrschein" because it's accusative right, well I blame 10 years of inactivity :P
"Hello, good morning. Your head is the wrong size for your body, but don't worry about that" lol
I love your bus video ⭐🌞🌟🌠🌈💧🌊
Thank you for the wonderful content Paul.
what a chaotic run and you completed it with just a few minutes late, nice work mate
LOL That guy a 7:12 was hilarious its like real life drivers hahahahahaha
ok, if you want to know your current schedule, just have a look at the machine with some magenta buttons on top, there is a number at the far right of the display of that machine, it has a +/- symbol to notify you whether you are late or early, where + is late and vice versa, the large number beside the +/- is minutes and the smaller number is the decimal. In Germany theres the rule, that when no new direction is given, just follow your road, so if theres no new sign (in orange) just keep your route....
bendy buses take me back to living in Swansea. The purple bendy bus from First that went from uni to town :D
Yep, everywhere in Swansea :p
Where you were instructed to turn left was your next bus stop. Then when you leave, you turn left and continue on like you did!
upload more OMSI 2 squirrel! you have skills, i follow you from argentina!
Lautaro Kayssner Nice, man :)
you're the best ! ;)
Not the only one from argentina, go squirrel!
Unfortunately the double orange arrows at around 3:30 are a bit of a glitch on the map. But you did fantastically well to "dodge those bullets".
The antaga party part at the beginning of this part made me laugh
Do more vidios on bus sim please OMSi

SwedishHouseFifa voedis
"Do more vidios on bus sim please OMSi" you mean do more OMSI videos squirrel XD
Nice job, Paul! And without knowing the route as well. Very well done!
when that annoying passenger casually walks through your bus like it's norm...lol !!😂😂😂
Welcome to Squirrel Bus service "Where the driver is rude and the insults are free!".
Your too much Squirrel...you make me laugh.
"Neverklinik". man its Nervenklinik. and its not a city it means "mental hospital"
okay , what do you want ? for him to go google it mid recording ?
Fregaropa Gaming no i want him to do basic research before videos.
Lovinatorka lmao
Lovinatorka Pff, that's part of the charm, even if it bugs me as well (even with my very limited knowledge of German). Also, even if 'Nervenklinik' might be a tad informal, I'm pretty sure you'd want to say "psychiatric hospital" in English.
So a "Colonelklink" is a hospital for colonels? Was Stalag 13 actually a medical facility for German officers?
I see Paul's been to the James May school of sense of direction lol.
seriously Paul great two video's your very entertaining driving this bus and all the things that happen around you.
hope you return to this again and please could we have a journey in the snow that would look great.
You should of said that in 2016
He quitted
I once waited for a bus in Poland for 35 mins. Compared with your times it's not that bad!
The guy that sounds like "Mahna Mahna" actually says "Einmal Normal" what is translated to something like "One normal (ticket)" or "One standard (ticket)" and he doesn't explicitly say ticket.

Haha i agree
West midlands drivers suck aswell. Its like they are told to brake 5 meters from the station and apply 100 percent throttle from standing still. Almost fell over sometimes when I was new to the UK

please do more of these they are really good
I have got to say that you don't get close to the curb at all so the passengers have to walk further.
OMSI 2 looks like a lot of fun despite the annoying AI.

Great Video! Please make these OMSI videos more.
At 25 you were supposed to go left into the bus stop that serves the railway station then back left onto the route
Im pretty sure that the people who dont pay you have already got a ticket, or have a pass, and are validating their ticket, and when that man says (in your words) "enem enem ena" or is swearing, according to you is actually saying "Eine Fahrkarte, bitte"
I drive this route every day with the same bus
I love your videos so much
good sim squirrel its got its good points and bad, but i think the good outweighs the bad :) you go squrril keep up the good work
You should not engage handbrake at redlights, you can run out on air pressure and you wont be able to drive off, it almost happend at the red light at the end :)

loving this omsi videos squirrel. Keep it up :3
Squrrel is awesome
You're such a nice bus driver. Would you drive my local citybus?
it's not "nevn-klink", it's Nerven-Klinik. Similar to the English "nerv clinic" (clinic for the nerves, which is the exact translation of the term)
What if rockstar games made a bus simulator :)
Or Randomly say something.... "Tag" ...like that :DDD
your narrating is hilarious sql.
2:10 could you not have looked at the timetable ? Does the timetable not tell you all the places you have to go to ?
Yes, but to be fair to Paul, he was on this route for the first time. And this is not an easy route. It's confusing at some points. And he did a really good job, without knowing the route. For example, on my first trip on this route, I got lost at that double left orange arrow.
3:47 police message 😂😂😂
You should turn collisions off, Paul. It's a war, you can't win against the AI. I have given up a long time ago and I can fully enjoy this game since then.
Its not bad how late you are to your stops my school bus is 25mins late and Its about 20 miles, which I'm just down the motorway from Liverpool
I go t school every day with bus No. 5, and it's almost the exact bus that you drove (white with blue bottom), but ours is a bit younger (i think)

The citroen was a bx not zx but correct with hydraulic raising suspension
Nice video.
This is waaay more understandable the controls (even in German) than FSX or flight simulators IDK WAT ANYONE IS SAYING SOMETIMES thats why i love buses although my dream job is to be a pilot lol
I just notice that the AI cars are mostly old german cars. Like old merc vans, golfs and beamers!
Yes, thats correct, Berlin is simulated as in the 90´s in that game, so the cars are of course 90´s cars too. The Hamburg addon should simulate "today", which is why, in his first episode, more modern cars were built in...
