Says simple... isn't! 2 soliom apps: 1 green/white, 1 gold/black, tried green first (couldn't get it to connect). gold/black app worked for first camera (s90) but 2nd camera (s600) keeps pairing and then asks for pairing, pair again, says received pairing and nothing... Ready to be paired... AGAIN!!! Solar panel cannot be mounted separate unless you hack it and power cord is NOT usb compatible for extension... Some kind of round 4 prong. Ask facebook Soliom page questions and you get minimized translated answers that are not applicable.
I had the same problem. Has to return it. If your router doesn't let you configure to just 2.4Ghz this camera gets confused because at the range they want you to pair, it is only seeing the 5Ghz from your router.
I love my cameras, but when I went to 5G, I could not log into them. I had to move them outside the range of my internet connection so that they would work. No prob, but what I would like is that...there would ne a way to see these cameras on my desktop through a website or something like that. That would be cool. Like...the ring. Maybe if there was a way for Alexa or Roku or Google to be able to allow me to see them.....that would be cool also...
Important note. Many routers, such as Spectrum provided routers are not configurable. If your router is a dual band, 2.4 and 5Ghz this camera will not be able to pair. I really like all the features of this camera but had to send it back. Spent an hour on the phone with Spectrum my internet supplier and got answers about my router that I didn't like. Soliom never responded when I contacted their customer support.
You did not show where or how to have the camera log into your WiFi? Can I run a USB cable to the camera to make sure the batteries are always fully charged instead of banking on the solar panel to charge them? Barry

Mine does not always log in, it shows a turning circle in the middle of the screen, do you know what the problem is ?
Yeah, that happens to me too.

By chance… we’re you able to find one that did connect to spectrum dual band router?
Outstanding.
I think you meant cell signal when you mentioned testing for WIFI strength. The cam doesn't have wifi, only cell.
"Ain't nobody got time for that!" LMAO!!

Barry
Hey Barry there is a battery status Icon when you log into the app. Mine is never under 90% but I live in San Diego.
Alan you were on Wipe Out Wow.
Not all heroes wear capes. Some wear lifejackets and crash helmets.
What is the cloud storage for this camera?
Cloud storage is provided by the manufacturer for a fee. it actually has local storage too which is whatever memory card you inserted.
@@Pozer714 Thanks
The Soliom camera is good, But their APP is one of the worst security camera APP.
