    13:38 I was looking @ bishop E2 to D3. If you were to move the bish there, that would be checkmate; the king could take said bishop, but then QD1 will eat him, or if the King decides to go one space forward, PF2 will eat him, E5 and D5 are both death sentences, because because both PC&D4 have a headshot on him . He can't take Knight F3 because it's defended by both pawn and bishop, OR his king could take the other bishop on F4, BUT moving PG2 to G3 will fck him again.

    He could have taken the bishop with the queen in 6:36, because if the queen was taken by the King he would checkmate in H8 with a new Queen

      Yes but he would of course move the king out of the way and not retake, which he did preemptively later moving kd7.

    @ 13:47 I was thinking bishop D3 check, he can't take the bishop because of the queen so he moves his king and you take the queen. He'll then take with the pawn ofc but you're up a queen and it'll be easy to find mate but to get a pawn mate is why he's an IM and I'm not 😂

    Couldn't you have taken the bishop on F8 with your queen before promoting that pawn on H8? If king takes back its checkmate when you promote?

      King wouldn't accept the sac and would run away, he thought he had a mating net but didn't see blocking with pawn

      @@07logiebear He's 1392 he very well might have taken the sac. Either way it is a good idea to allow your opponent to blunder mate. If you don't give him a chance, then you'll never know.

      @@nathanbates9561 that's true but I would trust even a 1400 to see mate in 1 threat, maybe mate in 3 I would go for it, depends on how risky the mare threat is, no point making the threat if it turns out a terrible position if declined

      matthew logan Well... it would have turned out the same exact position only you didn't allow your opponent to blunder mate. Also Eric Rosen who is a much higher rated player didn't even see it as he implied that it would be a Botez Gambit. So all that being said he had every reason to go for it according to your reasoning.

      I directly spotted the other mate but i am only rated 1389 and i am not a International Master so he misses the other mate!

    The bishop on f8 was free before he got the sixth queen. If black takes, it’s checkmate, and if he moves away, it’s a free bishop. It at least puts you one tact ahead
