The whole song as feels speed up and without any breaks so it is likely the time constraints. The only moment of calm is the ending

Coldplay sucked after their 3rd album. They distanced so much from the alternative music scene by incorporating modern pop tunes and the dance cliché of the 2010s and collaborating with pop stars like Rihanna and Beyoncé.
