Wonderful lesson. The ground is level at the foot of the cross. No one is above others. The same price was paid for all of us who are “ slaves to Christ❣️

This is the second time I’ve heard this particular sermon but I happened to be doing dishes this time. When he said all work serves the Lord , it brought a whole new meaning to simply doing dishes! Which I distain normally but suddenly I had such joy in my heart to wash a bowl. Tim Keller has made such a big Impact with his sincerity and Scholarly excitement to share his understanding of the Bible. Thank you Tim

I love the way Tim Keller preaches with new world metaphors shedding a deeper understanding of scriptures from the bible without distorting it and preaching his own views. I try to listen to one sermon every night and it has greatly helped me.

What a great sermon and speaker! I loved how you explained the reformation and Luther’s realization of all work as a calling by God.

The bible did not "condone" slavery, it told you how to live if you found yourself in those circumstances. God will never support the splitting of families, rape, being held against one's will, refusal to allow an education, stripped of culture and being lynched when you won't comply. This is not a godly experience. Yes, all work is a blessing, but employment is what you search out, not what is forced upon you. That is detention and incarceration having committed no crime.
