Speaking from experience as a cashier there, when an item says "sale not allowed" on the register there is nothing any associate or manager can do to bypass it. It isn't that we don't want to sell to you, it is just that we literally are not allowed to
@@TheFlippingAccountant Typically that message would be for recalled items which we legally cannot sell but when it comes to situations like yours where they scanned it on the register and it threw that message it definitely was not a recall, management just did not want you to buy it. @@TheFlippingAccountant i didn't work at Walmart but when we had any clearance stuff come up that price or like a penny we could not sell it for that price. Alot of the times we would look it up on the computer or scanner and see what the purchase price the company paid for it and wouldn't sell it below that price. But I don't know how Walmart handles it. Our policy was when it comes up that price it means its supposed to be shipped back and not sold. But yeah you can't blame the employees because there's two different situations we would run into at the retail store i was at.. Some of them when they came up on the register it would literally say on the register this product is not available for sale and there is literally nothing the store can do for you that is a corporate controlled thing. Now if it comes up that 3 cents they have some leeway.
I worked at a jcpenneys once. Sometimes we would get clothes in that would get recalled for for fire hazards. And there was nothing I (a supervisor) or the store manager could do. It happened a lot because the supervisor in charge of alerting people about the product to avoid the situation was lazy.
I know it’s an Older video however, just a quick tip from a former employee: on the app use filter. Select your store first (call and ask for 4 digit store number if unsure every store has one) then on video games filter the price to .3 and stop there or cap it at what ever number u see healthy & fit. Hope that helps friend
@@Puppy_Puppington games and magazines aren't merchandised by walmart. They are sold by another company that basically rents space from Walmart. Its the same at every store.
Having worked in Walmart Electronics for years, I can explain this for you. Many of the video games are vendor items, not actually owned by Walmart. The vendor sets the prices and the markdowns. At a certain point, the vendor doesn't want to take the loss and instead recalls the game. The recall list is supposed to be taken care of on a weekly basis and the games are supposed to be removed and sent to claims to be returned to the vendor. Usually, the department has little to no help, so these only end up getting handled when the customer stumbles upon them. Sucks for the customer.
@@moneymel3756 Anytime you hear, "I can't sell it to you", it's because it's been recalled. Happens in Video Games, Cell Phones, DVD/Blueray, Cameras, CDs and even vendor owned toys. Most of the departments have vendor items and they have the final say on those items.
@@pokey4200 Yes, the associates that don't value their jobs do stash things, but they aren't allowed to buy clearance items themselves until they've been priced for 24 hours and every time the price drops, that's another 24 hour wait period. So they usually get a friend or family member to come in and buy it. Also, reselling is a fireable offense.
I've been working as a Walmart frontend associate for about 2 months. The associate who rescanned everything probably didn't want to be given a hard time or disciplined by a manager who's sneakily watching. I've had that happen to me. I would've just scanned it through the app and not done that entire process though. I also hate it when stuff is out on sales floor when we can't sell it. Customers can get very mad.
Also with the walmart app we can only price correct things through the app if it is through walmart. If its through a third party we cannot price override (at least what my managers and coaches have told me being a SA)
I have also sent this message before watching the full video my coaches and managers have told me if it scans and comes up with a price it can be sold. I've had things show up for .10 cents. Including live Christmas trees for .35 cents
When they forced me to cashier. A pair of shoes came to me without a price tag I just gave them to the customer. I would of given more free things away but they mostly all scanned. glad I don't work in that toxic environment anymore.
yes if it scans then it's in the system and they have to sell it but when there is no one there to push it they say we can't sell that when this happens walk away and call corporate it can be a pain but it's funny the looks they give when they get a call and now there selling it to you and the manager says your causing me to lose my job . me no you did that enjoy
What's really funny about this video, is you paid for your 16 cents in video games by card, so.......after they covered the 30 cent per transaction fee on the card services fee, they paid you to take these games
As an ex amazon van driver they overpack Van's to the point where you're playing tetris to fit everything. Had a route with 217 stops after black friday and a little over 500 packages. To say the boxes were damaged before they were even loaded would be an understatement. and sad to say that many of the oversized packages were almost undeliverable by time of arrival. Upon calling my disbatch I was instructed to still deliver damaged goods to maintain our delivery goals.
If it scans at the till as "Sell not Allowed" there is quite literally NOTHING anyone can do to give it to you. It has been RECALLED, and the store will get a Recall Notice within a day or two. Usually those items aren't picked up by customers before they can be collected, but occasionally Home Office locks the item before sending the Recall Notice and someone tries to buy it in the meantime. A $0.01 item is something that the person doing "Price Changes" is supposed to collect and take to Claims to be sent back to the supplier because the supplier is asking for it back. Same with a $0.02 item. A $0.03 item is typically a store level associate (usually a department manager authorized by the store manager) just trying to get rid of something that has been sitting around for a long time, not selling, and they're not getting more. If the label has not been updated with the new, much lower price, it's Home Office using the same strategy, except they didn't let the staff know by way of sending a new label file in the morning "Price Changes", which is exactly why someone is supposed to be going through the department occasionally to scan labels and make sure they're all correct. If those games had been sitting in the bottom of the case for quite some time, no one had been checking like they were supposed to. If they were bundled together in the manufacturer's wrapping, and then didn't scan at the till, they are considered one item and that item either arrived without the barcoded sticker that is linked to the 2 pack game, meaning that barcode would scan at the till for both games together, one item, or someone removed that sticker either for the reason of not knowing better and not asking someone who would (infuriating to find because that little idiot didn't say a word and now you have no idea who it was, so now you have to do group training instead of one on one training), OR it wasn't scanning, in which case a store associate would have to go hunt down a UPC or Item Number that DOES work (usually it's the one listed on the truck report), and print a new sticky label to put over the existing or visible barcode, and sometimes Home Office is made aware that the barcode sticker that came on the item doesn't work and they go in and fix the file so that it does, but a store associate already has done what they could to make the item available to the customer, and sometimes there's this whole situation where the department manager spent a whole hour fixing 3 items so they could be sold, Home Office fixed the existing barcode sticker, but the sticker is covered by the department manager's sticker, which now doesn't work, the cashier told the CSM and the CSM went and spent an hour or more removing all the department manager's stickers, without telling the department manager, who then had no idea until a cashier calls her and says, "The barcode doesn't work," and the department manager thinks, "But I fixed them all two days ago," and goes to look and finds all her labels removed and so scans the manufacturer's barcode sticker and it doesn't work, so goes to her truck report to find the right one AGAIN, takes it to the cashier who has, in the meantime, been joined by the CSM who recognised the box in question because she's the one who removed all the stickers, and then asks the department manager as she gets to the till what's wrong and why it's not working today, to which the department manager replies, "Someone removed all my labels," and the CSM says, "I did. They weren't working," to which the department manager replies, "Why didn't you let me do it? Since I'm the one dealing with it," and the CSM says, "It happened after you left," and the department manager says, "What time did you get here this morning and why didn't you talk to me when you got here? I've been here all day, and now I have to stay late to fix this before I can go home." And the CSM just says, "Sorry," before leaving. And all that happened was Home Office tried to fix the existing barcode stickers on the multipack, and ended up, within 12 hours, just using the barcodes that the department manager put on the items in the first place. But some people just try to fix things themselves without knowing what they're doing. Big long rant, but either the barcode sticker for the 2 pack game was faulty or missing, another reason why the associates are supposed to be checking everything occasionally. If it was missing, then the barcode for one individual game would get scanned at the till if the cashier wasn't watching for it, and there is a fairly high chance that the individual game, that is, whichever of the 2 games had its back facing out, was more expensive than the 2 pack. That happens A LOT. If the individual game was over $50, then the till will NOT allow the cashier to remove it from the bill without a CSM. There is a faster way (a way that implies faster service for the customer, but the INSTANT that cashier tells the till to remove the game, the CSM is required and the cashier cannot move forward with the transaction. Side note: Please don't be telling the associate that you can just take it to the front with you. If it is locked up, the reason you have to ask for HELP to get it, is because the associate is NOT ALLOWED to let it leave the department\their hands until it is paid for. There is disciplinary action for those associates who frequently hand locked merchandise to customers to take around the store with them. If you have other places in the store to go, they can take it to the Customer service desk for you to collect when you're ready by letting your cashier know you have X and X items at Customer Service. Those items are high theft, and it is presumed that if they give it to you, there is a chance for it to disappear. Don't get offended: if they don't know you from Adam, how can they trust you? If you go in one day and an item isn't locked up and you go in the next day and it is, that means that item is a high theft item and the number they have in stock is vastly different from the number they're supposed to have in stock.
Walmart can be goofy.. … but good you found things… .. great explanation for people learning.. I’m glad your channel continues to grow… I refer people to your and Richie all the time..
Thanks Port of Stillwater! I really appreciate the support! I know you've been watching for a long time and I really am grateful that you keep coming back and referring other people. =D
The reason they wouldnt let you buy those games is because the system was telling them it was deleted out of there system and not available for purchase. It happens all the time.
Definitely going to start watching. Incredible work. Been looking for a secondary from home income and clearly you know what you're doing. Looking forward to watching and learning.
Why do your Walmarts always seem to have such big selections of clearance? All of my Walmarts have just a quarter aisle of damaged products and food about to expire.
I think it depends on walmarts. There is a Walmart in my city that has an entire aisle of just clearanced electronic items and some with really good deals too but have never been told i couldnt buy it thats the weird thing
It’s crazy with how inconsistent Walmart is on the games. One would think the higher ups would have seen these videos and have one consistent policy by now.
@@TheFlippingAccountant the reason why some go through and others say restricted is because of the price change policy. All price changes are sent by the home office. If an item is accidentally added in for price reduction by home office, is not caught there, but is caught by the store as an active game the was wrongly price changed, home office places a sale restriction on the item to hold for investigation. Most times the price will be readjusted within the next few days to a week.
There are no stores with different policies across each province or state, and any different policies between provinces and states have to do with provincial or state legislation. The only reason two seperate stores within the same province or state do things differently is because 1) the store manager doesn't like to do things the way s\he's supposed to vs s\he does, and 2) associates either know the policies and follow them or they don't.
@@itsmestupid1234 "Sell not allowed" means there is a recall on that item, and if a customer picks it up it's because either the Recall Notice has not been received yet or it's because the Store Manager or Claims Associate hasn't yet collected the items. Typically, the Recall Notice is recieved by the Store Manager by 5am and acted upon no later than 7am, but some Recall Notices and Restrictions aren't available and activated until the afternoon.
IMHO, the policies are probably consistent. Getting the work done is inconsistent for many reasons, some of which have been mentioned elsewhere. It's not uncommon for there to be staff shortages, especially during a pandemic. They'll take associates from another department to help fulfill online grocery orders, for example. Certain jobs take priority.
Fyi different store but similar boat, if the computer says no, theres nothing an associate can do, in some cases the computer will also say no to the manager. Especially recall items. Some things are recalled by the system for admin reasons. We had $50 safes the system registered as $5 overnight. Within 30 minutes the computer had been corrected and the prices were right. But for a week when the safes were attempted to be rung up it was just a blue screen that said can not sale item "recalled" and made a manager come get the item. It had been listed at the correct price in app and in store for over a week. It took like a month for it to figure out. You would've thought we have pulled them from the shelves but except for like 2 days when it was on a pallet in the back it was right back on the shelves.
I worked in retail before and at our store we had 2 cents and 3 cent items. 3 cent items we would gather and donate them to organizations, schools, or to any shelters. 2 cents however were discontinued items. We would gather those an either dispose them and or send them back to the manufacture. We would had to be on top of these items other wise people would buy them and cause us problems. If we can the items on the register I wouldn’t allow us to sell it, there’s no way to “override” it, legally we couldn’t sell it.
The videos are great - I have a quick question. I just sent in my 1st FBA shipment and the items are showing active in my manage inventory, but the delivery date is showing as September on all of my items. is this part of the normal process? will it change to prime delivery at some point?
Congrats on your first shipment! 👏🏻. And yes this is normal. Amazon will redistribute your items to other warehouses or within the same warehouse and it will take time for this to happen. Once the items are “settled” then the delivery date will change. Thanks for watching Bennie!
I recall hitting a HUGE score on Magic Tracks @ Walmart caused such a ruckus at checkout. Management was called to complete the sale and people were watching. Cashier goes "How did you even know about this? It wasn't marked down. " I just keep quiet, got my crazy discount, and got up out.
I like the little older lady throwing out the BS about the game not being available yet....hahaha. I am pretty sure she fully believed that, too! It is great you at least scored a few!
Occasionally Street Dated games and CDs and DVDs (sometimes licensed merchandise like toys) ARE locked, but they don't say "Sell not allowed", they say, "Item not found", which is why they are kept in the back in a box with giant orange stickers that say the date on which they can be put on the shelf. Sometimes the vendor will come in and do a sort of audit to see if they've been put on the shelf before the street date, but usually the vendor will just come in to put them out as a pretty display themselves. The store can actually be sued by the company providing these products if the products are displayed for sale early. That particular thing isn't a Walmart thing, it's a universal thing. That's why you'll almost never see it happen. But yes, the older woman was making up stories in an attempt to not sell the game. That's the kind of service that makes anyone not want to return, and it's also the kind of service that should be taken to the Store Manager or an Assistant Store Manager (ASM) as a Customer Complaint. Walmart's goal as a company is to make the customer happy while minimizing losses.
Word of advice. As a sneaker collector, I've dealt with unwanted stickers on boxes. All you need is a heat gun or a blow dryer. Heat up the sticker until the adhesive gives out, and boom. You can pull it right up without tearing
In Canada they do $0.02 item, which are meant to be cleared from shelves. If an employee sees you with it before you pay, they will take it and say it's not suppose to be on shelf and is not for sale. If you use self checkout you can sometimes get it. If you purchase it, it's legally yours, though I've been stopped by security and forced to return it, which is illegal, because it's my product.
A few weeks ago I had 4 of the 3 cent games at self check. It was near closing time and I forgot my wallet in the car. I came back in and the self check lady wrang up my games and manually changed the price to $10 and said I can only sell you 1 of them. I said why did you change the price and she said because it was wrong and its really suspicious behavior that your buying multiple copies of the same game. I had the manager brought over and she said the same thing. So I had them cancel the transaction. The next day I went back to electronics and they had the games back on the shelf. So the guys back there know me and just rang me up no problem. It really depends on the employees. Some of them take this way to seriously like they are going to loose their job over a 3 cent game. I just try to be as nice to them as possible and dont give up and it seems to pay off.
Yeah I don't understand why it's taken so personally. You're just a customer trying to buy a product at the price that it's marked. Glad to hear that it worked out in the end! Thanks for watching Jeff!
Not really understand if the price on the label 23$ but you scan it with the Wallmart app and then showed 0.03$ you just show that price cashier or when they scan it the price will be 3 cents? Thank you!
@@pavelkomar6965 I think it just shows you the updated prices not to sure tho going to try it tomorrow maybe I find good deals with Christmas behind us
I used to work retail. The checker was mistaken. The games are on their way out of the system. It's not that they haven't come out yet, it's that they are old enough to have worked their way out of the system.
Damn, wish my Walmart let me buy games at self checkout. I also wish they still put them out. Sadly my Walmart has high theft so pretty much most of the electronics department is locked up.
Just a tip to anyone , when ur buying items on the Walmart app or checking prices. Make sure that it is comparing it to that Walmart store or Walmart in general. Because there are other sellers on the app that aren’t Walmart.
I have had things scan on the Walmart app and in-store scanners at a discount price but then at the register scan for regular price so aggravating. I even asked management why they have signs posted to check prices with the WM app if they are not going to honor prices within the app. So dumb.
That is a glitch between the price file and the till. The Price Checkers tell you the same price that the PDA type devices that the associates and management carry around say (I only ever encountered where it didn't twice in the whole 9 years I worked for Walmart Canada). The cashier calls a CSM or Department Manager, gets the correct price from their scanner, and overrides to the correct price, and if the price given by their scanner is different from what's on the shelf or sign, then Scanning Code of Practice kicks in. When I first started there, the customer had to ask for the Scanning Code of Practice, and then later we were told to go Above and Beyond and start applying SCP automatically. If you are not receiving a satisfactory level of service, speak to the Store Manager, and if he's an idiot, ask the nice associates who is the best Assistant Store Manager (ASM or Assistant Manager), and whichever one is talked about most frequently in the best light, that is the manager you want to talk to about your concerns.
They do it that way, bc their policy is if it rings up a lower price then marked, they give the item to you free. They use to just give it to you. Now it gives them a can't sell. It goes by how old it is. If that game is newer than the other you got for .03, that post will come up.
Yano, at this point with half of the store going on sale you figure they would just get rid of it all, but thats awesome you got something out of the cases!
@A B Gamestop would probably be your best bet but there are games they will not take. My point is that simply because something is worth more online doesn't mean it will sell.
I had that happen, but it wasn’t 3 cent item. It was a $20 transformer toy that was marked down to $1.00 and they took it away from me. Later on I found out that person bought it themselves. I think that mark down is an inside job where there own family members come right after that mark down to swipe it all, but accidentally left one back. I started to hide a couple items and check several days to see if it’s mark down even more. It worked I got a transformer blaster which was $29.84 for $1.80. I went to a self check out this time where nobody could question it. I even took the yellow bar code that showed the mark down in case I was asked. Still got the bar code for proof. Wish I could somehow show you it.
Just started watching your videos. And I'm curious. You buy all the stuff then what? Post on Amazon? Package and ship? Would love to see the whole process
Looking at how much you saving on each product buy buy time U . Pay for boxes packing tape plus waght on posting price. Mean s U not saved as much. Unless sale with out posting. Pic up only. You would get more $$ back. Than going thru Amazon .
My problem is got Lego to ree sale put online. But it may take a few days to sale so you need lots of stuff. So yar get sale s as U need the money. Back. Or have to waight to get money back. Fee s on line. I hate one sold a product.
I work at Walmart electronics center and I've already thought about walmart arbitrage. A lot of the $5 dollar movies would sell for 15 to 20 on amazon.
I just stumbled on this and watched out of curiosity. I appreciate your resourcefulness and education. That being said though, I find purchasing diapers on clearance to resell for profit to be unconciousable. I don't have children.. Please, leave the diapers or child goods for parents who need the break (like dad when I was younger) or consider donating them to a shelter/church/etc. I'll add women's hygienic products to this. You could be someone's saving grace doing this. Maybe you already do and I don't know since this is my first watch, but just a thought.
Curious on the Apps accuracy. Many times I get "Unavailable" or I've scanned and get a discount price but the item scans for a better price from an associates App. Wal-Mart the innovator of self check and pushed out their app to eliminate in-store scanning kiosk.
The only time I ever got something that cheap was at a Walmart store that closing down the location with store-wide clearance, getting Christmas items with their own stacked Christmas clearance discounts.
So how do you know what game are $0.03 before scanning? And you just scan with Walmart app? I actually did this with a 120 dollar bike for my kid and it rang up at $19
Walmart policy states not only do they have to sell it to you at the price it rings up if the actual employee puts all the items in the wrong spot n price is cheaper they have to give u that price I know bc I did overnight stocking there
I know in 2017 walmart announced they will no longer be doing price matches and they set the registers up to not be able to change the price on items even if you call the Corp. Office or email they tell you in 2017 they changed there policy.
But policy requires cashier to click it and make sure it’s “shipped and sold by Walmart” the real price won’t show up until you click it. So this advice is irrelevant unless you pull a Karen.
It's good for beginners to know the store policy if they have a price that is marked wrong and your rights as a customer... good to do some research before heading to the store.. so you have the knowledge to talk it out eith the store manager if the sales has no clue what to do.
I found mens long sleeve hoodie shirts a few weeks back for $1 a piece. They were $22. I grabbed several. I can sell them for $6 locally, and have a decent profit
We have a code in Australia where if the machine scans for a higher price then the first item is free. If the app or shelf price is lower, boom, freebie!
Have you thought of using a handheld bluetooth scanner for faster scanning? I know you can connect it to apps like scoutify and the amazon/ebay sellers app. Not 100% sure if you can connect it to the walmart app but imagine you could. Could save you several seconds per item which doesn't seem like much but when you're mass scanning, that time really adds up. Thanks for the vids!
I never ran into any items when working for walmart that did thst to the till or i was told to not sell with the exception being street dated items that due to the contracts set in place i could not sell before the street date. Mind you i worked at walmart prior to flipping items or scalpers really blew up (not saything they didnt exist before hand of course) I do however work at gamestop now and there are items in our system that have been zeroed out. So they are items that have a price tag of a penny however we arent allowed to sell those which sucks too caude they are decent items im sure they will be destroyed which seems like a waste. We also limit certain types of items being bought like how ps5s we can only sell one per customer a lot of collectible stuff has a limit of 1 or 2 per customer depending on the item, though this isnt in your case, you arent buying items that are collectible you are simply buying discounted items. Like others said its not the cashiers fault, ive had instances where people eanted to buy an item i knew i couldnt sell snd then management came to me and were like”you know they complained you shouldve just sold it” walmart managers arent kind in this sort of situation and the cashier gets in trouble either way even tho they were just simply following policy
I worked in sporting goods at Walmart and whenever I would scan something that was a good deal, like 1$ or 3$ items, straight from the distribution center I would typically buy it and tell everyone around me about it, lol. It seems it's just an error in home office when they price things. I'm guessing when an item gets restricted it's because there is an employee in the store that has reported it to management or (like someone else said) the item has had a recall. And hence the restriction on it until home office changes the price back, that usually happens within 3 or 4 days. Most of the employees look at things like that as a secret clearance, but I never worked in electronics- that was a whole different world I'm sure.
Only Recalled items scan as "Sell not allowed". Anything priced as $0.01 or occasionally $0.02 is on an RA and must be collected and taken to Claims to be returned to the supplier. Those items are not restricted at the till but they are jot intended to be sold. Any associate who tried to purchase 1¢ or 2¢ items can be disciplined. $0.03 is typically a store side clearance item for quick sale, but can also be Home Office side clearance for quick sale, and all Clearance must be avoided by staff for 24 hours from the time of the price change action.
I hate when they try to pull the “these aren’t priced right” BS. I always take it up the managerial chain until I get someone that knows what they are doing.
@@carmenwagner634 if they cant sell it they cant sell it. maybe someone higher in command wants to take that risk or can bypass it but a regular employee is gonna have the same issue
I tried to get a switch game that had a sticker on the box for .03 i had an associate get it from the cabinet and when he noticed the sticker he refused to sell it saying "someone from another store is marking these games down for their friends so they can return them for more money"... My response is what does that have to do with me? Even after it scanned for 03 cents, he still would not sell it. Complete bs if you ask me. Probably bought it with the other clearance they stash in the back.
WM is good at leaving stuff out that has a tag on it for sell then tell you it’s not. Their system sucks!!!! They shouldn’t have stuff out on a shelf with a sales sticker on it if they then say they can’t sell it to you.
The only time a Walmart employee even remotely gives a shit about anything is when you are trying to buy something at a price that seems to good to be true
I buy things for myself and friends and family. I have seen people do this kind of stuff for collectibles Barbie, Hot Wheels, baseball cards, action figures, and it can be aggravating I dont pay the high secondary market price I will wait or do without. But people cant buy the playstation 5 because of the scalping and secondary selling. I would like to see manufacturers make money by selling the items at a higher price retail and the people who want them may have a better opportunity. With the crazy events in the past 2 years people were buying hand sanitizer and other items and the authorities put thier foot down and made people who were doing it where they would see jail time for taking advantage of others in need. They had $1,000s of dollars invested that they had to give to charity at Best. The firearms and ammunition world sees this stuff every election and national emergency maybe people will become more aware if they want to pay Low prices...but some fads fall apart later but its usually the collectors who paid top dollar then get soaked when the market falls apart...
One time I got those 3 drawer plastic things for 5 bucks and they were regular price at Walmart. Didn't want to honor but finally relented. Bought 6 of them
@@TheFlippingAccountant also if its a non sellable item then why is it on the shelf!! 😅. I work at a store and we make sure customers get what they came to buy and the deals they find especially if the app or sticker doesn't match the in-person price. So it hurts to see walmart being very not customer friendly. If something rings up as unknown, we just check the app or go check the sticker price and type it in manually
They aren't supposed to sell them to you. The 3¢ marker means it's supposed to be pulled and returned to the manufacturer because the game is past it's shelf life.
I am not sure when if you got the latest update to the Walmart app but for me it no longer will show me the in store price and I am curious if something scans with a cheaper Walmart.com price will they price match it to what it scans for!
When she said they are not on the market yet I think she ment deal wise. Maybe the deal starts in a few weeks but an employee marked it on the game early. So it's not ready to sell at that price yet. My only thought on it.
Good score! They really are just copied disks and video game companies and walmart already made a fortune. I bought a Fallout 3 companion guide for a penny at best buy years ago. Excellent video 😊
I've heard that Altec will file "Intellectual Property" complaints ("IP complaints") which is where they claim you're selling counterfeit items and it hurts your amazon account. I try to stay away from products where the companies do that.
Where do you live that Walmart sells games at discounted prices like that? The only discounts Walmart where I live will do is what manufacturers give for discounts (greatest hits $19.97 or seasonal sales)

Found how to filter but I can't find anything.
Yup people don’t realize the seller isn’t Walmart when it is cheaper.
Which I don’t fucking know why Walmart allows other sellers on their app…. If I wanted that I’d go to eBay or Amazon.
If that were true there would be no price for it online or anywhere that Walmart is advertising on a Walmart domain
I know too many walmart employees that stash this stuff for when they clock out to believe this.
Sucks for the employee too when customers get mad at them for something they're not at fault for too.
Very mad and very childish real quick.
Yep. I'm comfortable with this. Thanks for watching =)
Thats what you get when space cowboy is your owner
I typically don’t watch videos about hunting things for profit but you have me SO intrigued, I’m planning on sticking round
Side note:
Please don't be telling the associate that you can just take it to the front with you.

Why do your Walmarts always seem to have such big selections of clearance? All of my Walmarts have just a quarter aisle of damaged products and food about to expire.
Same at my walmart. 50 cents off of $4 wraps, and $6+ subs that are ready for the garbage. What a freaking deal on the food!

Just bought those Kraken X headphones , was on clearance for 45 and range up at 25 , so i was happy..

It is great you at least scored a few!
lol yeah.. she didn't have any idea what she was talking about but it's all good. Thanks for watching again Jenly! =)
Yeah, you have given her hell !! 🤣🤣
My hell I hate when they deny those clearance prices
Yeah it's pretty frustrating, but we don't give up. Thanks for watching Eric!

Lol why do you want to use self checkout?
Yano, at this point with half of the store going on sale you figure they would just get rid of it all, but thats awesome you got something out of the cases!
lol yeah I thought it was pretty good too. I don't know why they wouldn't sell me the Division game, but oh well. Thanks for watching Colby!
Awesome!!!! I’m in Miami... and I’ve tried this before. In the end, it didn’t go THIS well for me. Lol
My question is did those 3 cent games actually sell when you tried to resell them online? 🤔
I buy items and then ship them to Amazon's warehouse. Amazon ships the items directly to the customer when it sells. Thanks for watching Jeff!
Do you get paid after you ship to warehouse or after it sells in Amazon? Thanks
He literally said that first sentence basically😂 😂 😂
Looking at how much you saving on each product buy buy time U . Pay for boxes packing tape plus waght on posting price. Mean s U not saved as much. Unless sale with out posting. Pic up only. You would get more $$ back. Than going thru Amazon .
My problem is got Lego to ree sale put online. But it may take a few days to sale so you need lots of stuff. So yar get sale s as U need the money. Back. Or have to waight to get money back. Fee s on line. I hate one sold a product.

The only time I ever got something that cheap was at a Walmart store that closing down the location with store-wide clearance, getting Christmas items with their own stacked Christmas clearance discounts.
So how do you know what game are $0.03 before scanning? And you just scan with Walmart app? I actually did this with a 120 dollar bike for my kid and it rang up at $19
Awesome score on the bike! I scan a bunch of video games and I use a website called brickseek. Thanks for watching!
Walmart policy states not only do they have to sell it to you at the price it rings up if the actual employee puts all the items in the wrong spot n price is cheaper they have to give u that price I know bc I did overnight stocking there
How is it possible to find a video game worth 3 cents in a store? That's cheaper than candy in vending machines, insane.
you should take a drive to as many Walmart stores as possibly and buy more 3cent games that's insane value that's unheard of here in the Uk
Love the way you handle the employees 💙
Thanks! I do my best to be respectful even when they don't want to budge lol.
What's wrong with the altec speakers? Couldn't quite catch what you said
It's good for beginners to know the store policy if they have a price that is marked wrong and your rights as a customer... good to do some research before heading to the store.. so you have the knowledge to talk it out eith the store manager if the sales has no clue what to do.
I found mens long sleeve hoodie shirts a few weeks back for $1 a piece. They were $22. I grabbed several. I can sell them for $6 locally, and have a decent profit
Very nice Carolyn! Sounds like some easy profit right there!
I really don't understand why they have them on the shelves if they don't want people to buy them!
Yep I don’t understand either. Thanks for watching Bianca!
Usually an employee didn't get to take them off the shelves yet.
We have a code in Australia where if the machine scans for a higher price then the first item is free.
If the app or shelf price is lower, boom, freebie!
How can you tell if a game is $0.03, do you have to scan them all or is there something that signals it could be extremely discounted
I dont know at what part of the video, but he says you have to scan everything to find out.
Yes you have to scan using the Walmart app to find the discounted games. I also use a website called brickseek.
Hey JRich! Thanks for the suggestion. I have a bluetooth scanner but I've never tried to use it with the Walmart app. Maybe I'll give it a try.
I never ran into any items when working for walmart that did thst to the till or i was told to not sell with the exception being street dated items that due to the contracts set in place i could not sell before the street date. Mind you i worked at walmart prior to flipping items or scalpers really blew up (not saything they didnt exist before hand of course)
I do however work at gamestop now and there are items in our system that have been zeroed out.
How do you get the products to ring up as the price in the app? I tried this once but I checked out and the prices were not correct.
The chewy wallet 😆! Such a satisfying haul! Let's go!!!
lol glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching again Terri!
Yeah it's not cool when they see the price and won't do anything about it.
Iwonder how many employees see a price like that and refuse and then buy it themselves to resell??
@@carmenwagner634 if they cant sell it they cant sell it. maybe someone higher in command wants to take that risk or can bypass it but a regular employee is gonna have the same issue
Hooligan Hockey - Does elevating it up the chain of command work? What % of the time? Interesting that you are calling the employee's out on it.
The register is the price not the tag that’s the policy
I tried to get a switch game that had a sticker on the box for .03 i had an associate get it from the cabinet and when he noticed the sticker he refused to sell it saying "someone from another store is marking these games down for their friends so they can return them for more money"... My response is what does that have to do with me? Even after it scanned for 03 cents, he still would not sell it. Complete bs if you ask me. Probably bought it with the other clearance they stash in the back.
My guess they we'll give it to second hand stores like olies our donated our send it back to warehouse
WM is good at leaving stuff out that has a tag on it for sell then tell you it’s not. Their system sucks!!!! They shouldn’t have stuff out on a shelf with a sales sticker on it if they then say they can’t sell it to you.
There are only a few things that slip through the cracks on the computer side. Most problems originate with the people assigned to not let them occur.
The only time a Walmart employee even remotely gives a shit about anything is when you are trying to buy something at a price that seems to good to be true
You should do a giveaway with some of the 3 cent games.
Let’s be honest who still plays the games he finds for 3 cents
Like you would?!?
@@sarahallgood798 Huh?
I can see this was done before Walmart screwed up their barcode scanner app to be slow and flaky. The old one in this video was so quick and easy.
Bought 6 of them
If its saying 3 cents in the official walmart app they must sell it to you at that price.
Yeah that's what I thought too, but they don't always agree. Thanks for watching!
I don't get it why does Walmart put the wrong price on there item? And the only way to find it is to scan em?
They aren't supposed to sell them to you. The 3¢ marker means it's supposed to be pulled and returned to the manufacturer because the game is past it's shelf life.
How does this work every time I find a game on the app it says it's on sale but I check gamestopp and it's the exact same price
If its on the sales floor i feel like they should have to sell it
Yeah that seems like the logical conclusion, but they don't always see it that way. Thanks for watching again Joe 2.0!
I used to work for Walmart, and my manager would say if it's on the sales floor, they have to sell it to you. But I guess they do whatever they want.
I am not sure when if you got the latest update to the Walmart app but for me it no longer will show me the in store price and I am curious if something scans with a cheaper Walmart.com price will they price match it to what it scans for!
Why do the employees always have to have an attitude, they can’t ever just explain it they always have to be all smart and know it all
Next time, mention "letter to president "you watch them turn ghost white...
Ok let’s see if you put these guys in their place 😂
lol. Hope you enjoyed the video Joe!
Why does everything on amazon require approval to sell. Where do i even start
Self check is supposed to have the key for those. It is unnecessary to bother the service desk for that.
What app do you use to identify the sales and then cross check the pricing elsewhere?
Where do you find lists of games on sale?
I couldnt exactly hear why u said u were staying away from the Altec Speakers....???
My question is if they can't sell it why do they have it on the shelf to begin with. That makes no sense to me.
Yes I totally agree. Thanks for watching Brian!
I agree. if they cant sell it then it should not be on the shelf.
@@TheFlippingAccountant np I love your videos and content
Ik there is some Samsung ear buds at Walmart that shows like 80 I think and it's ringing up like 40
When she said they are not on the market yet I think she ment deal wise.
Maybe the deal starts in a few weeks but an employee marked it on the game early. So it's not ready to sell at that price yet. My only thought on it.
How do you know which ones are 3 cent games???
I would have had to ask what the deal on those no sale games. going to put them back on the shelf for them to cause another customer issue
Are you sending items into fba with the clearance stickers on the product?
This happend to me one time..the Wally world register lady went above and beyond to not give me my games that scanned low
Good score! They really are just copied disks and video game companies and walmart already made a fortune. I bought a Fallout 3 companion guide for a penny at best buy years ago. Excellent video 😊
What did you say the complaint was with the Altec bluetooth speakers?
I've heard that Altec will file "Intellectual Property" complaints ("IP complaints") which is where they claim you're selling counterfeit items and it hurts your amazon account. I try to stay away from products where the companies do that.
Where do you live that Walmart sells games at discounted prices like that? The only discounts Walmart where I live will do is what manufacturers give for discounts (greatest hits $19.97 or seasonal sales)
Question I'm not real tech savvy How do u scan with the Walmart app?
Hi Mona! Open the walmart app, tap "Shop Walmart.com" and the app should update to your location, then tap the barcode button in the top right hand corner of the app to scan. Hopefully this helps!
@@TheFlippingAccountant Wow never knew about this Thanks for the video & thanks for answering my question 🙂👍
Fallout 4 and 76 are 3 cents at my Walmart (Houston Tx)
