Bro, it's even been documented, Nips people have even said that when he was deep in the streets they called him "Thundkat", not Nipsey. Nip himself said he changed his name to Nipsey Hussle when he got for real about his music and his career & chose to leave the streets behind. CW even said in this interview he had never heard of Nip before he died. That means, he never listened to his music, saw his interviews or ever even knew what dude was about, but that "character" shyt seemed like a good lane to make low intelligence people listen to you & back you. Dude just should have done his homework first, before trying to get a rise out of everyone by disrespecting a man who is no longer here is all I'm saying.

I am from Washington DC, and we have experienced a lot of killings and violence in our city. I recently just came upon Mr. Charleston White, and I have tuned in as many others just to see his point of views about many topics, So far I have bought into a lot of his explanations. You don't have to be school educated to comprehend most of his expressions. We have witnessed most of what he is saying in our own neighborhoods and communities. One point that he makes is that many of the Southern Blacks, have a different mindset concerning other blacks in their communities. What I have observed from most of the debates and conversations is that OG's dont want to give up their images and reputations especially when confronted face to face about the violence they have caused. See its totally different when you are a gang that is protecting the community, the elderly, mothers, children, sons and daughters. But, it all a different animal when you are injecting fear and control over people who are suffering because of their plight and circumstances. Its a different kind of animal that decides to kill off their future seeds because of greed, reputation, and respect. Another point I have witnessed and observed is old habits die hard, nothing new or informative is able to penetrate this kind of stubbornness. My philosophy is "If you know better you will do better". Keep doing what you are doing Mr. White, because no man or woman can kill a spirit ordained and sent by God.
It’s not older gang members or former gang members responsibility to save the black community from gang violence. it’s going to take the entire community over multiple generations to resolve the issue. Starting with resolving broken homes repairing the divide between fathers and mothers. And resolving the economic issues at the same time.
nah it is their responsibility they started terrorizing the hood first now they're minions doing it. they just scared to teach them young boys something until they get fukd up! then all u hear buddy was a good dude nah i dont believe that!
So you are saying the black folks that are already doing what's right is suppose to do extra work and fix the problems from the gang members that could careless about the community and took part in it's demise? That's a no from me, ima work hard and leave them niggas right where they at.

I believe that if it continues to garner support the black community will see a huge turn around and positive changes that will ultimately lead great improvement in race relations across the board. I happen to believe that a strong black community is great for the entire country and obviously themselves. Going forward as we begin to see these changes take place, it'll be more than just knowing something, it will be something we know we did that took dicipline and then we can be proud of ourselves in doing something that's bigger than us. We will truly accomplish the real American dream imo, which is unifying the country as one people that has been terribly divided for so very long. I'm a white man, and a believe in all of it from the bottom of my heart and soul. I love our country and all of the American citizens that have built it and believe in coming together as one people regardless of our skin color, religious beliefs, sex, ECT. All of it is totally possible if we just believe in ourselves and can put the petty differences aside that have given birth to all the division that have kept us divided for far to much time. He says he’s playin a character all the time
Exactly
Rather he’s playing a character or not… A lot of the things he say are right… Gangbanging is stupid… Nipsey Hussel was a gangbanger… Unless he cut ties with that part of his life, it doesn’t matter the good that he did… We gotta quit glorifying gangs, drugs, killings, guns, etc…
@@djgarrett1625 I’m willing to bet that you have not a clue about Nipsey! That character analogy was bullshit cuz Nip is Nip whether or not in street name or real name he had good intentions for the hood and youth. Gangsta rap is his genre so what do you expect his music to sound like? If you really knew Nip tho you would know he was definitely not glorifying gang banging. Gangs are made in America, go back and see what America was like living as an African American in those times in those areas there’s plenty of documentaries on it. He did a lot of things as far as giving back to the community and was doing as Nipsey Hussle so again that analogy about characters was irrelevant. CW has a reckless mouth piece and he won’t get far, meanwhile Nipsey did things before he died that set a legacy for him.
@@62whoshotya agree to disagree… you like what you like and I like what I like… I don’t like his kind of music… Him rapping about that stuff is in fact him glorifying those things… And Nipsey’s gang ties has nothing to do with how blacks were treated back then… I have no idea why you tried to justify him gang banging like that… Gangs in 2021 are stupid… If Nipsey wasn’t involved in the lifestyle that he was in, he would probably still be alive… Same with all of these rappers that get shot… What do they have in common? Gang ties and promoting violence, guns, and drugs with their music… It’s easy to have good intentions when you’re filthy rich… But what are your intentions when you’re broke? To join a gang, rob, and commit crimes? I’m not saying that’s what he was doing… I just hate gang members…
Never disrespect the hand that fed you knowledge, Egos is the main reason characters loose their life. I was raised in South Central in the 90's television and Music has brained washed us to admire the gang culture but in reality it has taught us to be followers and not leaders.

There’s no excusing the characters that influence our children and people in general. Charles is absolutely right.

It's going to be something truly awesome to having been able not only to bare witness too...but being the people that made it all possible. @Mordecai Tha Great nah Chicago might be similar in some ways but the history of those cities ain’t. I know what you’re saying trust me I agree with some of the shit CW says but I can see right through him bro he’s not the one! Especially the way he going about it in that manner it’s already wrong! You got people who really try to make a difference in that realm and then you got this clown CW!

Makes more sense from the beginning.....what I saw from the 1st clip just look like straight madness! Respect to all 4 brothers we gon work it out one day......
Watching the whole video and the fact that CW stormed out with all of his valid points is TELLING! Lol
CW had some great points. And overall speaking to promotion/marketing of a ‘gangster image/character’. Essentially talking down on anyone that continues to promote the gangster life. The OG is so invested in his crip shit he missed the point, felt he had to stand up for his lifestyle and Indirectly threatened CW. CW then spoke to it directly and it went to shit after that.
Og clearly threatened him off top..
People ain't catch that
Clearly
Yeah...You and CW act like he ain't talking to some killas. Them dudes got blood on their hands behind this sht. CW tried it when he shouldn't have and that's going to be the death of him. Right or wrong you better come correct. That's on your life so, you think sht sweet then you gon learn if you keep asking a teacher for a lesson.

I hope this dialogue builds into something greater . Nice interview even with the bad ending .

Charleston White is a straight up mark! He gone get touched playing this game he playing, speaking on things that he never been a real part of.

This is a dumb statement on your part. Cw isn't playing a game or hurting anyone. He's speaking on what they do for a living. If that gets you touched by another black man you have serious issues my dude. Ppl with your kind of thinking needs to be exterminated from this earth
If he gets "touched" doesn't that make him right about everything he's saying?
CW got up outta there when he felt the smoke 😂
As he should...
If he would've practiced stand ya ground and knocked then old farts down you would say he's wrong

That man clearly threatened CW which escalated the situation. Stop acting like Cw was on one for walking out.
Charleston wasn’t wrong, he indirectly threatened him. As a man he couldn’t let him continue without addressing what he said. He shouldn’t of walked off tho.
He reacted irrationally and the his tendency to be the loudest in the room while walking away is a sign of weakness frfr

@@thekingsson1757 So Charleston saying that he'll die or kill for what says then goes on to disrespect these brother's people is okay? Charleston needs to learn how to get his point across without the crazy talk. That's how you end up hurt. Show respect. This ain't no game.

@@thekingsson1757 I hear everything that Charleston says. I agree with most of it. The thing is that he can't be saying eff this and eff that to people who lost loved ones to it.
Even if he feels bad about some of the things he had to do while in service, you can't tell a retired Navy Seal eff the Navy Seals. He'll beat the dog shit out of you or kill you. Because he was apart of a fraternity. A brotherhood where people lost lives regardless of the circumstances.
Charleston has a lot of common sense and can be more persuasive if he doesn't get disrespectful. Gangbangin is LA culture. You can't come from the outside and preach if you haven't lived it. They not trying to hear you.
I get you my brother, the killing needs to stop. It's genocide but Charleston's approach isn't working.
