- Today we visit The New Buffet in one of Pattaya's premiere resorts, the offerings are extremely diverse and beautifully presented but on the way home we get soaked by a rain squall. Details of my upcoming Birthday Party are unveiled as we say a Happy Birthday to another special friend in town.

Loucous, I do agree that the buffet was a bit pricy but after converting it into British Pounds, it was slightly over £30.00 each which considering the quality of the food, it didn’t seem so bad. Also, as Lan is rather streetwise where buffets are concerned, she knew what to go for!! Best wishes to you both!!
Yes, also considering everything is up in price. Some of these other places may have gone up since I was last there.

These days I cannot eat sufficient in one sitting to make a buffet value for money at that price although I don't mind paying for quality over quantity. I do remember in the past there was a buffet place towards Dolphin roundabout on 2nd road that was great value for money, no idea if it's still there as it was many years ago when my then LLT girl took me.

The buffet worked out to $63 Australian dollars each so that looked very good to me

Another trip around the sun...where does the time go? I know i am not the on ly one to feel that way. While I feel stuck here with mom needing care and feeling like nothing is moving forward, I am staring down at 49 this coming December. It flies by! The buffet looked really good. I would love to try some of those roasted pigs...it always looks yum!

These sorry old bones just needs Ribs and wings at Queen Victoria, greatest desserts at Soi 6 and on to a suite at Villa Raya. Perfect
The Sunday carvery buffet at The Queen Victoria is also very good (and only 370Baht).

4:40 Its nice but I prefer Phillips Seafood here at the Inner Harbor. You don't have Maryland crabs or Old Bay Seasoning. Where are the Hushpuppies? Phillips was about 10 minutes from the old Hammerjacks on Russell St. Do you remember Hammerjacks before it was torn down?

I got home a few days ago after 6 weeks in Pattaya. We barely had any rain at all. Guess I was lucky. I visited the Space Hotel and the views were stunning. I'm not a fan of buffets, especially pricey ones.

That rain was horrible for 60 minutes. The buffet is great if you are under 40 and you like seafood. I would go for the view and some crab. My stomach hurts seeing all those dishes. Still waiting on my LTR approval. I went to the farang visa that you recommended. They know you. A little more expensive for the license, but I like their attitude and service. That is worth the extra bhat to get it done. You probably know already that the thai license is valid in all ASEAN countries. If I have time and energy I may stop over on the 30th. The energy part is the challenging thing because they diagnosed me with hypothyroidism in Bangkok. Easy to fix, but I need to see my doctor in Penang. Thanks for the video as always. Enjoy!

Buffet grazing takes knowledge, planning and skill to get your bang for the buck. The smart ones fast for a day before the attack and then beeline it for the high priced entries and stay away from the rise and noodles.
Little ladies like Lan can destroy buffets. I visited a former employee in Taipei years ago, 4'6", 80 lbs. She took me to a buffer and she made about 5 passes and loaded up her plates. I was done, knockout out, after 2 rounds. She may have a tapeworm.

Depends on which material I think, also higher quantities get cheaper.
The trouble with those buffets is you are paying for what they throw away as nobody eats all they offer. When will you understand those big ones are prawns not shrimps, shrimp means small or skinny, the little ones are shrimps. We had rain and hail like that in Benidorm today. I liked the black shirt with the feathers on best but unfortunately I don't wear that style anymore Good wishes for your birthday this week.

The buffet was pricey so a person would need to enjoy the higher price food. But a person does not get satisfied for a long time after eating. Maybe Lana had the correct idea. A good beef dish would more filling and maybe more flavourable.

Been there and wasn’t impressed. No doubting there’s a lot of choice but the seafood quality is nowhere near as good as some on offer like at the Intercontinental.
Setting noisy like a school canteen and when we went the air con was on at full blast and it was freezing.
