The land looks incredible you have done such amazing work. The flock of chickens look so lovely scratching around and the geese as well. We are having a very mild summer here. Rainy but not alot, just enough to keep the bushfires at bay. Still gets chilly here on the upper mountains at night.

Did you manage to start your garden yet? Last summer was really bad here hoping for this one to be much better.
We are finally getting some real cold here but it will not last long. Kids have been loving the snow for last few days.

I think you are trying to clean too much. If you don't dig out what you have cleared or plough the whole area it will constantly grow back for you, and you most likely need a bullldozer before ploughing. I have heaps of piles of stuff for mulching everywhere that has been around for several seasons, I can't get myself to burn them since I spent so much on the mulcher. How quickly you have become like the locals... Just Burn it.. Croatia has changed you man LOL.
Yeah, I'd like to know how to make a pond. I have pond liner, but I would like to know how to make one without one. Hopefully, you will make a video on that 😉 I think if done properly that will be a popular youtube video as I haven't found any that arent big earthworks projects. Some people have done shallow ponds with ducks or pigs or other forms of gleying but I haven't seen a decent pond done and explained.

This is just overgrown with blackberry and it has cut me up everywhere. Just had enough of pulling thorns out of my hands every day. There is still heaps to mulch this just helped me a bit plus the ash is good for the garden.
I will make it a deep pond as I do not want it all to freeze as I want to put fish in to it to eat all the mosquito larvae. You have to dig till hard clay and use some of it to line the sides that is all I know. If I can not find anyone with some knowledge I will have to get learning before building it
