Motherfucker, you know that it takes vegetation to produce the % of oxygen in the air that multi-cellular organisms need to survive right? How about California stop creating fires? I am not convinced the sun is doing it.
This is forest management 101" Bring back selective logging and crews like you and my buddies up here near Yosemite to clear the brush and save the forest & millions of dollars...!
Well a skid steer doing this work gets $6500 for a days work. I cant imagine what they are getting using this machine. Work a few months out of the year and you could be set
Killer machine. I'm also impressed at how quiet the cab is. When you run or work for a land clearing company, that cab is your office. There's good reason modern equipment has all the creature comforts. More comfort = more time in the operator's seat before fatigue sets in.
Cool video!! Land Management is so fun. The machines ,wether using skid steer or a dedicated machine, rock. Makes us men feel like boys again . I have added that service to my business and it just gets growing. . Keep up the good vids.. trucks, trailers, and machines good videos on all subjects.
That's a beast of a machine! So quiet in the cab and so productive. I'd pay you to come to work and drive that thing. Better than any ride at your local show. Cheers from Australia!!!
Awesome machine, I happened to notice that there was a four legged member of the team onboard as well! Had a crane course the other day together with a few other truckers and it turned out that we all had dogs….
Saw one of these parked along I-29 between Omaha, NE and Kansas City, Mo and you could just see the path of work. Crazy machine! And LOL love the doggo in the cab. Assuming he's there to supervise making sure the bigger trees are saved to pee on LOL
That is very impressive. I'm especially impressed by how quiet the cab is. Very quiet. Right now I would love to be able to afford a good skid steer and a good head on it. Have a great weekend and be safe.
I know the feeling I was in a similar position with my land but I ended up spending my saved money on a good used bulldozer. I am using it to clear and reshape the land as well. Got a great used 45,000 lbs machine for less than a skid steer and a mulching head. Might want to check into that.
I know a guy in central ca that runs one of those prime tech 300s. He runs a tracked chipper paired with it in areas where he’s going to take down a bunch of trees. The masticator or mulched will take down the tree and the tracked chipper with grapple arm then chips it. Saves a bunch of time versus the mulched trying to chip up the tree.
The best part of the entire thing was you have likely the biggest baddest ass mulcher out there and the sweetest dog breed in the front seat. I have mine sitting on my lap 🐶🤣.
Manzanita, primary fuel for a fast travelling fire. The manzanita burns high and hard and ladders it right up into the pine canopy. Once that happens in windy conditions, there is no fighting it. A friend of mine in malobu Canyon had a house with a swiming pool acting as a surge tank for a high volume sprinkler system. He still lost the house because the wind borne manzanita embers went right over the "wet zone" and his own landscaping burned back into the house. People out in the subrban areas that live along the brush areas need to learn more than stop, drop and roll..... A weekend spent learning fire safe practices on the cal fire website can save a lot of misery.
Or buy a dozer.. I am kidding of course even though I did but I live in south alabama big fires aren't common because it's so wet. What a job it must be to fight fires out there!
He did an impeccable job I love how he explained and he gave in-depth information priceless priceless video I want one of those things I bet you I would make good money
One of these just cleared a big piece of land near the high way where I live. At least a 500 foot by 500 foot piece of land. The machine then sat by the road for about a month. I'm guessing until they needed it at their next job. Plus I'm sure it was good advertising. I had never seen anything like it.
Man that thing is sick!!! I’m trying to get more into this work I live up in not cal foot hills and just got a brand new cat 299 D3 xe and man the toughest part is figuring out how to get the work
Its one way of dealing with brush fire fuel, mulches it then tills it into the ground, Its that or the land owners have to do spot controlled burns to get shot of the brush, looks as though it has a decent winch on the back if you need work a really steep slope.
Like you said, that 300 series Mulcher sure is an awesome machine. It can do so much, & in such a very short time span. I would certainly like to have one of those myself. I could get somuch done in such a very short time period, & get on to other jobs.
That machine is amazing. I did wildland fire 20yrs or so ago. Did a fire in SoCal, cut manzanita 15ft tall with a 20 man crew. That stuff kills saw chains, super hard, so it was more amazing to watch this machine rip thru it. I am looking into starting a business doing this. Can you please tell us what you charged for this job. It would help figure things. Per acre or something. Thanks and keep up the good work.
Wow, color me impressed! I live in a similar climate (Mount Shasta) and it seems like a large chunk of my life is spent dealing with manzanita, and I know how tough that crap is, that beast mows it down like grass! How often do you get poison oak working out in that stuff?
Its amazing how much brush is in there and what it takes to get it knocked down. I can remember doing that stuff as a teen with hand tools man that was hard work. These new machines are just awesome. I really hope the costs continue to come down on the equipment so it becomes far easier and more affordable for land owners to do this!! Nice work👍
I was told if i buy a mulcher it needs to at least 300hp for the slopes and species of brush we have here in WV ..... i looked at skid steer mulchers and even demoed one (I believe it was a Fecon head with Deere stickers) i wasnt impressed ..... we run disc cutters or bushogs on skid steers and do pretty good ..... then grub an burn with hoes what ever is left ..... love your videos and mulchers ..... i always thought all of CA was goobers im sure like they think all of WV is hillbillies LOL
Yesterday I was mulching branches with my 2000watt electric garden mulcher, imagining I was operating a large shredder the tree loppers use but jealous. Now I’m imagining the tree looper guys being jealous of these machines.
Sam it’s because of operators like you we in California can reduce fire danger and increase forest management. Great job and videos

Are you joking if not I agree
I would never have any practical use for one of these but I want one
You could rent it out if people need it
Well a skid steer doing this work gets $6500 for a days work. I cant imagine what they are getting using this machine. Work a few months out of the year and you could be set
lol exactly my thought
I'll 'chip' in a few dollars for some time in the seat! 😂
Anything is a practical use in 2021
Killer machine. I'm also impressed at how quiet the cab is. When you run or work for a land clearing company, that cab is your office. There's good reason modern equipment has all the creature comforts. More comfort = more time in the operator's seat before fatigue sets in.

I would love to see what that property looks like next spring. Great job and awesome video
Love the channel look forward to watching it every time a notification pops up🤜🏼.
That's a beast of a machine! So quiet in the cab and so productive. I'd pay you to come to work and drive that thing. Better than any ride at your local show. Cheers from Australia!!!
Freakin awesome video, it just blows my mind how much power those things have.
Thank you for posting this. Such disturbing crap in the world, I find this calming. It really is an amazing machine.
Awesome machine, I happened to notice that there was a four legged member of the team onboard as well!

As a surveyor who has cut his way through that stuff with chainsaws for 40 years here in the Sierra Foothills I can really appreciate this video
Thank you!

Living in Oregon. Great way to target areas of forest that has heavy plant fuels that dry out and catch fire.
Very impressive, awesome machine, great job! Thank you and best wishes.
Crazy how fast it recovers lol. That's gotta be a blast.

Fire break? Fantastic machine. Keep up the good work.
Best intro you have done yet! Keep it up!
I can't believe how quiet that is .... amazing

Beautiful machine! I hope to get in the clearing game myself with a disc mulcher. Maybe someday if i am blessed enough I can get this
Bro you got this just stay focused on what you want and how you are going to get there, everyday assess your plan 💯 may the Creator bless your way.
That is a unit! My brother and I do this with a skid steer and fae head. The finish you had after one pass was impressive.
Cleetus fan? Lol
@@dansexitstrategy5042 i love cleetus but why do u ask?
@@GonzoDonzo the wording of your comment. I was actually expecting the reply go be an enthusiastic HELL YEAH BROTHER! lol but yeah. Cleetus rocks🙌

I saw one of these mulching concrete pillars. What a beast
Y'all have awesome machines for sure. Good operators to boot! Dan right I subscribed! 😃
That’s a beast Sam. Awesome 👍
Great video, that voice over is great.
Keep it up you’ll be a mill before you know it!
Man, those mulches are just beast.
Man that thing is sick!!! I’m trying to get more into this work I live up in not cal foot hills and just got a brand new cat 299 D3 xe and man the toughest part is figuring out how to get the work
The right tool for the job is a beautiful thing. Maybe some GPS units with land maps would help you know where you are in those woods? Good video.
It's hard to believe they are worth the price until you see someone that knows what they are doing put in a day's work.
I feel like it leaves a somewhat recognizable trail!
Impressive machine and thanks for giving us the location that you are in the US... good ol California!!!

Good video. First time to see a monster like that.
I like prime tech would love to try one out. We have 3 cmi 300’s at work they are really nice too.
Great video, nice equipment to have . Have a great day
Having went through the Carr fire and Camp fire this is something that definitely needs to be done in NorCal.
Not just NorCal.
@Ronnie Deacon you guessed right. Nobody gives a shit.
@Ronnie Deacon and i've reported you for that mal ware spam yet again
@Soren Damon
In all the Dems ran shit. They love to love nature but can't manage it 😂😂😂
Hell yeah brother!!! Great stuff!!
Awesome mulching machine👍☕️🍩
Have u hugged your mulcher today. Great forestry management.
Like you said, that 300 series Mulcher sure is an awesome machine. It can do so much, & in such a very short time span. I would certainly like to have one of those myself. I could get somuch done in such a very short time period, & get on to other jobs.
You guys kick ass 🤘🏻 I love this industry
See the controls- an F-35 aircraft controls must be wonderful. That mulcher is nice...
These must be essential for clearing forest undergrowth and fire risk management. Creating cool zones is essential to fire management
Looks just like a tiger cat
That saving money also with no dump fees or hauling fees nice machine
Impressive machine and great job! Ready for the next video.
What a beast of a machine 😎👌
What a beast, and it’s so quiet. Thanks fr sharing Sam👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🇺🇸
If anyone is interested. The opening music of this video is by Grant Lamotte - Keep Walking.

That machine is amazing. This is now the best mulching machine that I've ever seen during my 19,345 days of living.
I though my Fendt 828 with FAE Umm DT 250 was badass... this is another level!
The ultimate lawnmower!
Equipment did a fine job.
Audible . . Audiobooks. Awsome way to.pass the time
At just under a half mill, I'm glad it comes with a dog!
Great video Sam 🇺🇲
Sam has a Dirt Perfect sweatshirt on. Mike Simon would be very proud!
Wow, color me impressed! I live in a similar climate (Mount Shasta) and it seems like a large chunk of my life is spent dealing with manzanita, and I know how tough that crap is, that beast mows it down like grass!

this is one of the the things i want but dont need BUT I REALLY WANT IT!!
Great video!
Near the weight of a D6t Caterpillar! Hell of a brush warhorse!
That’s one big unit.
Great Job Guys. Now, this is a fire prevention area. Now, where is Bigfoot going to hide?
Wow ! What a Machine ! 👍 👍
Boy this thing would make a mess of a group of protesters really clear them quickly
I agree, needed a few of them on January 6th.
ua-cam.com/channels/UheF3ebE26x_S-1SDTy1rg.htmlvideos
You mean antifa and blm
Would be great to clear out a couple of hectares of NRA nutcases with this.
Great for blm right before they start looting and burning down town businesses.
Nice and clean ! Good job 👌🏻
Damn it quite in the cab I was waiting for you to start it then you started moving everything
I AM IMPRESSED WITH YOUR PERFORMANCE HOW LONG IT WILL TAKE TO GET 50 ACRES DONE
Should turn these loose too control the fire danger in the western states! Thxs for sharing!
Dam that is a really nice machine
Nice machine! You should buy it!
From what I hear is good bye little primetech hello PT300
Will it work on parked cars .....lol.... Brilliant video ... Big thumbs flying high 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
That beast is serious man
that thing is a beast!!
You cleared the bushes out the lot to make look nice, soil got dried out then trees dehydrated. Fire claimed them.
Sounds clever but that’s not how it works. Lol
Wow. I am in awe of that GODZILLA of mulchers!!!
Nice machine. You might want to consider getting one.
So about 1000 of those to clear up the fuel load in Fire county in California would be nice.
Music is superb 🤘🏻again
Another great video! When you swapping the old 3500 to dually? Lol
Nice work👍
Lol.... dreaming. In BIDENS America you won’t own anything.
That machine is so big youve even got room for your doggo in the cab.
Holy hell that thing is a beast! I am amazed how it just rips through shit effortlessly.
|What a ripper
Dude, I didn't see any shit except trees. Do you call trees shit?? That's a new word to us here. God bless.
Amazing machine, i'm impressed, even your King Charles Spaniel likes it , i see. Bob. New Zealand.

That machine even has a Doggo pocket

Good Job!!!
Yesterday I was mulching branches with my 2000watt electric garden mulcher, imagining I was operating a large shredder the tree loppers use but jealous.
Now I’m imagining the tree looper guys being jealous of these machines.
Nice work BTW.
I think they make a PT 600.. That would have to be a monster 👹 😳
dang it i wanted to see what the gold mine air site looked like when u was done-oh well!
Two great beasts.
you know its a nice machine when there is space for your dog to ride along.
Heck u can hear urself think in that cab
