This is a beautiful thing. I am a young man on the autism spectrum and I’ve been training in Hapkido since I was 14 years old. I earned my first damn black belt at the age of 18 which happened a month after I graduated from high school. This past Saturday I have promoted to second-degree black belt, And I am a young man on the autism spectrum. Doctors told me that I was going to graduate high school at 22 years old, but I graduated high school at 18. Naysayers said I wouldn’t make it past yellow belt in Hapkido but here I am now a second-degree black belt

The interpretation of the black belt is rather different at many places. I suppose at this school black belt is the level of “trying hard long enough.”😊

Ok i love this i think its freaking awesome but I don't believe in giving kids black belts
BTW why do you say you teach karate but hang the Korean flag?
