I'd love to see a video with the best solo dauntless trials to get started to get on the leaderboard. I can think of two good reasons: no one likes that one, so if you win solo, you are in the top100 OR it is easy enough that you can try and you got some tipps to give us the edge :)
@@sinu9226 we got more people playing. The game is in a much better place, it still needs work sure, but the path it was going before would not have last.
I'll be honest, i liked most of reforged, (i only started laying again recently) but i honestly didn't like how you need to play axe and such (i honestly don't like slower weapons) to get better power after a certain point.
Yeah, they definitely need to give the veteran slayers some combat merits compensation or something like the aether hearts. And, to be honest, if the aetherhearts are tied to weapon reforging, then most veteran slayers (those that have lvl50 slayer mastery and stuff) must have most if not all of the reforges. .-.
And now you need also a LOT of island event hunting to actualy reforge or just go pay2win and buy sparks for cash. This change p2w sucks and changed my opinion on this quite nice game
1- pay2win in dauntless does not exist. Spending money does not gain you any competitive advantage that cannot be earned for free. It might be “pay2 grind less”, and plenty of free games implement that option. 2- the aethersparks changes are being reverted/being buffed to a similar level of what they were before

If sparks were dropping in some normal way, than ok, but since it requires player to stop and farm only events to actualy progress and get more power (or paying and getting more power instantly), it sux
(Additional development btw, aethersparks will no longer be available in the store upon frost escalation update) But Dauntless is not a "pay to win" game. To be a pay to win game, you HAVE to spend money, i.e. gain an advantage you otherwise could not earn for free, in the competitive format. Example - In War Dragons, a game I used to play, there were team events. You had a set amount of energy you could put toward these events, with a cooldown timer when you've spent it all. Through spending money, you could reset the cooldown timer on regaining energy early, meaning if you spent enough money, you would be able to outpace someone playing for free, no matter how much they tried. That is a pay to win game. Dauntless has no examples of this to speak of. Buying sparks (which again, will no longer be possible) would just save you some time in the overall goal, but doesn't give you any advantages in the competitive landscape of the game (and literally anyone at the top of the trials scene has only ever spent money on cosmetic items)
I have a bigger challenge, try not to get one shot with 6 toughness and 6 parasitic with nearly 2k life... Is it just me or is damage in the 18-20 zones really bugged for some bosses like shroud?
With power surged armor, Im usually taking around 300 damage each hit, except on riftstalker interrupts on that map. I’ve mostly seen shrowd in the high alert island event on that map, which is intended to be able to one hit you

Did maelstrom do another speedrun? In the one i watched he used bounty tokens to boost from lvl 19 to 20.

I dont think its a bug, shrowd is supposed to deal a lot of damage, and they said that now the power difference is way more important than before
