Regarding the whole telling someone you're moving/thinking about moving while you're dating them: I've had 3 dates tell me they were moving/thinking of moving while they were dating me: one already in the process of moving from New York to New Jersey when we first started talking, one that was planning on moving to Tel Aviv from New York and only told me that on the first and only date we had, and one that teased the possibility of moving to Arkansas during the date while we were walking and talking - first and only date we had. Obviously everyone has their own plans and choices to make regarding where they live whether you're in the picture or not (talking casual dating, not a serious, established relationship obviously). Could be for any number of financial, emotional or work-related reasons. Pandemic or economy not withstanding, I find it crazy I've had this experience twice where a guy mentions moving on the first date (and only) date we ended up having. In the case of the guy moving to Tel Aviv, it was for a medical residency, and the vibe I got was that he was basically trying to have more fun in New York while still living there. As for the guy thinking about moving to Arkansas, male friends of mine suggested "maybe he's trying to test the waters to see if you'll go with him". The Florida plot between Veronica and "Slim Shady" makes me think that's more valid. And I just find it strange. If anything, telling someone you're going to be moving while also trying to establish a relationship with them is a recipe for ending up without a relationship at all. For me, a guy saying they're planning on moving is basically a recipe for just being friends with the person or (in most cases), never seeing the person again. And now I'm starting to wonder if this is a new tactic guys try to use? I feel like these guys don't understand that not everyone can just uproot their lives to follow you around. Natalie would never have gone back to Michael if Josh had said I am here for you how can I help. Natalie thinks everyone in the world owes her, she is living with a friend and I doubt pays rent even. Michael should remember all the crap she did she is still just as crazy and that is not going to change. As soon as she got here her mind went to let me find husband #4. Good for Veronica but when he showed up with a herpes outbreak on his mouth it would have been a cancelled weekend, we could have gone out to dinner but no way sleep together. He is a jerk! I get what you mean, I'm always scared of giving up too quickly and then have the other person leave me after they get what they wanted. OMG. This happened to me! I was sick of guys who just wanted to hook up. Told guy on date 3 that I would only sleep with him if he wanted a relationship. We end up doing the slappy dance and then HE GHOSTED ME FOR A MONTH. NO RESPONSE TO MY TEXTS. Then one day he hits me up with a "hey girl, what's up?" I send multiple long texts about how he broke my trust and how I never wanted to see him again. He tried to apologize and hang out again but GIRLS. SAY NO. That man has no respect for you. I never saw him again.

Regarding the whole telling someone you're moving/thinking about moving while you're dating them:
I've had 3 dates tell me they were moving/thinking of moving while they were dating me: one already in the process of moving from New York to New Jersey when we first started talking, one that was planning on moving to Tel Aviv from New York and only told me that on the first and only date we had, and one that teased the possibility of moving to Arkansas during the date while we were walking and talking - first and only date we had.
Obviously everyone has their own plans and choices to make regarding where they live whether you're in the picture or not (talking casual dating, not a serious, established relationship obviously). Could be for any number of financial, emotional or work-related reasons. Pandemic or economy not withstanding, I find it crazy I've had this experience twice where a guy mentions moving on the first date (and only) date we ended up having. In the case of the guy moving to Tel Aviv, it was for a medical residency, and the vibe I got was that he was basically trying to have more fun in New York while still living there. As for the guy thinking about moving to Arkansas, male friends of mine suggested "maybe he's trying to test the waters to see if you'll go with him".
The Florida plot between Veronica and "Slim Shady" makes me think that's more valid. And I just find it strange. If anything, telling someone you're going to be moving while also trying to establish a relationship with them is a recipe for ending up without a relationship at all. For me, a guy saying they're planning on moving is basically a recipe for just being friends with the person or (in most cases), never seeing the person again. And now I'm starting to wonder if this is a new tactic guys try to use?
I feel like these guys don't understand that not everyone can just uproot their lives to follow you around. Your dick isn't so amazing that a girl you meet on date 1 will follow you around til you eventually get bored of each other. Moving to chase a guy or keep a guy you meet that early sounds like he just wants you there as an emotional support female with benefits, and who the hell would want that?!

Veronica is a very attractive and smart woman. I wish she wouldn't wear such a skimpy outfit, it really cheapens her. You can be very sexy and not show everything.
