Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers. They play all the hits, throw in a few cover tunes of songs that shaped his career, dropped a few hilarious stories, and played past the venue curfew. It just doesn’t get any better than that. RIP Tom Petty. I miss you man!
Folks this is a fun song in a unique songs by them, but there are so many great jams by these guys it’s unbelievable. Last dance with Mary Jane……… you got lucky…….etc etc
Stevie Nicks is also singing on certain parts…the “stop” is her…but due to contractual issues she wasn’t “allowed “ to be on the song but was anyway and Tom just kept it quiet….and Tom wrote Stop Dragging my Heart Around for her
I actually was an original employee of MTv (Manager of Finance) and the reason why they do not make videos like this anymore is because they are no longer profitable to make. A video like that costs a lot in production expenses and the royalties due to digital streaming are so little that you can NEVER make your money back after paying for the video. It is a sad thing. Digital streaming has killed the video star.
Hi friends: Wow Poland and Romania, explosive cocktail!! I have only recently been a subscriber to your channel but, before I dared to write, I have already seen enough reactions. The first ones that caught my attention were those by Mago de Oz, because like them I am also spanish, and it is rare to find reactions to spanish metal. But then I kept listening, listening... and I decided to stay and live on your channel if you allow me. Congratulations to your Patreon, Tony, because he is the one who requests music that is most in my style, although I go a little further than glam metal. In any case, it is metal from the 80s and 90s, which are the years of my youth. In this sense, I don't understand why haven't asked you for a reaction to "Stars by HEAR N' AID", which is like...the best of the 80s summed up in a single song. It was a charity record, like We Are the World, but in metal. Since I know you like Mago de Oz, I would recommend you "La Cantata del Diablo. Live en México DF" SPECTACULAR!. And, finally, I recommend another spanish rock song that for me is a lesson in how a song grows, grows and grows as musical arrangements are added, until they end up building it completely. This is "Autorretrato - EXTREMODURO" I leave you the links to these topics in case you are interested. ua-cam.com/video/qZktrrqT1A0/v-deo.htmlsi=usGZHx7JuN5GVDvv ua-cam.com/video/3eetVSwkpww/v-deo.htmlsi=gRp4Y-HNiKOsEp23 ua-cam.com/video/qwPSH2tq50E/v-deo.htmlsi=kz5Zv-Uop77JSBIY Keep up the good work and receive greetings from Spain. 🇪🇦❤️🇮🇩🇦🇩
Hello from Dan in brown deer Wisconsin , USA … I really enjoy your channel… I’m an old man who really enjoys music… it gets me emotional just as it does for you… check out this band from the 70’s they are called the AVERAGE WHITE BAND. the song I want you to listen too is called SCHOOL BOY CRUSH… please check this one out… it’s a funky jam that wont disappoint… keep up the great reactions , love them…
It's Alice in wonder land from the mad hatters perspective..keeping in the homage to the story and of course. White rabbit by Jefferson Airplane...enjoy friends.
I loved the song! I do believe the video takes away from the way the song impacts on its own. But of course, I'm relating to how it made me feel while listening to it on the radio back in the day.
Classic stuff from a true legend 🎩💘 For other Very Cool Tom Petty & THB videos, checkout 'Into the Great Wide Open', which stars Johnny Depp & Faye Dunaway. Also checkout 'Walls' which stars Jennifer Aniston. Both classic TPTHB songs & videos! ✌️❤️🇦🇺🦘
The old videos were great. A lot of work…..now some are just shaking their butts, cars and flashing money. No skills. A real artist..singer, songwriter, composer and instrumentalist. You didn’t call this young lady you said I think I remember this video and he has a big hat…..you were right
The song is not as great as the video. His music is great, and this one is catchy, but not his greatest. The video was made for the song at a time when MTV and video dance parties and megascreens were in all the bars. It was a video revolution. Also Dave Stewart from the Eurythmics is the caterpillar. The Eurythmics “Sweet Dreams” with Dave Stewart and Annie Lennox is another great one to east to.
Tom Petty Always Loved, Never Forgotten Forever missed

Way ahead of it's time.A masterpiece and the vocals are top notch
One of my favorite songs from Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers
Alice in wonderland is the basis for the video and Tom Petty makes the perfect Mad Hatter ✌️
Tom is and was so inventive, 🙏 RIP, LOVE ❤️ his music 🎶 😊
The Alice in wonderland theme is fantastic

Watch Tom live. A totally different experience. The way Tom interacts with an audience is something to behold.
Peter Gabriel has a number of fascinating music videos, like Sledgehammer, Big Time and Kiss That Frog and of course Don't Give Up with Kate Bush.

lol love it.
Love the song so much.
You should really try Tom Petty and Stevie Nicks - Stop Draggin' My Heart Around
It's Alice in wonder land from the mad hatters perspective..keeping in the homage to the story and of course. White rabbit by Jefferson Airplane...enjoy friends.
The video, as the song, came out in 1985. 🙂
I loved the song! I do believe the video takes away from the way the song impacts on its own. But of course, I'm relating to how it made me feel while listening to it on the radio back in the day.
I ignored the song's title and came back.
😂
Definitely deserves 2 Thumbs Up for that comment
Ha good one!
Great Group! ❤
Go back to the beginning of Tom Petty and the HeartBreakers. You’ll love it 🤘🤘
Thus is where their original drummer was being squeezed out by a drum machine at Tom's insistence.

It's a take off of Alice in Wonderland.
Although pretty much everything he did was good, I much prefer his earlier music. American Girl, Refugee etc.
YAY! I **Luv** this song & The awesome Alice In Wonderland Crazy Theme heh Weeee **PixieTwirlsAtopAMushroom**
Just curious ... what or who is moving the coat or blanket behind you?
Tea for one by Led Zeppelin please ❤
Tom was going through an Alice in Wonderland phase.
One of my favs..Tom petty..but not your original recipe..a little psychedelic.
Add a little weed and stir! Hehe

I didn’t like the Petty era when he went synth. Lost his character.
