Before starting el camino santiago pilgrimage, we have been doing full time vanlife in the UK in our luton camper van conversion, but just days before this video it broke down and looks like it needs yet another new engine
With UK vanlife over we plan to spend the next 5 weeks trekking across France and Northern Spain to Santiago Compostela on this ancient pilgrimage to the bodily remains of St James

I do feel the company that supplied the engine should be held responsible. Head gaskets should not blow for many thousands of miles, if the engine has been assembled properly.

My dear dad walked and then biked the Camino years ago. I didn't understand the significance of what he was doing back then, his sense of wanderlust, that he kept all throughout his life. I haven't followed anyone's journey doing the trail before, so as a recent and very happy subscriber to your channel I'm looking forward to seeing what it's really like! Many thanks and good luck xxx

Really think you have made the right decision to get away, please don’t let incorrect footwear spoil it for you, it’s a long way and a lot of steps, care for your feet and you will be fine, tired weary but fine, go for it!!

I literally have anxiety about Liam’s footwear and the impact on his feet and hips.. I’ve done 60 miles in 24 hours before and footwear is so important 😮
You videos are pure escapism for me. I can't go away for 5hrs without planning every detail and making sure I am prepared for all weathers, so watching you guys go away for 5 weeks (I think?) wearing sandals to hike all day and with no rain jackets on in the pouring rain blows my mind. I love to watch just how laid back and free spirited you guys are, it's all so different to how I do life and I'm inspired to definitely let go... a little bit... but still with my raincoat and walking shoes 😆 Looking forward to following your journey!

My daughter has literally just done the camino with a 6 month old baby so their luggage was forwarded every day. They never had a problem. Good luck with the rest of the trip.

So fantastic that you’re walking the Camino. I’ve wanted to do this for year but will probably never have the time - so it’s wonderful to be able to experience it vicariously through you both.

I’m gutted for you guys and the problems you are having with the van but this journey brings you back to what life is really all about.

I believe (hope) he is wearing a pair of those 'barefoot' shoes/sandals, they are designed for comfortable walking and running.

Brilliant, go for it, been looking to cycle it, hopefully late summer, early autumn next year, I worked with a guy who did it, he said he’d cry with painful knees most mornings, he was doing 20 miles a day, but he completed it.

I have wanted to do the Camino for years. Recently had a hip replacement and so I am working towards being able to do it soon! Buen Camino!
El Camino de Santiago de Compostella is on my bucket list. The BBC did a programme about it with celebrities of different faiths and without faith to see how they felt. Although the walk was originally Catholic, I understand that the spiritually of the walk is enjoyed by anyone. All the time spent in nature giving you time to contemplate what is important and future goals. I’ll be avidly watching and hoping you are finding some peace of mind and not worrying too much about Morgan. Buen Camino. Stay safe and happy travels xx

I live in Madrid so although I have never contemplated this endeavour, I know afew folks that have. I 've only ever heard positive things about this Camino.

Great adventure. I live close to Fatima in Portugal and see all the pilgrims walking to the church in town. There are hundreds, if not thousand coming from all directions on one of the holidays. The church is the second biggest one after the Vatican, so the huge parking lots are well filled up.
