Great presentation. Simple, concise comments for corner situations that have become rather complex with the coming of AI’s. The use of concepts near the end is great learning tool. Looking forward to more of your videos.
In my games, I'm typically well connected through the middle and take more stones than my opponent, but ultimately lose because I haven't captured enough corner/side territory..... since I'm well aware that I don't know what the hell I'm doing and lack the courage to invade. So even as a beginner, I feel this lesson is exactly what I needed, as it gives me both confidence to at least try some corner invasions and ideas about how to better repel them.
Thanks so much , really useful -- as ever a clear and helpful commentary. As a DDK player I often get a bit lost in mid-game, when I can't work out what the biggest move is or if I should build, defend or attack. So any thoughts on that sort of thing would be appreciated! in any future videos!
That's the hardest part - there's sort of an intuition that develops as you get more good quality games under your belt. Ill put that on the list for future videos! Thanks!
I appreciate that so much! Nothing bad - I just took some time to work on other projects, my career, life, etc hahaha. I made a video about it a few weeks ago - you can catch up on the specifics there!

thank you for the content of this video. As a 12 kyu it was very enlightening
How do you play as the invader if all you want to do is live so as to reduce territory, and don't care about anything else?
This video was very helpful! Thank you!
Could you do a video on how to build a base when invading ?
That could be a great topic! Invasions can be very tricky, I'll put it on the list!
Well done and welcome back. More, please.
