When I used this product at the begging it had a lot of HOLD too....so I understand what you are saying but upon trying this product another time around I was very careful in keeping it at a minimum. Instead of it being a negative thing now I feel like A LITTLE BIT OF PRODUCT GOES A LONG WAY. I also would put a little in my hand and added some water. And the price of this product is awesome... less than $6. Worth the try. And the best part is... 1 product is enough!. I got many compliments on the way my hair looked....for now I am a fan.

Hey ladies. I love the results on both of you. Plenty of times when people use creams by itself, there is a huge possibility of frizz. Considering the fact that you got those results by just using a cream, I’d say the product is really good. I think you’d get super bomb results using a gel along with the cream. It’s food for thought. Keep in mind that we are our worst critics. LoriAnne, someone once told me that a bobby pin is a curly girl’s best friend. It’s so true! You look like a gorgeous 🦁. Sport them beautiful curls.

I still have super transitioning hair but this seemed to make a huge difference! I agree with the crazy cast! The first time I used it I used too much so that flakyness was real. The Ouidad Meltdown mask works wonders for my curls. It does self warm but it makes the curls feel more structured and pop more. I'd have loved to have seen your experience and results.
I swear it never looks like you ladies have a bad hair day. Another product I would like to try. I love a firm hold, makes 7 day wash no go for me. Love your results as usual. But what is the smell like, I heard about the oil but not the cream.

Lol....the first time I used Quidad Meltdown, I had a meltdown in the shower after I put it in my hair. Wherever the product touched got warm, my neck was really hot/red and a little bit got on my face and I got really scared and rinsed it out. I got in touch with Quidad and they explained that it was supposed to get warm. So the following week I tried again, it did get warm but it was tolerable and I did like the results. I have well water too and when I use the Quidad Superfruit Clarifying Cream Shampoo I use Cleansing Oil Shampoo right behind it so my hair does not feel stripped. I know LoriAnne that you love the cleansing oil shampoo,so next time you need to clarify use the cleansing oil shampoo as your wash. I prefer some cast to be leftover after I shake out my hair, my wash and go will last longer and I always use a little bit of jojoba oil to scrunch out my hair. I think both of your hair is very defined, and looks good. Can you please review the rest of the line? Thanks for sharing.

I never felt the heat from the melt down. I had melt down kind of suds up (to much products) as if I put shampoo in my hair. I love the melt down, probably never went over 5 minutes though. First time use I was on the fence but now I won't let it run out. Agadir had a treatment with keratin Argan Oil I use to like more. I was really surprised you two went high end to low end with that styler.

I don't super love Ouidad... And I have tried the clarifying shampoo and it is crazy drying!! My hair doesn't like the deep conditioners from them either. I do love the clarifying shampoo by deva curl, the build up buster. I can tell it cleans my hair from all the excess product but It doesn't strip my hair which I love.
Nikki Lope Yes, the Ouidad clarifying shampoo definitely did the job. It did leave my hair rather dry but I would still use it again because the purpose of the chelating shampoo is what I need. We have hard well water so I’m willing to suffer through the dryness......it’s a means to an end. 😊-LoriAnne

I was excited to go out and buy that product but then you guys said it’s not curly girl friendly lol when I was first transitioning I didn’t care about silicones but I didn’t want to use sulfates because I was in the process of bringing moisture back into my hair and now I’m 9 months in almost 10 and I decided to also drop silicones and I am noticing that my hair is feeling way more healthy but I’m missing my 3 minute miracle lol

I had high hopes for this product when I received it but I thought the cast was ridiculous too and I don’t like that at all. It’s definitely not crunch free. Makes my curls too tight and I’m trying to get my curls to elongate and fall more. This product retracted my curls so tight. I used it with the leave in from this line. I didn’t get the serum though. Maybe I will try them separately to see if there is a difference. Thanks for the review ladies. 👍🏽Your hair did come out great though!
Chef CurlyBakes The serum Made all the difference for me. You saw all my end poses. My hair was big and cast free all because of that serum. It made all the difference. This line is so overwhelming because it has too many products. But we can recommend the 2 we used in this video to get started on 🤓🦁➰
Yes! We were pretty shocked by the hold, today on day 2 our curls were still intact with very minimal frizz so that is a plus to that crazy cast, more longevity for sure! We could see our hair going another couple of days!

No we did not. The “One&Done” series is all about just using one product. So the product was the Curling Creme by itself. There was no flaking at all. 😊

Anyways, so I got Aunt Jackies Curl la la (never heard of) and Taliah Waajid's Curl Sealer and I'd love to know how Mad curls feels about them. If possible and don't mind, maybe mom can use one and Taylorann use the other idk. Lol....the first time I used Quidad Meltdown, I had a meltdown in the shower after I put it in my hair. Wherever the product touched got warm, my neck was really hot/red and a little bit got on my face and I got really scared and rinsed it out. I got in touch with Quidad and they explained that it was supposed to get warm. So the following week I tried again, it did get warm but it was tolerable and I did like the results. I have well water too and when I use the Quidad Superfruit Clarifying Cream Shampoo I use Cleansing Oil Shampoo right behind it so my hair does not feel stripped. I know LoriAnne that you love the cleansing oil shampoo,so next time you need to clarify use the cleansing oil shampoo as your wash. I prefer some cast to be leftover after I shake out my hair, my wash and go will last longer and I always use a little bit of jojoba oil to scrunch out my hair. I think both of your hair is very defined, and looks good. Can you please review the rest of the line? Thanks for sharing.

I never felt the heat from the melt down. I had melt down kind of suds up (to much products) as if I put shampoo in my hair. I love the melt down, probably never went over 5 minutes though. First time use I was on the fence but now I won't let it run out. Agadir had a treatment with keratin Argan Oil I use to like more. I was really surprised you two went high end to low end with that styler.

I wanted to try my new Chelating clarifying shampoo and I felt that the Ouidad Meltdown Conditioner would really moisturize my hay like hair. But I completely get your point -LoriAnne

We enjoy our curly hair tutorials, so we think we have found our niche. When we are not filming in which is very rare these days we use our favorite products for wash and goes . LoriAnne’s favorite brands are Camille Rose Naturals, Jane Carter Solutions and CurlMix. TaylorAnne’s favorite brands are Shea Moisture, Jane Carter Solutions and the Mane Choice. I don't super love Ouidad... And I have tried the clarifying shampoo and it is crazy drying!! My hair doesn't like the deep conditioners from them either. I do love the clarifying shampoo by deva curl, the build up buster. I can tell it cleans my hair from all the excess product but It doesn't strip my hair which I love.
Nikki Lope Yes, the Ouidad clarifying shampoo definitely did the job. It did leave my hair rather dry but I would still use it again because the purpose of the chelating shampoo is what I need. We have hard well water so I’m willing to suffer through the dryness......it’s a means to an end. 😊-LoriAnne

I was excited to go out and buy that product but then you guys said it’s not curly girl friendly lol when I was first transitioning I didn’t care about silicones but I didn’t want to use sulfates because I was in the process of bringing moisture back into my hair and now I’m 9 months in almost 10 and I decided to also drop silicones and I am noticing that my hair is feeling way more healthy but I’m missing my 3 minute miracle lol

I had high hopes for this product when I received it but I thought the cast was ridiculous too and I don’t like that at all. It’s definitely not crunch free. Makes my curls too tight and I’m trying to get my curls to elongate and fall more. This product retracted my curls so tight. I used it with the leave in from this line. I didn’t get the serum though. Maybe I will try them separately to see if there is a difference. Thanks for the review ladies. 👍🏽Your hair did come out great though!

Yes! We were pretty shocked by the hold, today on day 2 our curls were still intact with very minimal frizz so that is a plus to that crazy cast, more longevity for sure! We could see our hair going another couple of days!

Anyways, so I got Aunt Jackies Curl la la (never heard of) and Taliah Waajid's Curl Sealer and I'd love to know how Mad curls feels about them. These days it’s hard to see how many days we can get from products because we pretty much are testing and reviewing products daily. But I can only tell you that after a long night of sleeping on my hair unprotected that curl definition was fine...unbothered. But that was only one night. But it really is a firm hold. 🤓🦁
