The Stratos has no right to be quick enough to keep up with long boats, but it does. It cruises easily at 3.5knots The only problem here in Ireland is everyone has one and it can be tricky to find my boat amongst the school of stratos's Great wee boat
Loverly boat to oaddle. 4 days on the Great Glen Canoe Trail in some very strong winds and it was a gem. Carries a lot of gear too.
Yes it performs just as well as a long grp sea kayak. The Great Glen is on my wish list, I'm sure you had a great time.
Was that 12.5 or the 14.5 you used on the Great Glen Canoe Trail?
