There are two paths for Sales in Software Companies. One is to start in Software Development and then move into Sales after a few years of experience. Another is to become a Business Analyst in some Software Company. Management depends on the path. Whether you want to get into Project Management roles or you want to get into Operational Management. These are different things. Generally the starting point remains same. To first get into a Software Company as fresher in any field. It can be Development, Support or QA. Then from there learn things about software business and move into Management or sales after few years of experience.

Yes, based on your experience in Banks. You can certainly become a BA in the FinTech or BFSI sector. There will be requirement for people like you who have first hand experience of the industry. But you will certainly have to do some certification that can qualify you for BA specific roles.

You can learn PM in software and then start as a PM. Other options are Business Analyst, Quality Assurance or Data Analysis.

Money depends on what value you can create. If you are thinking to get into IT. Then what skills do you have that make you valuable in this industry. This will be important for you to think. Remember money is only an exchange for the value you create. It does not matter which industry you work in if you can create value then you will get more money in return.

During my MBA course through on-campusing I have got a job in HDFC bank...now I am running 3yrs in the same organisation...I have gain lot of experience in banking but right now I'm very honest, I'm not happy with my salary and not happy with my target oriented job profile....as I heard about IT or tech sector from my friends I am very much interest to swich myself in there and improve my salary and as I know I am capable for this....but don't know how to do this....can u suggest me the right way and the right company to swich?
Salaries are a problem in every industry. 80% of people dont get the salaries they deserve. Only 20% people get. There are many factors. But in IT Industry you will have to start all over again. Also the salary you are looking for may be possible only if you have amazing skills. So you have to do some research and see how much efforts are required to get the salary you want and then decide.

If you were already in IT industry then you can go to a similar track or you can pick some certifications which can be helpful to get back to IT. Depending on your gap from IT things might have changed. So it is easier if you pick some skills before joining IT.

If you already have these certificates then you try to find a job through some reference. Ypu can also try in your bank itself.
