you try too hard, feels like you're convincing yourself more than me tbh
but u did get the bag from something else than shadow raid legends, gg
That's what resonant is all about though, overhyping and clickbaiting rubbish lol.
@@MundusMeus974 can't believesomeone can be passionate about such soulless content. but whatever brings him dough i suppose
This isn’t 1990 I can’t do grid city builders anymore.
I just downloaded the demo! Thanks Resonant!
Only 90 degree roads in 2024 = not buying it.
seems kinda cool, only i don't understand: ther's a night/day cycle?
I wonder if this can run in my laptop
Thank you for the thorough explanation of the gameplay! Great Video!
Great video. Love that you are showing off such an exiting looking gem, that haven't gotten so much attention yet. Im a big fan of medieval city builders myself.
It looks like they’re trying to be like manor lords
yea
hmmm, interesting game
Nothing kills hype like “fantasy elements”
Exactly thats why i hated total wars war hammer phase now they aren’t the same anymore
shit take.
Fantasy elements give the player diversity and replayability.
Everyone more or less behaves the same in total war shogun 2, while skaven behave dramatically different from greenskins in Warhammer 2, giving the player an actual diversity of gameplay experiences and a reason to replay.
@@monarchco Imagine a world where some people enjoy historic setting. Pure. Historic. Setting. I know, mind blown. And TW : WH were all trash. All of them, just like every Total War that isn't 100% historical.
I feel like to faithfully represent the medieval period you HAVE to include some “fantasy elements”. Their world wasn't a fantasy world, but they didn't know that. For 13th century Pole magic and demons were a real thing you had to worry about, and camels were no less fantastical then unicorns. You can't really get the player into the world if you can't get the player thinking in this way as well. There's a balancing act to include just enough of that stuff to get you into the period without succumbing to the temptation to be Tolkienesque.
@@captainharlock3998 you can like whatever you want dude. But claiming fantasy "kills" a game is fucking stupid.
Total war was a tiny niche game that skyrocketed in popularity with Warhammer, and that's just one example of fantasy being generally more popular than realistic. Certainly not fucking "killing" a game by being fantasy.
Another gridlike game?…nope
Nah i dont know but this game looks like a Mobile game and this old Grid building typ is a big no for me
I’m very sorry but the second I see grid systems in city builders I lose all interest.
It gives me old school RTS nostalgia tbh. Nothing wrong with it, and it makes things look nice. But I do suppose it limits you if your imagination can't work alongside it
What else is there? You either get grid or hexagonal or maybe octagonal
Me too
@@xyronox Ostriv, Colonize, Manor Lords.
You're trying to hard, the game is clearly one of the most average medieval city builders under the sun, I know it's your content but you don't need to act like every game that isn't from a well known franchise is the best thing under the sun and full of potential, I am unsubscribing
