BMW M4 CSL:
Combined fuel consumption: 10.1-9.9 l/100 km. Combined CO2 emissions: 227-224 g/km. All data according to WLTP.

Front: 275/35R19 Michelin Pilot Sport Cup2R
Rear: 285/30R20 Michelin Pilot Sport Cup2R
Official data on fuel consumption and CO2 emissions were determined in accordance with the mandatory measurement procedure and comply with Regulation (EU) 715/2007 valid at the time of type approval. In case of a range, figures in the WLTP take into account any optional equipment. For newly type-tested vehicles since 01.01.2021, the official data no longer exist according to NEDC, but only according to WLTP. it also weighs more than some mountains
911 GT3 costs little more than M4 CSL and did it in 6:59, BMW should lose some weight.

People who actually drive Nürburgring can appreciate the bonkers traction of that car. The speed in a few corners blew my mind.
Absolutly happy to be able to drive those quality cars with my M3 comming this Dec.
Though, the car is still to heavy, which results in a lap time no way near a GT3 RS.
Still a freakin great job.
not even that much about the weight, the chassis itself is at a disadvantage, the porsche sits lower, has a spoiler, isn't front engined and has wider tracks + more aerodynamic with DRS

For a car without side vents like the black series and gt3 rs or a huge wing this thing is incredible probably have to use more skill to control it too than the other Two cars...absolutely love bmw
I have a track pack GT500 and got to drive a friends M4csl around a track. It made my car feel stupid. Was so well balanced.
Great BMW! We are waiting for the appearance of productive versions of M5, M8 GC, X5M, X6M, XM Label Red, on this track.

This cannot be true that it is a record, it is an outright lie.
We all know BMW lies about horsepower in their cars, so why wouldn't they lie about this.
The Chevrolet Camaro is a middle class segment car just like the BMW M4 CSL, they are similar in weight and length and HP/Weight ratio.
The only difference is the price, the Camaro costs $60,000 the BMW M4 CSL costs $180,000 that's three times as much and yet it's slower... imagine if you took the remaining $120,000 and tuned the Camaro for the money... then you'd get a monster for the same money as the M4 CSL and the BMW M4 CSL would feel excruciatingly slow.

The Chevrolet Camaro lapped the Nordschleife in an astonishing 7:16.04 on Goodyear Eagle F1 street tires.... that's more than 2 seconds faster than the BMW M4 CSL and 2 seconds in racing terms is an eternity. Imagine if the Chevrolet Camaro was also on super sticky Michelin Pilot Sport Cup2R...woow

BMW go for fastest sedan record and I feel still that BMW M4 CSL can beat AMG GTR lap. Its faster car on the stright line, change the driver or change tires for wider cup 2R the same wide as AMG GTR. BMW makes the best cars and I believe in them !
