      Lisa Oppa they would stay the same weight but they won't lose weight or they would lose a bit in a long time , diet is the most important thing to lose weight , but if you eat normal and exercise , you'll just maintain your current weight.
      Diet is more important than exercising but that doesn't mean that people should just do diet and not exercise.
      Losing weight is a new life style , to maintain it you need to change lots of your habits.

    I remember when we had recess we used to have jump rope competitions. Kids would try to beat the “high score”. The high score was the most amount of continuous jumps without messing up. And we would run laps for the first 20 minutes of PE every week. It was really fun though! Wish I could feel that way about exercise now.

      We had this exact same routine when i was in elementary it would always be 20 minutes of laps and then just do an activity and for the last minutes of p.e just do anything basically. And we always had either running competitions or jumping rope competitions i was more known for jumping rope since well, you could say i had the score nobody could beat always near the 100's and almost near 200's. This video is giving me inspiration to go back to jumping rope since 1 i really miss it and 2 i would like to lose some weight so i guess this could be an option for me :')

  • @missSDW
    @missSDW 6 років тому +2647

    Some of the questions they're asking really rubs me the wrong way. It's almost like they want to have her say how much she hated herself for something. "Take us back to when you were looking for a prom dress and how disappointed you were"?? That's just a really odd thing to ask

    • @JumpRopeDudes

    • @elianaharmes1864
      @elianaharmes1864 6 років тому +184

      I don’t think that was necessarily the intention. I think they were trying to have her think back to when she was big & buying a prom dress & some of her darker times to recognize how far she has come. Also notice how they finished the question with asking her what she would tell herself. It’s to take a moment to look back & feel proud/express how great she feels now compared to then.

      @@JumpRopeDudes I understand there wasn't any ill intent just felt really cringey. Possibly b.c. the flow of the interview it felt like you were pulling it out of her instead of feeling like something she wanted to dig into. Besides that I like what you guys are doing. Jump Rope Dudes maybe find a way to edit in her talking about it without showing the question... hate myself for this reference but on the Bachelor, you never hear the questions the producers are asking them, so it seems like they’re electing on their own to share this information without too much prodding, but of course they’re being asked. That way, people don’t get distracted basically. She obviously was here to tell her story, and y’all were just helping move it along 🙄

    Don't ever think jumping rope will magically make you lose weight. You NEED TO PUT IN THE WORK.
    1. Change your lifestyle and mindset. STOP BEING LAZY AND STICK TO A BETTER LIFESTYLE.
    2. Stop expecting to lose weight overnight. It takes time but it's worth it.
    3. Have a body goal chart on your bedroom wall as motivation. You don't have to look EXACTLY like Kendall or Hailey tho.
    4. STICK TO A HEALTHY DIET. YOU DON'T NEED TO STARVE YOURSELF. JUST EAT HEALTHY. I USED TO HAVE A ROASTED CHICKEN, VEGGIES, BROCCOLI SALAD AND ORANGE JUICE AND OTHER DAYS HAVE SPINACH SALAD,ROASTED POTATOE, MEAT AND BREAD. IT'S ABOUT GETTING ENOUGH PROTEIN, VITAMINS. (THOSE WERE JUST A FEW EXAMPLES OF MY MEALS)
    5. You don't need to work out for hours on end!!! Have breaks and exercise like an hour and have three hours break and exercise again.
    Be committed.

      You want to lose 15 pounds so right there, you are pointing out that you are VERY different from her. She can do it. She did it. You can do the same thing!

    So after watching many of videos and finally being motivated to get my shit together; I'll be tracking down my weight loss journey here.
    I'll be starting slow and only jump 5-10 minutes a day until my body gets more used to working out.
    Initially I started yesterday (250220) and I only managed to endure 5 minutes.
    Today is day 2 and my calves are somewhat aching.
    Today I also jumped a bit over 5 minutes.
    Start weight/Current weight: 86kg
    I'll update every 2 weeks.

    • @kakyoinsfsb
      @kakyoinsfsb 4 роки тому +15

      - UPDATED RESULTS -
      Edit: The two weeks of IF and jump rope didn't quite work for me.
      IF surprisingly made me gain weight and by the 10th I was weighing 88-89kgs. Obviously I'm going to continue skipping rope but my food intake most definitely needs to change.
      I suggest counting calories -something that I didn't do during IF-. And another thing; please eat healthy meals.
      I personally don't have any access to fast food, ALTHOUGH since I personally know how to cook, I must have underestimated what I've been eating (calorie wise).
      WEIGHT LOSS:
      01.03.20: 85.5kg
      10.03.20: 88-89kgs

    Diet Diet Diet!!!!! and workout three times a week. Didn't watch this whole thing but did she mention her diet. What you eat is way more important than a lot of exercise. A person should be able to stop exercising and still not gain any weight or atleast no more than a few pounds because of their diet. Eat nutritiously and the weight is history for most people. A lot of people exercise really hard and consistently but their diet is too high in calories and filled with non nutritional food.

      True. I work at a fitness company now and it has a gym and it's great, but I haven't been able to meal prep at all yet so my weight pretty much just stays the same. The only reason I haven't had time to meal prep is I'm working jobs after work and on the weekend to pay down debt and I'm basically living off PB&J...it's okay I have about 3 more weeks left till I'm caught up on that so then I can meal prep again.

    I had a baby 6 months ago, was bigger all my life and now I’m seriously not happy with myself because I’m close to 300lbs now. I’ve had a “skipping rope” for 3 years in storage, brand new. I always thought I couldn’t because I’m too “heavy” to jump. I started today because of this video, I didnt do it long tho only 5 mins but I’m giving myself grace because today is my first day. I wanna be able to play with my daughter at the playground by the time she turns 2 years old. That is my goal.
