How many times apps shut down in the middle of my running, really frustrating especially when you're starting out so just use the timer of your phone that will do perfectly. 4) Running alone is far more productive than running with friends of course if someone wants to join you you're free to accept but running alone is really therapeutic and reenergizing. If you want to run alone, forget about music I find it quite distracting and as a beginner plus hearing your breathe will help you tremendously then running with no headphones prevents any incidents like being hit by a car, people coming from behing... 5) Mixing up trails. Not only for your safety but changing trails will help you burn more calories depending on how hilly or straight your trail is. 6) For some reasons, I find having a good running gear really important. I wish I could be one of those people putting on an old hoodie and go for a run but nope so what I like to do is having a really tight gym pants with an oversize hoodie and an old t-shirt underneath paired with a baseball cap. If you're running and constantly plucking your clothes it won't help you, you know. 7) when it comes to food, I feel really reluctant to give you any advice as I'm not a nutritionist but here's what I've carried out and what worked. You should really consult a doctor before carrying out any big changes into your diet - I don't drink any coffee or sodas ( just don't like them especially coke I find the taste quite disconcerting, quite chemical) - I eat dairy free due to my allergies. - I eat meat only once a week, for two reasons first it's quite costly, second it can be really fatty. - Fish is your best friend, of course having fresh fish is a luxury but canned fish can be as luxury as fresh fish. When I'm going groceries I like to stock up on canned anchovies unsalted and salted, maquereau, sardines, tuna, hareng and I'm the happiest gal. - Your pantry is important too, get rid of canola oil and invest in some good quality olive oil with salt and fresh pepper. It will change your life I promise. When it comes to spices, get the essentials on pinterest you'll find some boards with what to get and if you really want the things you only need take a look at different recipes you likes depending on the style of cuisine and try to spot the most common spices and condiments used. - If your pantry is well stock up, you won't need to buy as many processed foods and frozen meals. It means that at groceries you'll have just to get the fruits and veggies along with some garlic, onions, shallots and herbs.. - For breakfast I have the same thing everyday oatmeal with a soy yogurt and a hot cocoa. When I'm feeling fancy Ill take a slice of bread with peanut butter and Jelly. - things I eat during the week are dashi, pissaladière, veggie soup, salads, egg salads, sandwich, pasta caccio e pepe.. But with moderation when my stomach is like I'm full, I listen and stop eating. Finally, avoid running without eating first I've tried and I almost fainted.. Get a good hearty breakfast if you're a morning runner or a good snack if you want to do this midday. All in all, avoid greasy and fatty foods as running with heat burns ain't pleasing. Last but not least, at the beginning you'll feel the need to stop because of fatigue but try your best to get pass the pain even if it means having a slower pace. Then don't be too greedy, start slowly but surely with two or three times a week. Good luck 🇫🇷🍀😎

Thank you for being a considerate neighbor and being mindful of others. Your neighbors can make or break it for you. Hi I am Joseph, I am 110 Kg and 163 cm (~ 5’4”) and yesterday, I made the first step decision to get a jumping rope not knowing anything about it and today I started my first exercise and let me tell you I really sucks the first shut in the park in the grass and having people looking at me I felt uncomfortable and I stopped and I went back home and after looking your video, my goodness I felt more confident and I finally got the grip and I didn’t done 1,000 pieces like you did but I did started and that is all I wanted and I will adopt my diet to vegetarian and I have been practicing for a while and now I got the grip there as well and I will adopt my meal plans to 1,500 calories a day spread out over 3 meals and see from there how it goes and I am 50 years old. Thanks for making my journey more fun Joseph ( Toronto, Canada)
Hey Joseph I recommend not switching to a veggie diet. Meat protein is more filling and is very, very good for you. I would instead focus very heavily on eating only unprocessed, one ingredient foods. Do not order food from outside. Limit dairy. No processed carbs. No oil unless it’s extra virgin olive oil or avacado oil. Please eat fish and meat. Also for overweight people the issue generally is with the relationship with food. I recommend eating only when you are hungry. And completely SHUTTING down the impulse to eat when you are procrastinating/bored/emotional. They lied to us when they told us we need 3 meals a day. We only need 2, MAXIMUM. Your weight will fall off you if you follow my advice.

I've done it for months, years, and my PT friend tells me not to. Should do it in moderate, say 200 or 300 per day in the beginning, and do that for couple of months (for half a year); and then build up. Else you get injury - ankle, knee, joints etc. Good cardio, nonetheless. Good job.

You should really consult a doctor before carrying out any big changes into your diet
- I don't drink any coffee or sodas ( just don't like them especially coke I find the taste quite disconcerting, quite chemical)
- I eat dairy free due to my allergies.
Thank you for this message, it made me laugh but it was also very encouraging ❤️

As someone who has lived in an apartment and had a very inconsiderate and rude neighbor above me who didn't give a shit that he had people below him, I just want to say thank you. Thank you for being a considerate neighbor and being mindful of others. Your neighbors can make or break it for you. I've always been considerate of the people around me and could never understand why some can't extend the same courtesy? Just thought I'd say that! Last time I jumped rope was elementary school. I was in an after school program called Skippers. I thought I was so cool haha

We had a day where we all jumped and there were different stations. Long jump, single, double Dutch and tricks. I think the gym teacher is supposed to be in charge of that. My kids still do it at school.
Omg yes we did it at school but I remember us doing it for more than a day lol i feel like it was a month haha.
Thanks for making my journey more fun
Joseph ( Toronto, Canada)

Good job.

Yah! I just completed this challenge. It was really challenging the first two days but it got easier and I could do more at a time each day.
