What is the point in these long shades because They probably don't keep the sun of the lights because they are really narrow? And why not on the yellow/amber light?

I didn't notice that pattern until you said, even though I did notice the sequence skipped frequently.

I've never been overly sure why they've just been put over the reds and not the amber too to be honest.
