I personally think that this song was a little weak in front of already made in album songs ( so was the "nite line") but they were both really great upbeat songs with great instrumental
It’s not that Quincy didn’t think it was good you got to remember that the Original thriller album was longer than what we have now because back then there was only a certain amount of songs you could put on a record before the sound was ruined. Every song was placed on the album for a reason such as Paul McCartney song which I think is my least favorite but it brought a whole different group of people to the project

I just imagine a "one-shot music video", with someone walking on the street at night with so many references to the 80's, something visually like "Uptown Funk" or "Take Back The Night" from JT .
