Just bought 1 refurbished for right at $500, after my newer pro got shattered. Thank you for this, since I’m getting it in a few days, & was wondering how it’d perform!
I still have my 3rd gen and I think its a great value and haven’t updated it. Will update it when I need a new a more current iOS version. Thanks for the great review. Also you logo is fine. Keep up the good work.
I would be extremely disappointed in Apple if the iPad Pro 3rd generation gets two more years of updates. Honestly, by the looks of the iPad Pro 3rd generation, it would probably last at least 10 more years of updates.
I’m my opinion the average consumer doesn’t need anything beyond this iPad. I have the 64gb model and use my iPad for 3D sculpting it runs quite well and usually lasts me about 3hours on a full charge if I am not working on anything too intense. That’s usually with running Pinterest/Nomad sculpt/Spotify at the same time. If I want to feel like I have a laptop I use my Brydge keyboard which definitely gives the setup a MacBook feel. You can also still pair mice like the Logitech MX as well. That being said if you are putting your iPad through the ringer like I typically am. I wouldn’t waste money buying this used. And rather she’ll out for a new Gen.
Im sorry if this might seem rude but you should definitely update your logo. It doesn't match the high quality tech content you produce. Everytime I look at the logo, i think to myself that this is kid's channel. Hope u don't mind 🙏
Ordered mine today , in 2024 will be keeping it into it's no longer supported. I care for the size more then anything having a nice 12.9 screen is something I'm looking forth too !
I have my 5th generation iPad Pro M1 12.9 for Christmas 2 years ago 2021 but never own the 3rd generation iPad Pro the 3rd generation iPad Pro still good in 2023 in my opinion
What app did you use for the sound on the I pad? The little vibrating speaker? I have this pad, was going to donate it and I realized how beautiful photos look on it.
Hi, I have this same iPad but I don’t know if I should to upgrade to iOS 16.x.x because I know for sure that “old”apple iPads gets kind of luggish, what’s your experience with this IOS 16? Thanks
no problems with mine but it could be hit or miss, everyone will have a different experience but if your not sure, i might wait a little longer, unless you're having issues with your current software
I still have mine. I just got the discount Brydge keyboards that look and work great. I just use it for Procreate for line illustrations. It could probably do more, particularly with the new keyboard, but I still can't get a hang of the file system. I can't just put files on usb drive and work on those, and sometimes even when I copy them to the ipad, certain apps still can't see/ access them. It's a bit tedious.
Just got a new to me 3rd gen iPad Pro 12.9” 256gig with Wi-Fi + Cellular. It cost $475 and was refurbished by Amazon. So far it has been great…but I’ve only had it for a few hours.
@@haybe_ not particularly. It’s not that it’s not nice. It’s just that it is much larger/heavier than I expected. I got it mainly to watch tv, movies and UA-cam on in my bed and on airplanes and it’s just not comfortable to hold and it’s hard to find stands/clamps that are large enough to hold it. It’s just kind of awkward to hold and I find myself using my phone much more often. I wish I would have gotten the regular size one.
I got this model when it was brand new. Still holding up but I definitely wish I went cellular and got more than 64GB. I’ll probably upgrade next year or the following.
I own a iPad Pro 12.9 3rd generation 64Gb, I loved, but I feel like I need a bit more espace so I’ll try to get $600 on mine ( it’s is mint condiation) to get the new one with 128Gb. Thank you for your video.
tough choice because p11 pro is probably just as good or better in most categories except when it comes to the s pen, its a little better than the precision pen 3 and comes with the tablet so no extra cost
I wanted to buy an ipad 9 gen 2021 because I'm in budget but lately I found an old pro 3rd generation with low price, but I don't know what to do now. Can you help me please! (I am an architectural student)
sort of a tough choice considering the ipad air 5 has the m1 chip making it plenty powerful for even 4k video editing so if you want longer updates i might go with it, but if you want a larger 12.9 inch screen yes i would look at a year or two older model with the specs i would want
Im an arch student and I found a 2018 iPad Pro 11 inch new. It’s wayyy better than an iPad 9th gen, with the 2nd gen pencil and 120hz. The only iPad that would be better is one with M1 processor. I use it for concepts app, paper app, procreate and SketchUp for iPad. I even use jump app for Remote Desktop into my laptop and I use fricking revit in it😂
@@Liz18Marie wow that's nice! But the problem is the pro I found is an old one so I don't know if it will last long enough until I graduate, which is not the same thing as buying a new one... But as you said it's better than the 9th gen. I'm truly lost, but I think that the pro is a better option :) Thank you!
If you need a big iPad Pro and don’t mind buying used and only 4gb of ram, this is the one to get. Super affordable on the market.

Im in the stage of considering buying a refurbished one too. So does it work properly?

How’s the battery life on it?

Nice 👍
I’m waiting for this review of 12.9 3gen in 2023 and it looks great 😮💨

i actually thought about having someone come up with a new logo to look more modern but not sure if anyone really cares lol
@@FishBeeProductions u could use AI to come upw with a FishBee with a robot exoskeleton. That would up the vibe 🔥

I just purchased a iPad Pro Gen 3 with 260 GB, Apple keyboard case, and Apple Pencil for $550!
Wow that's a better deal than I got

2024and I just updated in 17.2.1. I love this iPad.
Still no issues this 2024? Planning to buy 2nd hand ipad like this

What’s the game your running in the demo where your driving a jeep ?
For procreate and multimedia use only, is better this one or the air 5 in 2023/24?
Id probably go with air 5
I got a used 5th gen because I feel like the A12X doesn’t have a future of software support as the M1 will have.
It has the Liquid Retina XDR display like the MacBook Pro which is a better screen than the OLED screen.
so what iOS did this 3rd gen ipad have? i am trying to figure out if i want to upgrade my iPad Pro 4th gen to iOS 16. i have kept it on iOS 15.

would upgrading to the M2 2022 model would be a great upgrade from this model?
I think performance wise maybe but I don't have that one to compare unfortunately

Is this good for luma fusion video editing or capcut and editing photos ? Looking at this or the gen 4 iPad Pro
But my 1st generation iPad Pro battery got messed up it turns on for a second and then turns back off so I need to get it fix
This thing is still faster than the S8 ultra from Samsung on geekbench
What is the aspect ratio? 16 by 14 or something? It is almost square!
4:3 aspect ratio
What game you were playing at 1:10 ?

I thinking of buying this for my girlfriend for Christmas would this be okay for Netflix emails and music
Yes I think so
