This man is head and shoulders above any others including the beatles who were great songwriters but this guy alone writes, composes, sings, plays numerous instruments and above all sings live like his heart depends on it veins in his neck pulsate how his throat as stood it baffes me this, drive all night, stolen car cannot really be classed as songs their storys from the mans heart everytime he sings them🎤 since 1981 ive been blessed by his poetry, seen him 49 times live and god willing il hit the half century next summer in milan🎸 im from south london but feel i know Jersey just as much as i know my area🎸🎤😇😇
Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band hit in the early seventies and literally saved rock and roll music from the disco music abyss forever with their return to the essence of Rock and Roll, four hour live concerts that left you exhausted but wanting more. I didn’t even know what a Food Bank was until I saw a booth for our local Food Bank at my first Springsteen concert in 1974 and then found out he donated $25,000 personally to each Food Bank at every city in every stop on every tour, to this day. In my recollection, they were the first rock and roll band to write and sing about the plight of the returning Vietnam Vets with his “Born in the USA” album. Springsteen and his Band are true treasures to this country and will never be forgotten.
Incident is by far my absolute Springsteen track. The outro I think rates up there with Racing as his best outros. The plaintive piano tinkling by the Professor is sublime.
The guitar chords at the end of the studio version (along with the middle part of Candy's Room) is some of the heaviest playing on a Springsteen record.

One of the few artists that get better and more relevant with age!

@@sebastianblack6506 Plus Max's heavy and fast drumming is beautiful.
This may be the best live version uploaded to UA-cam of my favorite Springsteen song thanks!
Love you Bruce Springsteen ❤
This song tears me to pieces
Seen him 30 times. Think this concert was one of the best.
This was my favorite concert that I've seen as well, though Albany 2014 was a pretty wild one as well. Was in the pit for both shows! :-)
This is a great vesion. One of his best.
