Same thing happened to me, i ordered an a360X from saltwater aquarium and received the older model in the a360X box. When i contacted them, they didn't believe me and accused me of trying to make false claims. I refuse to order from that company ever again.
Thanks for the review. The same thing happened to me through a private seller on eBay with a MP40 pump. They accused me of replacing the damaged pump they sent me! Unfortunately there seem to be plenty of unscrupulous reefers out there.

Also, for those wondering who the vendor was that caused the problem, I mention it at the end of the first unboxing. I’m not a burn the place down kind of guy which is why I don’t rant about them the whole video. Just make an informed decision about who you do business with.
Buyer beware. I don't use Amazon, I am exclusive to EBay and pay with PayPal. I've never had a situation where the seller never refund my money over a disputed transaction. PayPal has always sided with me and refunded my money within three days ( tablet, sick fish, GPS unit). Seems like PayPal operates under the premise " the customer is always right".
Well you got lucky. payPal / eBay screwed me over years back ( still hurt to this day ). It wasn't even about the $ but more about being scammed. I even proposed eBay/ paylpal give the $ to any charity to no avail.

The question is why didnt they check the contents of the box if its a supposedly returned product? Do they just dump returned boxes back to the shelf without even checking the contents? If so then thats a good way to lose money. That box could have had dog shit in it and they wouldnt know about it.

In my case they openly didn’t trust me, made me send them my serial numbers, and claimed that it couldn’t possibly be their fault because they are just a bunch of friends and no one would do that. It was probably some dishonest person that did a swap and return but it was the seller’s poor procedures that sent me back an open box without checking. I still buy through Amazon but just not when the seller is saltwateraquarium

Michael Lee It totally should be free or stupid cheap like $25. It is all built into the Red Sea Reefer light. Though Kessil has much better spectrum, it should still come standard.

Sorry but you should have roasted the seller - 100% their fault! - They can't blame another customer - it's either BS or they didn't check the returned package (of course they did!) I'm sure you showed them the video and they changed their mind only because of UA-cam - you should seriously warn people about this company - I bet they sent it to the next person who bought it. I'm gonna guess it's SWA (as they are the only one on Amazon that is fulfilled by Amazon and an aquarium shop I know) - Crazy and on their channel they compared 2 similar products that they both sell and according to that UA-camr it was totally biased. That's really bad. This light is on my list for sure but I'm gonna wait and see the LT reviews because the older 360 versions don't have the best reviews on BRS. Also I wanna see if that dongle is free and it allows you to adjust the spectrum etc. I mean the light that expensive should last a long time and be controllable for free (apparently with the spectrum controller it can be super blue / UV which is what I want some of the time. Sorry but you really shouldn't give a company who does that a free pass - it's unfair for the next person who buys from them and gets ripped off.
My favorite LED is Radion XR15 - I haven't used anything else except the SB Reef lights (which are awesome too). But bit of a disclaimer... I think the Hybrid setup is the way to go. Again awesome to hear about these things happening - it's gonna make me more careful ;)
