On a balance sheet, they have more than paid back their costs, so a 'loss' of transfer fee doesn't really feature. Neither were bought as an investment for profit. Darwin, for example (as much as I love him), would fall differently in those terms. Some report £85mill cost, not won loads yet, and a £40mill bid has come in. That's an actual loss, financially. Mo and Trent are totally different to that in a business sense and, if I've learnt anything on socials, people believe FSG are business men to the core. Honestly a lot of this comments section reads like it's a bunch of Mancs talking about Trent. Who are all these so-called supporters spitting at one of our most important players of the Klopp era? It's they who want to find another club.

I hope he stays now because he is putting in the effort for his defending and that was the one thing that annoyed me about Trent being a RB. Trent is a great passer and brilliant crosser but he has never been able to defend, we saw that as recently as Fulham at home.
