Good for you offering more than they asked. I’ve watched others that would have offered a lot less. However, I must say men who call women’s costume “junk” just because they aren’t worth a lot of money is one of my pet peeves. There’s a lot of woman who really like and will cherish that “junk”. I’ve learned on my channel not to call anything junk because there’s someone out there who loves it.
You are 100% right and I know I've had a few comments in the past about that, defiantly will try and start working on just calling it costume jewelry for now on. Didn't mean to offend you in any way. Thank you for always watching
Treasure Finder 28 lol no problem I’ve made that mistake too and throwing jewelry around. I only said something because normally you are very polite and respectful and I enjoy watching.
Nice jade bracelet. I got a scarab necklace similar to your bracelet...few weeks back. Mine was 14kt probably sell for $200-250 and that with a vintage pearl necklace, 925 abelone bracelet, 2 GF watches, and just some plain gem earrings she said $5. My jaw almost dropped, and i felt bad for a brief moment(but she said it) so big win that sale. Anyways, those vintage scarab bracelets are popular i guess...i'd never seen one before though.
Oh my goodness! It's like a pirate chest of loot. : ) I like hearing the back stories so please continue to let us know about the background of your finds. I just got to the point where you mentioned that it was an estate sale; I first thought that this was a garage sale or a family run sale. Congratulations on finding so many good pieces in the batch---especially the gold. I bought a 10K gold chain this week for $40; it was only worth a little more than that (@ $15) when I got home and weighed it. I have to remember that the weight that I am looking for in a 14K piece needs to be a lot heavier in a 10K piece to make it worthwhile. I love seeing your finds; thanks for showing them to us.
Yes it was haha I easily spent an hour and a half cause i like to go through each and every little piece because i don't want to miss a single thing, not even 1 gold backing on a earring lol. Thanks for watching
Hello lovely jewelry haul. Wow the sellers must have never seen their relative in her new jewelry pieces. Most people do compliment others on jewelry. GREAT VIDEO AND GREAT CONTENT. THUMBS-UP ALWAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nice stuff again. The brooch you called demitasse is pronounced Demi-toss but that's for small spoon sets for tea/coffee. That brooch would be damascene (older) and sometimes called toledoware (newer). The Wittnauer watch should be worth more like 50 in running condition maybe as much as 75 depending on the model, it's an earlier one from the 40s/50s with a nice size to it. Always nice to find gold. As far as the quality of the stones on the jade/emerald it's all kinda meh. I think you can get slightly over scrap if you really wanted to for them but nothing crazy. All I would say is to double check everything again, I know you are good and check everything carefully but you never know when you come back another day you might find some more in there. Thanks for sharing
I love gold & jade jewelry, I'd be willing to pay $200 for the large ring & the bracelet. This is around the price that museum shops around here charge for that. I guess it's all in your perspective. The fact that it is vintage & was actually worn just adds to the value for folks like me. I love seeing these videos because it let's me know what's out there as well as strategies to shop well.
@@ThriftHunter I hear you & I agree. Just wanted to present an alternative viewpoint. At least 20% of all jewelry purchases involve sentimentality. And speaking from personal experience more that 10% of vintage jewelry collectors are skinflints LOL.
I like the jade bracelet and jade ring and the emerald my stone. How i wish i could buy that, but can't afford. i love jewelries.Anyways good luck nice treasures.
hello, love your videos! subcriber here. I was marathoning your videos and came across your georg jensen finds, amazing pieces! I also found a pair of earrings and was told they are very early georg jensen. I tried to find them in my research, but have not found anything like them. They are either very rare or Fugayzy ( fake ) .Is there any websites that provide extensive research? thanks
Bought a Womens Swiss bug pocket watch but it hangs on a gold chain, ( forgot what the bug is called) the other day for 10 bucks. And a Schwarski crystal gold necklace for 6 bucks. Question: where do you sell your watches?
Thats awesome, I hope you find some more good stuff in the future. And watches i usually sell on eBay, even the broken ones bring good money. Thank you for watching
Awesome!!! my eyes don't allow me to deal in jewelry and I feel weird using my loop. I think I should get over that. Do you use one at all at estate sales? Thanks Tibbs 👍 👍
WOW!!!! I always appreciate the back story. I love the jade bracelet. Silver is my favorite jewelry.

@@jostallworth3087 I'd estimate the ring and bracelet at closer to 400. I'd bet there's over 200 just in gold there.
