Hey some more cool watches. I have an affinity for Omegas, best value watches imo. Yours looks mid 70s to me, I have a 1969-1970 model that's very similar, I think yours is a few years later with the seahorse back. Going to need to get it open to see the calibre which will give you a pretty accurate date on the watch as Omega changed the movements pretty often. Looks like a screw off back to me, I think one of those watch opening squishy rubber ball things would be the tool to open it.
Hello you have alot of vintage watches. Auction them on Ebay collectors and restorers will come. GREAT VIDEO AND GREAT CONTENT. THUMBS-UP ALWAYS!!!!!!!!!
In the good old days when mechanical watches were the norm any jewelry store could fix a watch, now they charge 200.00 to service a mechanical watch, which they do not do in house. I received a 14 kt gold Hamilton for college graduation, it runs but if it stops, it is not going to be fixed. I did pay the 200.00 to have a Lady Wittnauer 14 kt and diamond white gold fixed, but never again. Hamilton, Elgin and Waltham American were great American made watches.
