  • Welcome back to my channel. In this Video i show you how i tie one of my favourite carp fishing rigs, the Multi rig.
    I have been using this rig for a long time now and it has caught me many fish over the years. I have added my own little twist to the rig by putting a little bead on the loop section on the hook. This i find helps the rig sit straighter and stops the loop twisting around the hook.
    I hope you enjoy this short tutorial. If you do then please leave a like and comment below if you have any questions.

    Cant wait to try this improvised rig out - tied a few up with the same components but I'm using Korda Kamo 20lb instead.
    Thanks Mark

    Thanks for this, I really like the hook bead to keep the loop over the hook even, I always have issues with that!

      @ACarpyConnection  4 роки тому +1

      Hi Nick. The bead is just something I tried one day and it seemed to work well for me. Give it a go and let me know how you get on. Thank you for watching the tutorial. Keep well mate 🎣👍😁

    Interesting use of the line aligner.
    Never felt I've need to use anything but I can see why it's a good idea.

    • @ACarpyConnection
      @ACarpyConnection  4 роки тому

      Hi Darren. Thanks for your comment. I find the line aligner helps turn the hook really quickly. Even without the weight of a hook bait. I guess its personal preference and something i have always used on alot of my rigs. Keep safe mate😃👌🎣

      @@ACarpyConnection no line aligner there just a piece of tubing or a kicker as they call em these days .

    • @ricsmales1011
      @ricsmales1011 2 роки тому

      I’m guessing the line aligner also stops the loop section pulling down to the eye of the hook which can sometimes happen with the Multi Rig? Definitely going to give this a try.

    Doesn't need the bead on the loop. Very odd addition

    • @ACarpyConnection
      @ACarpyConnection  4 роки тому

      Hi Antony. Thank you for commenting. For me the bead is just an extra bit of confidence that the rig is presented just how i want it. I guess you could say the same about the kicker too. The rig would probably work just as well without it but i put it on there as a bit of extra confidence. The rig has caught me quite a few fish this year so far so i will keep using the bead. Thank you for watching though mate and i really appreciate your comment. 😃👌🎣

    • @JB-ud2fr
      @JB-ud2fr 2 роки тому

      You can actually put the bead on the hook itself and it does the same job 👍

    Needs a figure of 8 knot instead of an overhand knot, alot stronger & sits alot straighter, apart from that decent rig..

    • @ACarpyConnection
      @ACarpyConnection  4 роки тому +1

      Hi John. Thank you for your comment. I disagree with you on the knot mate. In all the years i have been using the overhand loop knot, i have never had one fail. The reason i use it is because it is a smaller knot and it is easier to slide the anti tangle sleeve over. It also causes less distress on the braid coating which is what causes the knot to not sit straight, especially with the N Trap. Once it is steamed it sits nice and straight anyway. I appreciate your comment though mate. Thank you for watching. 😃👌🎣

    • @johnlee2230
      @johnlee2230 4 роки тому +1

      @@ACarpyConnection that's great, has long has your happy in its strength & it does what you want it to do👍 I also use anti tangle sleeves most of the time & iv ended up tying quite a small figure of eight so it sits neatly in the thicker part of the sleeve.
