do they just full throttle it where is the competition in driver skills none what so ever as i can see when are they letting off never?? it's like takeing off the wheels on a regular slot car and full throtle around the track car wont come off so phoney!
No not just full throttle, which is why you see crashes. Yes the cars handle very well at these speeds but still they are on the edge so a little driving is required to prevent disaster. Just as in real racing, full concentration is required and going over the edge can damage your car. Much of the competition in this class is in the car and track preparation. Just as it is in Formula One and many forms of motorsport.
Not phony at all. A lot of the “driving” is avoiding “bad air” from cars you are coming up on and avoiding getting passed in a turn by a car on the inside and being “nursed” out of your lane and getting hit by other cars.
