I really like how this theme. It’s truly showing how even after undyne’s death the monster race didn’t just hurl over and all evacuate. this theme shows that the reason why the core is so big in the genocide run has its reason. It’s to show the sheer amount of hired guns really will do anything just to take you down. And the counting in the song really emphasize on how this is the final rush get to it!

Hey just a heads up, the music itself was not created by Kiwiquestt, who is still around and writing music and Is Not A creep Also, a good portion of the devs are working on a different project called Undertale Frosted.
I think this OST does a better job at capturing the genocide feel then slowing down existing tracks. It worked for the first two thirds of the game, but by the time we're far enough into the game, that doesn't really give the same effect. This mod really made the right decision to give us something more intense when genociding last area.
I mean, the game doesn't try to make you enjoy the Genocide Route by giving you new content (aside from Undyne, Sans and some lore from Flowey) so, actually has a lot of sense that the final area is boring (40 monsters, the same repetitive formula of killing everything with slowed music in the background, etc...) More like giving a proper new route it tries to bore you out of it But I agree that the CORE having a meltdown is just, perfect fr

First it tries to scare you (Ruins), then it tries to make you take pity (Snowdin), then it angers you (Waterfall & Undyne), and then it tries to bore you out (Hotland & Core). Even Mettaton’s fight plays into this, serving as the element of disappointment. You come in expecting an awesome fight, but you’re introduced to nothing but disappointment. The original tracks serve a purpose, and changing them to something that they’re not would defeat the whole point of the genocide route.
Undertale: Bits 'n Pieces, a promising mod, but as it turns out, the project director was arrested for possession of child p/ornography. So now the rest of the team has to deal with the aftermath. This was all so sudden.

only one would live (the one who can save and load) if were gonna assume they all go genocide they'd stop at undyne, and the split EXP would make it so that alot of humans are low level.

Its a bit too intense for the core part... It feels more like when entering the core, a monitor with mettaton on it would appear and make some monologue before activating a defense system on the core that makes guns, obstacles, and traps come out from the walls and floors
It is a concept, the CORE is entering in meltdown because of the genocide route and is going to explode, destroying everything behind it, that's because this theme is intense, you have to kill everyone quickly before the CORE explodes, the monsters are attacking you to keep you away from the CORE's exit.
The context is this mods genocide version of the core, where it’s undergoing a meltdown and about it to explode. Mods cancelled because the head dev was EVIL
