Alrighty, today's release, resolving chronic pain going vegan, Tor Ajanaku co-owner of the incredibly tasty Kianga's Kitchen! This is part of a series of mostly shorter videos/success stories. When traveling to do my typical long form interviews I try to stop at all the Vegan Restaurants I can along the way. I noticed a pattern with these restaurants. The overwhelming majority seem to have been galvanized into fruition by a success story. After recovering from Heart Disease, Chronic Pain, Multiple Sclerosis, Ehlers Danlos, Cancers, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, Ulcerative Colitis, Crohn's Disease, Myasthenia Gravis, Lupus, Bronchitis, Fibromyalgia, etc. Here's a playlist of some of the other success stories I have in the mix: ua-cam.com/play/PLmSzj4R9w2MDcGo9Z9gY2IGUNzfg4EpwH.html I've been publishing content more frequently lately because I have so much to get out there before I can transition into the topic of Raising Children Vegan. Anywho, back to cutting!
It would be so great to have affordable vegan food restaurants like this EVERYWHERE. And these little videos are so important, too, Jeff, bc so many people are suffering and this is pure inspiration for them to get started looking into what they can do to heal themselves. 💚 So glad you can get these on your trips. And thank you for all of your dedication filming and editing and sharing!
Kianga's Kitchen looks terrific! Wish everyone with pain issues were handed a plant-based cook book along side their prescription for pills. There were days I couldn't bend my fingers the joints hurt so bad--stopped eating dairy and haven't had an issue since (5+ years).
It's wonderful to see that this man could take a negative experience like a car accident and transform his life. In addition, he has created a business that positively transforms his community as well🎉🎉🎉
Tor!!! I’m from Knoxville Tn. 🧡 How cool, I was so excited when I seen his face on your feed! We went to high school together. I know his family, he is a great man❤ I can’t wait to share this video. I’ve been a follower of yours for quite some time now🙂
@VeganLinked I became vegan for health reasons as well. And I started with processed meat alternatives. Then I learned how to make my own. And it’s true making your the meat alternatives homemade is less costly, and so much better for you. Wish I lived near your restaurant as I’m allergic to gluten and therefore could eat at your restaurant. Blessings! 🙂
Gladiators were vegans to have better performance, you get faster, as you do not get so heavy with a whole plant-based diet and others hormonal benefits as well.
@@Kamase318 no one eating there seems to have a problem with it and none of the other restaurants there appeared to be doing things different. As long as they wash their hands. Save the landfills for crying out loud
Small but important point: Gladiators did not choose that profession. Gladiators were slaves and they ate barley because that's all massa would give them; Eating barley doesn't increase aggression.
you would probably have to get to the source of the problem and consult your physician for that. If it's inflammation based I would imagine so. I don't know, but maybe things like cherries that are highly anti-inflammatory. Maybe tomatoes, even cooked tomatoes, and a high polyphenol count, 3rd party tested, cold pressed olive oil. But, those are just totally guesses...
@@Mikaeelabdullah could it be a migraine of sorts? Is it in both eyes? Is it at certain times of day or in certain circumstances? I guess variables like those might help hone in on the right kind of help to get... Also things like when did it start, describing the pain, how long does the pain last, too many questions... And then of course what is your lifestyle like overall kind of questions... Maybe consult a lifestyle medicine practitioner of some type?
@@VeganLinked No it’s not migraines. I smoked marijuana years ago and provoked a seizure like episode and since then I’ve had all types of issues. Can’t watch tv or read without severe pain, ringing in the ears, muscles aches, and eventual seizure episode. Can’t eat anything stimulating get a seizure like episode. I have chemical sensitivity to perfumes, colognes, Ect. I can barely use this iPad mini 4 to do use UA-cam. It’s very frustrating. I have a pain in my stomach, images cleared me according to the doctor. I just diagnosed with wolf Parkinson’s white syndrome but I do t think that causes an inability to read or tolerate screens. Thank you for your concern. I mostly eat meat and salads. I’ve been drinking some herbal tonics. I don’t eat junk at all, haven’t done so in like 15 years. I fear I have a brain issue other than the diagnosed pineal gland cyst which doctors say is stable.
My grandmother raised a kitten and gave it raw meat and it was a beautiful but it was very aggressive. It wouldn’t let you pet it. But some people have food allergies, but all you have to do is find out what foods. But the carnivore diet gives a person time to clean lymph system. But moderation in all things is best. Both vegan and carnivore have their merits.
Cats are true carnivores. But there are actually vegan cat foods available now that supply them all the nutrition they need. Interestingly enough I did an interview recently with a man by the name of Hunter who has a cat that he has been feeding vegan food to for a very long time. At his house I was petting the cat and out of nowhere it bit me! I yanked my hand away just in time not to get punctured by its fangs and inadvertently slap myself in my nuts. I ran around his house holding my prized possessions yelping in pain. He was a bit of an embarrassing yet entertaining moment...
I hope so. Rarely get pain but lately I'm suffering. Started being more raw vegan this week. Ate some bread today n in few hours I had water retention in my ankles!
This is a restaurant in a mall with other restaurants. This is likely the healthiest restaurant in proximity. He has options that are not fried. He reclaimed his health with raw vegan foods. He doesn't eat just raw now. Certain oils appear to actually be health promoting. And frying doesn't automatically equate to unhealthy. Frying food is often considered unhealthy due to the high levels of fat and calories it can add, especially if unhealthy oils are used or if the food is deep-fried. However, frying isn't inherently bad. Using healthier oils with high smoke points, like olive oil or avocado oil, can reduce the formation of harmful compounds. While frying can increase the calorie content of food, it doesn't automatically make it unhealthy. Moderation, choice of oil, and cooking method are key factors in determining the health impact of fried foods. Not all fats are the same. Frying animal parts high in certain types of saturated fats is completely different than frying whole plant foods. The temperature, the type of oil, etc... all play a part. Like all foods, there's is nuance. Try not to harshly over generalize.
@@WOLF-ib7xx no it isn't always that way. There are lots of no SOS options out there. Perhaps not enough though. All restaurant food is subject to this issue that you speak of, it's not just vegan restaurant food. Also there's really nothing wrong with oil. Even salt and proper amounts is totally fine. And if you're and preparing everything at home going out isn't going to likely cause any problems if you get a little SOS in the mix. I don't even know why you brought sugar into this because it's not likely he adds sugar to these foods. But even sugar isn't a problem if you're eating healthy overall. For example there's the second meal effect even a third meal effect. So for example if you ate breakfast at home comprised of whole grains, or whole legumes, then it's likely your second or even third meal would have a lower glycemic load reducing the likelihood of glycation. I've been to a lot of vegan restaurants and some are better at the whole foods for sure. There are even whole Food raw vegan restaurants. But I'm with you in that there are unfortunately too many that cater to the trashy side of culture. But that's all restaurants not just vegan restaurants.
Why are you saying this? It's a restaurant. It's not just fried foods. And what evidence do you have that his particular foods are not healthy fried or not?
@@VeganLinkedFriing is bad not matter what you fry. Oils are scientifically proven to damage your arteries and veins, you should know that. Dr.Esselstyn study. 🙏

I have cardiologist Dr Kim Williams recently talking about it and explicitly saying even frying is fine, we see people like Bryan Johnson with a team of 30 doctors spending millions of dollars every year on analyzing his 78 body organs advocating cold pressed oils, etc. Just like any food there is nuance, which oils, what temperatures, what food is being fried?
