I'm really curious what production meeting led to this particular idea. It ended up being really cool though!
I was an ASM for a production of Marat Sade, which has a whipping scene. We all learned how to crack the whip. Except for me. That shit is too scary.
A little less power and you'll have a nice and clean crack. And...don't you ever crack a whip on concrete or gravel. Will kill the whip in no time. Especially leather whips.
I could have used this info when my husband and I started snapping towels at each other a few minutes ago hahahahaha
