Gotta say, Robert. I so enjoy watching your videos. I have been practicing the whip for about month. Always wanted to learn since I was a kid, and I've learned so much watching your videos.

I am a beginner using a kirin (unicorn) whip in China. Are these these the same techniques?

The best bullwhip instructional video i have ever seen. I am new to bullwhips. I did make my own ballchain whip this weekend. And unfortunately i took electrical tape on the outside, and i can tell you that one Moore minus side for that tape is, that it don´t held up for minus 4 degrees celcius, the e-tape cracks apart. I would be glad for some advice. Does that so called hockeytape solwe it for me? Best regards from Carl in Sweden.

      Dear Carl,
thank you for your comment. And - yep, hockey tape is way (!) better than e-tape. Perhaps you'd like to watch this vid: ua-cam.com/video/gNi7aR6hH-0/v-deo.html It's something on e-tape in whips :o)

Danke Schön for your fast reply! I liked that video you linked to me about German super platinum e-tape. I saw Another e-tape video that you had posted, 24 min long about e-tape on nylon whips, and i Heard you mention hockey tape. So now after your answer i will try that instead. I made the Adam Winrich whip that he shows here on UA-cam, and of course i was inpatient and took the fast sollution. The whip works very good exept the e-tape:) And after watching your video (whip basics A beginners guide) I managed to make the circus crack after maybe 10 minutes of training and doing exactly as you described. I must tell you that my whip cracks ten times of ten with your help!BTW may i ask you? what makes the hockey tape better? Is it Moore flexible? Greetings from a Cold West Sweden -5°c and a beginner whipcracking Carl!
