I just got re admitted into the hospital and this video cheered me up. Since I can't look at my own shelf at least I can look at your beautiful shelf :) Thanks for making this video!
My books are alphabetical. They will a l w a y s be alphabetical. But I still struggle with arrangements (stack em or not? What about multiple authors? What about anthologies?) I only recently became satisfied by the arrangement but now I'm almost scared to buy new books and mess it up!
Faryal S Personally, with multiple authors, I use the first author listed (ex: Good Omens by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman is under P) and with anthologies I use the editor (ex: Burnt Tongues edited by Chuck Palahniuk is under P), but that's just me 😊
so are mine with the exception of a small pile of my historical fiction and war novels that look very aesthetically pleasing together and the two novels that i own written by multiple authors
All your night circus books 😍😍😍 And the daughter of smoke and bone series is just pure 👌🏻🔥 I love this, thanks Hannah!! I'm actually filming mine as well and it's suuuupppeerr tiring lolol 😅😅
Goodness I cannot imagine the time and effort that went into this. Your shelves are gorgeous. Thank you for showing them to us. I love all of the little touches and hope to one day be able to do my own. I love hedgehogs and it's cute that they are on your shelves. I like to keep books by the same author together, keep classics together, series together, and also a section for signed and "pretty" books. They are scattered all over shelves in my apartment but my most favorite authors and books are in my bedroom.
This is genuinely the first and only bookshelf tour I really enjoyed. Your taste is amazing and don't even get me started on your organizational system.
"She looks exactly like the way I look when I wake up in the morning, except she's cute." I could not stop laughing! The shelves look great! I organize mine with author last names.
I love that each Bookshelf tour shows the readers personality and has things from their childhood aswell. I would totally have a whole wall of bookshelves if I had room, maybe when I move out lol. I was so excited to watch this! yay!
I literally sighed happily when you mentioned the Spiderwick Chronicles. Brings so many memories. My brother used to read those books to me when I was scared at night to help me fall asleep.
HANNAH!!! THE BOX!! I didn't even realize it was there oh my god??? I'm so touched that it was in this video omg Hannah I love you. (Also I love that it's on the same bookshelf as Carry On and Ari and Dante
Oh, Fredrik Backman! As a Swede and a huge fan of him, I get very excited when his books are in someone's bookshelf :D When his new book comes out in English, you just HAVE to read it! It's honestly one of my favorite books. I think it comes out in April (it's called Beartown)
I organize my bookshelves by series. I have all my Doctor Who books on one shelf currently since I've barely scratched the surface on them, Wheel of Time is also on a shelf by itself, my fairy tale stories with a twist themed books are currently on their own shelf, any solo or incomplete series are on their own shelf, one shelf I've got dedicated to Brandon Sanderson and is also hosting the few comics/graphic novels I own. There's also one whole shelf and a partial hosting my leatherbound books from Barnes & Noble which I plan to organize by color in the future. That's just on my books, I have a whole case that's just DVDs, two shelves dedicated to Doctor Who dvds and now one I'm starting that's for my Shout Factory stuff but is currently Power Rangers/Super Sentai.
Bookshelf goals. If I had both the space and the money this is what my bookshelves would look like. Your arrangement pleases me so much. I've heard you talk about some of the titles on your shelf in other videos and I fully intend to check them out once I finish the two books I have sitting on my coffee table (Meg by Steve Alten and A Whole New World bu Liz Braswell)
The Spiderwick movie was so good! I really should read the books; Holly Black is the BOMB I loved her "Curse Workers" series. Have you read them? And I just picked up The Night Circus yesterday; found it at a used bookstore for $2!! So excited to read it!
I have a rainbow bookshelf atm and i'm loving it! I would love to see a video about your art journaling, i think it's such an interesting way to journal - but if that's too personal for you I totally understand! I just got the Night Circus because of you - but now i wish i had gotten that vintage Edition!! It's beautiful!
Favorite shelf was definitely the Shadowhunters shelf C': I have about three small shelfs of books so the first is all my hard backs with the Red Queen series being displayed. A Twilight shelf, with all the hard covers, a Twilight game, the first two paperbacks, and the first two movie, behind the scenes, companions(?) and the last shelf is just all my paper backs.
After watching your bookshelf reorganizing video, I looked at my book shelf and realized how unorganized it was. I took my book shelf apart and it took me 7 hours to figure out how I wanted it and actually put it back! I loved your book shelf tour! 📚
I love the variety of your books, Hannah! (And the way you've arranged them!) I especially loved your classics shelf! Those are some really beautiful covers
I'm constantly reorganizing my bookshelf too. I might try something new when I get back from my sisters, but right now it's HP and Shadowhunters up top, series, and then standalones.
Not sure if you noticed, but you also have 2 copies of "the sun is also a star" which sit in different places 😄 Anyways, I really love your shelf!! Definitely gave me some ideas for my own. Wish I had as much space to organize 😅
Oh my goodness I love unwind! Have you read the rest? Because if not I highly recommend! Also the Lunar chronicles by Marissa Meyer are definitely worth looking into! Love your videos!
You should totally add The Mara Dyer Trilogy to your collection!! Litterally the BEST books I have ever read in my life!! I cried an awfull lot reading them, I recommend it!!
I AM GOING TO TELEPORT YOUR BOOKSHELF INTO MY ROOM. Sooory. No seriously. I love your videos and your personality so so so much. You are amazing Hannah ! :)
because 2 bookshelves and 3.5 copies of the Harry potter series is VERY necessary! (not being sarcastic). my original set is mixed up b/c 1-5 was from one set, and 6 and 7 are hardcover and it drives me bananas!! especially with the new illustrated versions coming out... so needed! in other words I thank you for validating my sanity ❤ #newsubscriber lol
Your bookshelves are so gorgeous and inspiring! It's time for me to rework mine... And thank you again for recommending the Daughter of Smoke and Bone Trilogy because it was just wonderful! My best friend liked it too :-)
i organize my books first by my favorites, poetry and short stories, classics, and nonfiction. and since my shelf is small there's a bunch of stuff stuck in random places just because they fit :P i really need a bigger shelf -_-
I love your shelves and thank you for making this video! I like the look of rainbow shelves the best, but I also love having series all together and honestly I feel like I rearange my shelves every month.
hufflebee Thank YOU!! 💕 I like the look of rainbow shelves best too, but I feel you on always reorganizing! I'm just never fully happy with how they look 😄
You may have already read the series but i noticed they weren't on your bookshelves. I really reccomend The Maze Runner trilogy by James Dashner. It might not be your thing however I've been obsessed over these books for a long while now and think every book-lover of sci-fi/ *dystopian* storylines should read them. Once again, if you haven't already, I think you'd really enjoy them.
Wow, your bookshelves are so nice and I love all the bookish items that you have. I think I want to pick up that vintage classics edition of the Night Circus, it looks so pretty. And after hearing you rave about it a couple of times I'm really curious to read it :-)
Lila Rose I have read these books. They are like mystery books with a private detective. They are being turned into a mini series or TV show- maybe on Netflix- I can't remember, but I am so excited for it! Definitely not like Harry Potter, but I really loved this series.
There's something so relaxing about watching bookshelf tours. They're all so pretty. Currently my shelves are divided in books read (these are organized by auhor) and TBR books, which is organized a little by color, but mostly by size. I think I'm going to rearrange it all soon, since I got another little shelf to add to my collection. We'll see. :)
Anita Lind I completely agree, I love watching them too! I'm thinking of trying out unread vs read books at least once, but I feel like I'd have a hard time separating my series 😂
This is the first bookshelf tour I've ever watched on UA-cam! I'm intrigued, and I'll probably spend the next six hours watching as many more as I can! I've got to ask, where is that H journal from?
I like watching bookshelf tours because it's fun to see how other people organize their books and get ideas or not. For instance, on your top shelf having two giant books right beside the Percy Jackson books which are noticably smaller in size would have annoyed me. All I would see was the size difference and that irks me so much. That is why I do not alphabetize my books.
Whoa! Love the collections and details. Just curious, how do you keep your books as clean as new? Your shelves are open as well. Do you clean them daily or weekly. I've the same shelves in brown.. it really gets dirty the second day I cleaned it
Your shelves are beautiful (also that thumbnail ❤️)!! Really inspiring me to buy one of those shelves for myself. My shelf I've had since I was tiny is now packed like Tetris trying to fit everything in! Love this video and your channel 📚
I organize my books by alphabetical order. And divide them in sections of English, then manga and lastly Norwegian. So I easily can choose which language I want to read my next book in.
Awesome shelves, just awesome! Also would you recommend that little box set of LOTR books? I have heard the font is hard to read but what do you think?
This is a very aesthetically pleasing video. I love the way you've organized your shelves; kind of reminds me that I need to re-organize mine, ha ha! Nice collection!
ok BUt what about where you got those CLASSICS holy cow they are gorgeous. (mostly talking about the Great Gatsby and Anna Karenina) they are gorgeoussss
Your shelves are gorgeous! I know these videos are a ton of work, so thank you! I like to organize my shelves my series and then by author's last name!
Hi Hannah! I've just started seeing your videos, so I'm catching up haha loved your bookshelf! Where does you buy your journals from? Loved the ones that have an "H" in the cover!
My books are 100% organized by aesthetics. I put things how I FEEL they look good. There is literally no rhyme or reason and I love it.
I love that too!
Jeez, dedication and a half making this video! Editing this must have been a killer
It was lolll! But it was worth it

I just got re admitted into the hospital and this video cheered me up. Since I can't look at my own shelf at least I can look at your beautiful shelf :) Thanks for making this video!

Udhaya Ranjani I've been back in and out since then and I'm still not great. However thanks for your well wishes, they're much appreciated! :)
My books are alphabetical. They will a l w a y s be alphabetical. But I still struggle with arrangements (stack em or not? What about multiple authors? What about anthologies?) I only recently became satisfied by the arrangement but now I'm almost scared to buy new books and mess it up!
Faryal S Relatable 😂
Faryal S lol I can't imagine arranging books alphbitcaly sounds too hard and yes easy to mess up!
Me too! Except I have a shelf for Shakespeare and some Greek plays.
The pronunciation in this video should be appluaded
YEEESS
All your night circus books 😍😍😍
And the daughter of smoke and bone series is just pure 👌🏻🔥
I love this, thanks Hannah!!
I'm actually filming mine as well and it's suuuupppeerr tiring lolol 😅😅
Yes true!! So pure
Great selections!
I cried when you presented His Dark Materials. Literally the first time I hear someone talking about it EVER. I just love those books.
Goodness I cannot imagine the time and effort that went into this. Your shelves are gorgeous. Thank you for showing them to us. I love all of the little touches and hope to one day be able to do my own. I love hedgehogs and it's cute that they are on your shelves.

Everything looks so lovely Hannah! :D
Thank you so much!!
"She looks exactly like the way I look when I wake up in the morning, except she's cute." I could not stop laughing! The shelves look great! I organize mine with author last names.
Alexander Nadirashvili Lolll 😂 I've always wanted to try organizing like that!!
I love that each Bookshelf tour shows the readers personality and has things from their childhood aswell. I would totally have a whole wall of bookshelves if I had room, maybe when I move out lol. I was so excited to watch this! yay!
your shadowhunter's shelf is amazing!! i'm obsessed with the series!
Me too I'm a sucker for them
I literally sighed happily when you mentioned the Spiderwick Chronicles. Brings so many memories. My brother used to read those books to me when I was scared at night to help me fall asleep.
cannot stop myself from screaming whenever i see the twilight series anywhere! lovely video!!
HANNAH!!! THE BOX!! I didn't even realize it was there oh my god??? I'm so touched that it was in this video omg Hannah I love you. (Also I love that it's on the same bookshelf as Carry On and Ari and Dante
I did that intentionally
I was also obsessed with Spiderwick when I was a kid. Definitely what got me into books.
Oh, Fredrik Backman! As a Swede and a huge fan of him, I get very excited when his books are in someone's bookshelf :D When his new book comes out in English, you just HAVE to read it! It's honestly one of my favorite books. I think it comes out in April (it's called Beartown)
where did you get those editions of your classic novels? they're stunning!
The Last of the Really Great Whangdoodles!! I was obsessed with that book as a kid.
These shelves are SO PRETTY! LOVE the Harry Potter shelves.
where did you get all of this beautiful classics!?
YAS nobody talks about the Spiderwick Chronicles! I love them so much :)
I am in love with that classics shelf! Such beautiful covers...and lietrary works.
Virna Pamela Odiver-Aricheta 💖💖💖
I put The Night Circus on hold at my library because I love how you love it. Can't wait to read it.
Crystal I think they're Ikea's Billy shelves
IKEA!

Favorite shelf was definitely the Shadowhunters shelf C':

I loooooooved reading the Kite Runner and the Mortal Instruments series!!
I LOVE watching bookshelf tours and I want to start my own collection of books since I love reading sooooo much
I almost screamed when I saw the coldest girl in coldtown, because I'd completely forgotten that book existed, and also how much I love it.
I'm constantly reorganizing my bookshelf too. I might try something new when I get back from my sisters, but right now it's HP and Shadowhunters up top, series, and then standalones.
When you said the book thief I just screamed. Best book of all history! XD
Not sure if you noticed, but you also have 2 copies of "the sun is also a star" which sit in different places 😄
Anyways, I really love your shelf!! Definitely gave me some ideas for my own. Wish I had as much space to organize 😅

What a wonderful collection you have, you make me want to read Night Circus 🎪
I love buying multiple copies of classics just because there's so many beautiful editions!
Your bookshelfs look so nice, this was very aesthetically pleasing to watch, thank you!
I was so tempted to buy this Heidi edition just for the beautiful cover (and because I loved the series as a child)
AHHHHH I'M SO JEALOUS OF YOUR BOOKSHELF
It must have taken so long to edit this 😭😭😭 and you poured your "BLOOD SWEAT AND TEARS" into it as well~!!
I am so envious of your bookshelf, it is sooooo pretty and well thought out! And of course all the books, added a few to my "check out" list :)
I AM GOING TO TELEPORT YOUR BOOKSHELF INTO MY ROOM. Sooory. No seriously. I love your videos and your personality so so so much. You are amazing Hannah ! :)
Thank you so taking your time going through and not rushing where I can't keep up and end up clicking out of the video! :)

This is by far the best bookshelf tour I've ever seen!! Great work! :D

I usually find bookshelf tours a little tedious but yours move really well! 💚😍
Madeline was my favorite book as a kid. My mom and I used to read it everyday.
I love your shelves and thank you for making this video! I like the look of rainbow shelves the best, but I also love having series all together and honestly I feel like I rearange my shelves every month.

when you said aka by Jk Rolling I was shocked! are the books any good?
Lila Rose I haven't read them yet, but they have great reviews from people I trust!!

I know. It's definitely also weird having the series separated. But it's also really nice watching the progress as they're being read.
How long has this collection taken you to get?
This is the first bookshelf tour I've ever watched on UA-cam! I'm intrigued, and I'll probably spend the next six hours watching as many more as I can! I've got to ask, where is that H journal from?
I also have a shadowhunters shelf and I wish I had those post cards there so cool
I was so excited to see this in my sub box! Your shelves are so beautiful!!
Ailish Jean Thank you!! I'm glad you enjoyed it! ✨💗

Love this so much- your shelves are awesome! I also organize mind mostly by genre/theme or aesthetic.❤️
if you liked the fault in our stars, I would really recommend an abundance of katherines by john green!
I’ve always organized my books alphabetically, it’s not the prettiest looking, but it’s practical.
I love your Harry Potter shelves
