It was well done. Cady becoming sheriff. Standing Bear running the Casino and Walt looking for buried treasure. The only problem I had was with Freg not getting the girl.
I truly loved the Longmire series. After season 5 it took me 3 years to watch season 6; I did not want it to end. Really enjoyed the last season, however everything, every story line, ended with a nice neat little bow tied around it, it did not feel right.
Agreed. I feel like on season 6 episode 9 they decided they weren't going to continue the show so they crammed all these resolutions into episode 10 and it all went way too fast for me
Thank you for your excellent presentation. Having missed the last couple of series of Longmire due to the contempt held by tv companies for their viewers, we really wanted to see how the story developed. It was a well written saga and there were so many things in progress when our viewing was cut short, but at least we now know that our favourite characters made it to the end and it looks very satisfactory. Again, Thank you.
I would love to see season seven of Longmier, there isn't many good shows like Longmier on TV and I'm a faithful viewer of the show and hated to see it end
Hated the last episode. Watching Walt and Vic in a graphic love scene was nauseating. They turned Walt into a creepy old man with no morals. Vic should’ve ran for sheriff and cady should’ve finally left wy like she’s wanted too the entire series. I did like Walt getting a phone.
The best line in any season. When longmire and lie diamonds character talk about a case, they bring up a donna. Lie character asks "who's donna" I yelled "you wrote a song alt her in labamba. Man you forget fast"
One of the greatest dramas ever. Stellar cast, stories, photography, the works. Now….who called WALT in the final scene? Vic? He just says “hello”, but if he saw a caller ID, still has a smile. It’s a welcome call. I have read the books. Craig is a great writer, and I truly want to see more on the screen.
The problem with this series is that Walt shows moments of brilliance and moments of absolute stupidity. Throughout the series it became very evident that being the sheriff in that town was a very dangerous job. In the last episode, Walt tells Vic that he was wounded 13 times. Throughout the series Walt obsesses about Cady's safety, yet suddenly in the last episode Walt forgets about protecting his daughter. Why would he want his clueless 98 pound daughter to have the extremely dangerous job of being the sheriff?
_Longmire_ is the most complex of stories. In its characterization, Walt is the only figure who remains unswerving behind his moral compass. Every character pays a price in finding terms with a complex society of relative values. The West is maturing. Teddy Roosevelt could never have found himself in 21st-century Reno. At that, perhaps the best of all possible modern Sheriffs is the direct opposite of the Gary Cooper figure of Walt Longmire, yet bred with his heritage. To Walt, the law is a simple thing, kept or broken. To Cady, the law is a part of life, and must always evolve to keep up. Walt believes in resolutions. Cady believes in reasonable compromise. Cady Longmire, a "... clueless 98-pound ..." etc.? Cassidy Freeman stands five-nine. And Cady shot down an armed maniac with an obscure and unfamiliar weapon that she loaded and deployed in the moment. It reflects the evolution of the West. Look at that idiot down in Uvalde. How could he not know to go in in his skivvies if he had to to protect those children? It's a fictional example, but Walt, Henry and Vic went in against numbers. That's the spirit. If you want an example from life, look up the active shooter situation, June 8 of 2014, Las Vegas, NV. Civilian Joseph Wilson went in alone. Perhaps he was naive, but he had courage.
Completely the natural born cop Vic should’ve run for sheriff and cady should’ve got to the city to make money as a lawyer. Would’ve loved to have seen knight horse working at the red pony as a bartender lol
As far as the ending I wanted more of Longmire in other words I don’t want Longmire to end! The ending left you wanting more or there was going to more series soon? I like Walt & Vic together! I thought that was the whole reason for Walt’s daughter Katie going up for the Sheriff’s job? I never liked Walt & Donna together! Those two were never a good fit! One of the shows both decided to just be friends only! It works better! I think Deputy Ferguson is serious about his nurse friend & will propose marriage! I was sad Branch got killed by his own father that was hard to watch! Connally was a cruel man & too bad Walt had to go through the trial but all good things happen for a reason! Walt was found innocent! Lots of people were killed off in Longmire by bad people or people who just wanted to weed out the bad crooks! The rest of the cast is perfect to restart Series 7 & Beyond! When I first started watching Longmire I really didn’t know what it was but the very first show I was hooked! What a great show I couldn’t stop watching until I watched the last show & then I was sad I was hoping Longmire was going to have more Series in 2022 hopefully that will happen soon!!’ Great acting beautiful scenery & Indian culture I love it all in Longmire bring back this entertaining show in 2022! Thank You!
I’d say the ending was appropriate. And Walt had good reason to call it quits with Cady in charge since she would run a tight ship and would do so by the book. Somethings I thought they should have kept from the book, like Walt and Vic having a relationship sooner in the series but it all worked out in the end. I can’t wait for movies based on the books. Just wondering who they would get to replace Robert Taylor as Walt…
Longmire was a great show, amazing characters and story lines. Season 6 was not very good but I choose to believe they did the best they could to tie up all loose ends.
Something that isn't mentioned is Nighthorse is actually Hector. In the episode where the Cheyenne children are taken from the orphanage, Nighthorse is the warrior at the end. Nighthorse can be better seen in the music video 'SAIL - Instrumental version'. He is shown with the Crow headdress he keeps in his office and holding teeth of his victims up to the sky...
Overall a nice explanation, but try proofreading the narration next time. It’s Henry Standing Bear, not Long Bear. Also you called Malachi, Mathias at one point.
Series was fair. Either the writer of the books or the producers knew nothing about police procedure. Walt ending up with vic caused me to hug the porcelain bus. I absolutely hated saghoff's piss poor acting ability.
I think things were tied together nicely, but once I saw it I smiled and thought what will the characters be doing next. Perhaps a few movies would be a great way to get a few more chapters. Hell I even wonder about Joe Mega.
I just watched the whole series for the first time. I loved the series but was disappointed with the ending. It felt rushed and simplistic. It tied up too many bows too quickly without giving that part of the story its proper due. I think a season 7 that dealt with the finale could have been better way to end the series.
I hated the ending of Longmire. I want to see more of Walt on adventures. Though I do want Cady to take over. I am happy that Henry is the owner of the Casino! It would be something if we had two Longmire Shows : One with Cady as the new Longmire Sheriff, and another with Walt and Nighthorse working together as Private Detectives or Bounty Hunters or something. That way Jacob could redeem himself and they could be friends.
Wonder what would happen if all the #Longmire loved sites ask everyone to post their favorite pic of the cast & hashtag it #LongmireMovies.... Let's see what would happen. :)
I just watched the whole season on the Circle network but I missed a couple episodes. What happened to Lucien Connaly? He died but I guess I missed it.
Loved the show. Would definitely like to see a movie or two. Only thing I really didn’t like in the end was Vic and Walt together, just didn’t work for me. In my opinion Vic should have ended up with branch’s best friend, I mean the guy really tried and I’m sure would be way better for her.
I agree. It just creeped me out seeing Walt end up with Vic. It just didn't fit right. Walt needed a classy mature woman like the doctor lady. What happened with that story line? I was so disappointed in the ending with that part of it.
If Longmire comes back, I hope he isn't the Sheriff or a cop in any capacity. That chapter of his life is over and should stay over. But I definitely can see him coming back as a PI....with his brilliance and law enforcement background, he would make an excellent private investigator.
At first I was sorry the series was ending but after watching the finale I think no more episodes are necessary. really poor storyline and terrible dialogue in some places. Jumped through so many hoops to tie up the loose ends. I hated the Walt Vic “romance” ( dirty screw scene). Vic chased Walt for 6 seasons, he finally relents and typically in true slut form Vic in an embarrassing dialogue states she is not available for a lasting bond. Even more embarrassing is Walt simping verbally that he is finally getting happy. There is so much more that was bad about this ending but it’s just flogging a dead horse. With regret I find I’m glad the series is over; I’d hate to see what series would look like after they “fixed” everything.
Nice Hollywood ending Except Cady being sheriff She was weak and unsure of herself most the series Branch would have been ideal and remained Cady's boyfriend Henry should have stayed at his first love, 'The Red Pony' He was my favorite character Nighthorse had proved himself worthy to be in charge Mathias was a good character as was Ruby It won't have been much of a series w/o Walt The man who was too quick to accuse his closest friends and family of wrong doing All the while, crossing the line many times himself He was the author of most of his demons Great series though My favorite shows were the ones where the crimes were solved at the end of each show Highly recommended

What did you think about the ending of "Longmire"?
I would'nt mind a Longmire movie trilogy 💯
Loved the series but hated the ending with his daughter taking over.
It’s Standing Bear not Long Bear
It was well done. Cady becoming sheriff. Standing Bear running the Casino and Walt looking for buried treasure. The only problem I had was with Freg not getting the girl.
@@johnbernstein7887
Where do you get the Idea that Ferg didn't end up with Meg?
Absolutely wish there was more such a great show
A prequel with Lucian as the sheriff and Walter as a deputy would be very cool
A couple of minor quibbles:
It's Henry Standing Bear (not Long Bear) @ 0:17
They are Malachi's men, not Mathias' @ 2:12
TBF, it was mentioned in the show that Mathias had leaks in his department.
It would be fun to see a movie of Longmire or two why not I still want more of Longmire.
That smile on Walts face after the phone call in the final scene..I reckon that was his daughter telling him she was the new sheriff.
I truly loved the Longmire series. After season 5 it took me 3 years to watch season 6; I did not want it to end. Really enjoyed the last season, however everything, every story line, ended with a nice neat little bow tied around it, it did not feel right.

Henry Longbear? 😂
STANDINGBEAR! Lol

Great explanation to some questions. Was a great show

It would be cool to see the show continued with Cady as sherif.
No that would not work
Yes, it certainly could work
Yeah, cuz she's such a talented cop
YES!!!!!!!!!! That's the only way I'd want to see it
I didn't care for Vic and Walts ending. Loved the series.
The best line in any season. When longmire and lie diamonds character talk about a case, they bring up a donna. Lie character asks "who's donna" I yelled "you wrote a song alt her in labamba. Man you forget fast"
I was singing “oh Donna” to myself during that conversation. 🤣

I have read the books. Craig is a great writer, and I truly want to see more on the screen.
My guess would be it was noting really important it just showed how Walt changed as a person because he got a cell phone
The problem with this series is that Walt shows moments of brilliance and moments of absolute stupidity.

Adoro longmire, fantastica serie❤❤❤❤
I loved longmirw great show!!! Wish it would have gone on past season 6 that'd be cool

Awesome
It was a great episode to wrap the series. I do wish the relationship with Longmire and Vic was a bit more secure.
I agree. I thought the love story was more of a lust story.
Worst part was Vic showing up to surprise Travis and cause he moved, prob back home with his mom, vic just forgets about it and moves onto Walt ha.
She was a hair brained tramp for 6 seasons
Isn’t it Henry Standing Bear?
I’d say the ending was appropriate. And Walt had good reason to call it quits with Cady in charge since she would run a tight ship and would do so by the book. Henry took over the casino, but they didn't say what happened to the Red Pony! I'm a bartender... I'd like to apply for the job!!!
Good video
Loved the show!
Great information...we never saw the end, here in Australia. But it was never the less a great show...a pity it didn't go further
Longmire was a great show, amazing characters and story lines. Season 6 was not very good but I choose to believe they did the best they could to tie up all loose ends.

Bring this incredible show back
Bring it back great series!
More Longmire….yes please but only with this cast. I’d love a series where Katie is sheriff
I just watched the whole series for the first time. I loved the series but was disappointed with the ending. It felt rushed and simplistic. It tied up too many bows too quickly without giving that part of the story its proper due. I think a season 7 that dealt with the finale could have been better way to end the series.
I LOVE THE SERIES ! PLEASE SOMEONE BRING IT BACK ?????
Vic and Walt to be honest was the real reason I watched the show (GREAT SHOW) wanted them to be together. 😑
I want Season 7 !!!!
Im still waiting for a follow up movie to Quantum Leap
I hated the ending of Longmire. I want to see more of Walt on adventures. Though I do want Cady to take over. I am happy that Henry is the owner of the Casino! I just watched the whole season on the Circle network but I missed a couple episodes. What happened to Lucien Connaly? He died but I guess I missed it.
Spoiler:
Committed suicide after killing the Connolly estate manager guy who was suing walt for the wrongful death suit.
Loved the show. Would definitely like to see a movie or two. Only thing I really didn’t like in the end was Vic and Walt together, just didn’t work for me. In my opinion Vic should have ended up with branch’s best friend, I mean the guy really tried and I’m sure would be way better for her.

Pretty good show . LOVED Henry ... was by far the best caricature. As for Walt and Vic. 😝 gross
BRING LONGMIRE THE MAN BACK ! THE BEST SHOW ON TV !
My favorite show while waiting on season 5 Yellowstone.
Finally watched the end of the Walt and Vic love story. My son recommended the series. Was not my cup of tea.
No where is there a discussion of your’ header.
Cadey becoming sheriff made absolutely no sense
Bring it back!
Couldn’t stand his daughter. She blamed everyone for everything. Really hated she was going to become the sheriff. It got really dumb right there.
I loved this series
Nice Hollywood ending
Except Cady being sheriff
She was weak and unsure of herself most the series
Branch would have been ideal and remained Cady's boyfriend
Henry should have stayed at his first love, 'The Red Pony'
He was my favorite character
Nighthorse had proved himself worthy to be in charge
Mathias was a good character as was Ruby
It won't have been much of a series w/o Walt
The man who was too quick to accuse
his closest friends and family of wrong doing
All the while, crossing the line many times himself
He was the author of most of his demons
Great series though
My favorite shows were the ones where
the crimes were solved at the end of each show
Highly recommended
GOSH WE WISH NETFLIX HAD A BRAIN , BECAUSE LONGMIRE IS THE BEST SHOW ON TV ! WE RE STILL BINGE WATCHING IT !!! MY SISTER JUST CALLED ME AND SAID SHE IS BINGE WATCHING IT TOO !
Standing Bear, not Long Bear
We deserved more.
Night horse character was amazing sure at times he broke the law but he was never the criminal everyone made him out to be
In one month maybe 😂I watched all seasons finished season six episode 10 this morning it was brilliant commented on another site that it was just as good as Yellowstone because it’s about regular folks like us
I watch Yellowstone three times. I recommend LONGMIRE to everybody at my work like 50 times a day because I work at a grocery store please season seven I’m begging😬🙏💙
Like the ending but they never really did finish off the oil field plot.
Love Longmire series .....🤍
For those who want a seventh season, realize that an overzealous fan pieced together some clips from season six and called it a season seven preview. It's fake! And the announcement that season seven would aire in November of 2021 was also fake.

I think the ending is great!!!
Just got through binge watching LONGMIRE and I LOVED IT.
Great show great intertaent for all !if you love westerns you'll love this ! Better than Yellow stone ! With Tim McGraw and Faith Jill ! Mutch better believe Abel actors and actresses !
More seasoned in their craft ! Can't wait for more even if Katy Longmire is sheriff ! But keep it Longmire and Henry Standing Bear ! They are Recipes that made this work ! And
Great Casino change to Have Henry Standing Bear In charge of Casino ! Been best ideas yet ! And the Lady Deputy and Longmire are meant to be together ! From the start !
Malachi's men were who they took on. Mathias and the tribal police helped taked down Malachi's men
Cady Longmire, as written in the series, was in no way fit to be a sheriff. She was weak, indecisive, useless in a fight, and displayed poor judgement too many times. Loved the series, hated her character. Horribly written.
Please read the longmire books.
An other show killed off by holly wood. Beyond the 1st couple seasons this show didn't follow the source material books and created a soap opera gen z crappie and then just ended abruptly after being cancelled. Just follow the damn source material Hollywood, it's not hard and the work has already been done for you
That smile at tge end was because he finally got a cell phone
There’s enough new source material to make some more seasons.
Giggity
I totally agree! Bring back Longmire with the new Kady Sherriff!!
ME AND MY HUSBAND BINGE WATCHED IT TWICE !🤔
Am I the only one that liked Walt less and less as the show went on
Episode five season two is a classic war profiteer move, the intro of Lizzy on the momentum of empowerment of a specific type that was identified and funded in thee US for improvement.
They were then illegally recruited into a military ring and then beaten, shown as thee mistreated female.
The mechanical child theft ring of a culturally relevant child, that was blocked by that older male with thee baby; however is a ring we see all too often. Preying upon a cultural relevant in the US, undermining the US. Stealing from US Americans and that is before the conversation that they undermined the project of improving, just tiny improvements, to a specific colony.
Typical Vanderbilt move on concept of war profiteering and thee theft of opportunity in the US. You didnt see the Dol and Paul combo, the two whom are banned from participating in younger secret games that intended to improve young individuals or repair people lost at liberty organized by there old monarchy at shape, which has their prints all over it.
This is typical, he says he intro Lizzy on concept of pronography and being dols type, which could be bell. I'm saying he is a reckless war profiteer.
The matter is the pronography was a refurb of a seriously wounded female whom was found both bodily mutilated and genital mutilated. It was to cover up the horrific sight of the photos and memories that exist.
He introduced Lizzy on the concept of theft of image of the wounded and this is typical. He acts as if he is smarter than everyone on controlling culture, which is viewed as dirty politics, bribes, and cultural hostageing.
His name is Henry Standing Bear, not Long Bear 😂🙄
Leaving out of course lil blondy staying at his cabin waiting for him.. ie why he has a cellie. YEah he is a new guy
I didn't like the way it ended at all.
Ha yea Vic sitting on the porch while Walt rides off to look for treasure after he just banged her. Walt’s like 20 years older then her.
Henry Standing Bear not Henry Long Bear. Come on.
Vic and standingmire love story was rushed
