I thought it was ridiculous until I saw him use it in SuperFriends, in which he flew it into a black hole, came out by Krypton in the past where he had no powers and flew into the sun, where the Mexican idle arms had to grab a canister of antimatter. Suddenly it makes sense. Besides, kryptonite was a plot point in nearly every episode.
This is the most illogical and unnecessary vehicle/toy for superman. Btw I thought this was for 4 inch super powers figures. The superman you have seems way bigger than 4 inches.
I've got one of those, and I own the matching figure of Superman who spends most of his time sat inside his car.
Oh he also always has his cape on.
I had the Corgi version as a kid... wish i'd picked up the original Super Powers version, but will pick up this one

I had the Corgi version. Which I had completely forgotten all about until I saw the shape of this toy, which triggered all those memory ingrams.

Have you looked at the Batwing yet? It’s really cool, but have had multiple reports of the cockpit breaking.
It would be nice is the arms were detachable, since in the SuperFriends cartoon, they completely retract when not in use.
The compartment is for his cape. Lol.
After watching reviews for this and the Kenner SuperMobile, this one is the better one that is screen accurate to the SuperFriends cartoon.
