Last season felt like a farewell tour for the 2010's era of NBA basketball, specially since a lot of the teams and players from that era started to show their age and definitely slowed down a bit. Now this season feels like the start of a new era for the next 10 years or so, with the guys in this video being the stars leading the way.
Nets fan here. Cam Thomas has always been gifted as a scorer, but was a huge defensive liability. Cam has improved and seems to be fitting in with the defensive schemes of the team, so it’s only up from here.
I rarely comment on the set decoration of YT content providers, but I feel I have some value to add here. It is all wrong. It is too busy and the light reflections are too distracting. If you added a strobe light, that would finish the look and probably set off some seizures (so don't do it...). Some advice from someone who considers himself a wonderful decorator (though, I never had a lesson) - take it, it is free: Add a fern on your right side and change the name of the channel name to Two Ferns and a Rusty Bucket. F@ck, I'm good at this...
@@dkarmusic5424 this has nothing to do with that, there are a lot of guys who can put up good numbers on bad teams, like Kuzma, Miles Bridges, TWolves Andrew Wiggins, LaVine, Vucevic, Kelly Oubre last year, John Collins, etc
Tyler Herro is literally the most slept on player in the NBA. People forget he’s just 23 and has arguably been the best player for the Heat this season.
Most productive doesn't mean best. If Herro is the best player on a team with Bam and Jimmy then the Heat could be the best team in the East. Playing great offense can't make you the best player on the team when the two other stars are excellent defenders as well as decent scorers.
@@dstreet4599 -- I'm sure they improved. I hope they improve. He had a lot of room for improvement. Bam and Jimmy have made All NBA teams. It is outrageous to say Herro is the best player on the team and the sample size is also too small. Herro got the deal he has because he had potential and he is reaching some of it now. He isn't the best player on the team and nor does he need the pressure of being the best. Smart veterans like Jimmy will let Herro shine and save his legs for later. Let Herro get the reps and take over when necessary. Let the young legs carry the team which is even less deep than it was last year.
Idk if this is a hot take or not, but if the Sixers manage to be a top 4 seed in the East, Nick Nurse should win COTY. Their offense is so much more fluid and changed drastically now that everyone gets touches and Doc and Harden are gone
When it comes to Scotties leap, it wasn't "people in Toronto" that lost confidence in him. That noise came from media and podcast out of the US. The Toronto market watches Scottie play all the time vs people out of the states that draw conclusion based on stats only.
Ik the dunking and athleticism are the eye popping attributes of Jalen Johnson, but he’s also a very good ball handler and passer for a guy his size. Unlike John Collin’s Jalen can also create his own shot.
Kelly just goes on hot streaks this one just happened to happen at the start of the season prepare for him to go back to normal I’ll bet my life savings on it
Devin Vassell. He's spent a lot of time injured and the spurs are still trying to figure out their roster (lots of players injured last year and lineups were all over the place). He will probably be the best player on the spurs this year and will be making multiple all star teams in his career, reminds me a bit of khris Middleton
I know that isn’t a breakout player and is a rookie, it’s just amazing to see this dude shoot. Jordan Hawkins on my team the Pels, is ridiculous impressive to me. Like the dude is such a bucket. For Breakout players, I feel like BI can hit that Superstardom, but idk. Tyrese seems like an obvious choice. Kat and Rudy G seems like an insane defensive duo this season. Rudy is first in defensive shares I believe and Kat is second. Dude if Kat continues like this while still doing his thing on offense? The Wolves finna be even more scary.
"Scottie has a bright future".... understatement. So he bullies centers on the inside, and now is shooting 42% from 3? Ya, he is going to be the best player in the league one day.
Scottie is so fucking good right now I want them to flip Siakam for the highest bidder whoever that might be. I want a Scroder-trent-OG-Scottie-Poeltl line up. Get Siakam on the bench and show me what those 6 assists turn into with another shooter out there.
I disagree with the Scottie take. Besides the trolls on twitter, I’d say most raptors fans didn’t give up on him after a slight down year after his rookie of the year campaign.
Anthony Edwards and the Timberwolves. Undefeated at home and ended both Denver and Bostons undefeated streaks. And took over in OT and punked Tautm on the way to the dub
Three reasons for why Scottie didn't take a step least year: 1. Nagging injuries 2. Fred VanVleet (bet on himself, not the team) 3. Nick Nurse's abysmal offense which didn't involve Scottie near enough.
As a raps fan, I'm so excited for the future of Scottie and the team, but also, it really annoys me how newer raps fans who came during the successful years, are so inpatient and quickly jump into conclusions about the team and its players. Like bro the 2019 team literally took like 7 years to build, be patient ffs, you don't know what living through primo pasta was like 😭
The new background set is 👌🏾if you're taking suggestions for the upper left corner that's vacant lol? D-rose or Kobe 🤷🏾♂️😅 also imo this collective breakout happens when there is a "shifting of the guard" which is currently happening imo
I’m a Detroit native living in Portland the last 10+ years and Duren and Sharpe are my guys. Funny how they were both seen as project players and now they are already two of the best on their respective teams in just their 2nd year.
It was weird seeing the Pistons’ decision to trade for James Wiseman, when they already have Jalen Duren and Beef Stu. Can any Pistons fan tell me whether it makes sense or not?
This season is definitely a transition period for the NBA, old stars get their final hurrah and new stars rise to their occasions

Jalen Johnson appreciation
LETS GO
How do you think my prediction for Sengun to be most improved is going?
Very very well

I’d have too add Tyler Herro, mark will,Cade,Dillion brooks surprisingly, and Jdub, banchero too this list as well even though he had a slow start
I see he went for one of Motown Noah’s setups
Forgetting RJ is ridiculous. Every time I give you a chance , you drop the ball 😭
