Totally agree with people being more unpredictable this season. It’s like the lockdowns got everybody to forget courtesy & spatial awareness of others. It’s crazy.

When you review a snowboard, it would be nice to know the boots and bindings you are using with it. Also, stance information would be appreciated.

honest question tho, who is he referring to that isnt riding the board? the only person i can think of that does reviews is board archive and hes riding all the boards and putting in clips.
@@zachvana1734 I’m not sure that he’s targeting any specific person. You may notice that a lot of board reviewers on UA-cam just regurgitate the specs and features while sitting in their house or shop, without providing any input from actual usage.

Somehow I got my hands on this 22 doa (early release) last February and rocked it for half a season. Great board.
Dude the new mic 🤩 crazy new level in audio. The play by play commentary along with the back and forth between you and the Ski Doc is awesome. Can’t wait to hear Benton micd up lol, I assume lots of grunts and yelling.

I love the flat in the middle boards they respond really well. I have flat in the middle and reverse camber on both ends from salamon 👌
got my first board this season and it's full flat like that. It's a nitro prime. I never seem to catch an edge, really smooth. Just posted a video with it
@@thereelaccountant9246 I just snagged myself a Ride Psychocandy and it has the same flat to rocker in the tips that the War Pig has. I was worried about it since the last two boards I rode were traditional camber tip to tip, but after giving it a rip I quickly learned the sidecut is so much more important to the way the snowboard holds edge than the camber profile. That thing RAILS turns very quickly. The flat profile allows it to be mellow and surfy and the sidecut allows it to carve perfectly and then almost sling you into another turn like camber does.
The lav mic really makes the production quality better!

Sometimes. It is still pretty early, that being said it has been really hot here.
Im on the hunt for a new board. Its not easy with how many different companies are around now. My board is a 2016 so its time to start looking. Im glad you did a review on the DOA. I respect your opinion a LOT🤘
I have the 2015 DOA - I love it. Hanging tough and I’m not sure when I’ll upgrade, but when & if I do it will likely be the Super DOA or Mercury.

I snagged the board from your link. I had order the 163W from another site and they emailed me today saying the shipment would be delayed until December 22. Best review of the board I've seen. My new board will be here on the 7th now

@@parker5323 Sunday River is awesome. I haven't been there in years though. My favorite was Sugarloaf. Started riding in 1988 and stopped for a really long time. Last season was my first season back since 1996. Just like riding a bike 😊 forgot how much I loved it.

Brother the DOA in camber to outside the insert packs and rocker in the tips.
im toying between the DOA or the Burton Custom and just cannot decide what's right for me. Next year will be my 3rd time on the mountains and want to have this order the burton with me. Does the DOA offer that little bit extra forgiveness for newbies like me or is it a case of they're all much of a muchness? im looking to keep the board for a few years.

I think you should maybe do a mixture of videos where you use the mic in some but not others. I really liked the vibe when you played sick music and it was just you ripping
Totally. The mics are new so I am learning how to use them but also its just one run so its hard to make a sick edit with music with our limitation.

I don't do park, I do what you were doing in this video, just regular hill riding, and I've been needing a new board for a while but not sure what to get. I love carving but also wanna learn to do butters and other fun things. Any recommendations?

I have a question
I have a 2012 Yes the greats snowboard in a really nice condition, is it outdated because of the age or does it still keep up with new snowboards (is it time to upgrade).
It depends on the comfortability and type of ride you like or are progressing towards. I have both a 2013 Ride DH2 and a 2022 capita DOA. They’re both amazing boards but with different purposes.

I want one but I don’t think me, being 130 lbs and 5’11, will be able to flex it enough for my style of riding :(
