- In this video going to upgrade 4 different hardware parts on this HP DC7900 Small form factor PC:
I am going to replace the Intel Core2Duo to a Quad Core CPU.
I am going to replace the old HDD to an SSD.
It has 2GB of RAM I am going to add another 4GB more in total there will be 6GB.
I am going to add a dedicated Graphics card the Nvidia GeForce GT 610 1GB.
And install Windows 10 with drivers and basic office and internet Apps.
i have too HP DC7900 i upgraded ram to 8GB DDR2 and HDD to SSD then i installed win 10 and is super fast like my new HP Elite Desk 800 G2

I have a problem with my HP Compaq DC 7900 case. It had a Core 2 Duo E8400 processor and I changed it to a Core 2 Quad Q9400. It does not open and it beeps twice and the light is red and the power is loud.
Who solved it?

I used a cheap one, all 2.5 inch ones will do.

Q6600 have 105w tdp isnt it too much for 240w psu?
Its locked at 2.4ghz only but if it was overclocked that would be a problem. and since now that it has a ssd the power consumption is lower.
