Red Skull: Welcome Thanos son of Alars Red Skull: Welcome Gamora daughter of Thanos Red Skull: Welcome Clint son of Edith Red Skull: Welcome Natasha daughter of Ivan Red Skull: Welcome Steve son of bitch stills alive
Thanos was not Gamora's biological father. he should of said her real father's name. Natasha didn't even know her fathers name, it would have made more sense to say the dude's name that Thanos murdered on her home planet.
And know that I have thought about it, how the hell did Captain America return this stone??? If if it has a price what did Red Skull pay to get it back???
@@francisocoruiz6569 Thanos was adoptive Father and raised Gamora. Since it's the soul stone, it makes sense that they use the father Gamora is most connected with.
@@headhusky5707 but as we know now, black widow never new Ivan and instead had an adoptive father figure, so why say her biological and not red guardian
I was curious about that too but I think the most likely answer is that once Nat and Clint saw that he was harmless, they just focused on their mission, obtaining the soul stone and not Red skull, who the directors said was a "different person" on Vormir.
Nat met both Zola and Red Skull, and they both greeted her by name and with a snippet of her past. Zola: "Romanov, Natalia Alianovna, born 1984." Red Skull: "Welcome, Natasha, daughter of Ivan."
@@BruceWayne-ne9mj, Red Skull is referring to her adoptive father Ivan Petrovich, a Russian chauffeur who in later retcons had ties to Department X, which trained her. Natasha is not related to Ivan Vanko.
@@carson11100, it was stuff from the comics. So far Ivan Petriovich hasn't been referenced in the other movies, so we don't know the full extent of their relationship. If it's not Petrovich, then who do you think it is? Because it's not Vanko. That would just be a lousy retcon. People only think Ivan Vanko because so far he's the only "Ivan" in the MCU.
that's cool and man if some made a animated scripted version of that scene that continue's forward if you delete a file in your pc that right there would be ground breaking .
There are a lot of uses for liebchen. Where I’m from most used it speaking to children. Like “Mein süßes liebechen” Which means my dear child ( if you were speaking to a child)
Clint and Natasha still see him as an enemy though. Yeah they eventually decided to hear him out despite their initial instincts being to defend themselves at the drop of a hat.
Red skull’s introductions doesn’t make any sense whatsoever. When Thanos and Gamora meet him he calls Gamora the daughter of Thanos, despite Thanos not being her biological father, and then when Red skull meets Nat he calls her the daughter of Ivan. Which is the name of her birth father whom she didn’t know anything about. And he also calls Clint the son of Edith, which is his mom and not his dad. Like, what are the rules for what parents he calls them by? It clearly isn’t just their birth parents because Thanos isn’t Gamora’s real father. It can’t be who they consider to be their parent because Gamora doesn’t even like Thanos and she seems to remember her mother, and we know Red skull does call people by their mother’s names as well. Also Nat didn’t even know her dad’s name and she does consider Melina and Alexei her parents in black widow, even though she knows she had a birth mother as well. I hope they clear it out but I really doubt they will sense they’re pretty much done with the infinity stones now.
okay... i think there is a plothole in here, we all know that thanos is not the real father of gamora, but still redskull said "gamora daughter of thanos"... which means red skull is talking not about being a biological father but the one who become a father to gamora, which is thanos.... SOOOO if that's the case... why did thanos said the name of natasha's real father if even natasha is not aware in anything about her father?
I mean I don’t think he’s bound by a rule that he has to say their parents’ names, he probably just knows things cause of whatever connection he has to the soul stone and does it.
Thanos raised Gamora and made her into who she is. Clint's father was abusive. So his mother is the most important parent. Natasha didn't have any real parent figures so Skull named her biological father.
@@sillystarshine22 He also said "Gamora daughter of Thanos" though, and he was definitely abusive and not even her real father. So I don't think that's it.
Okay in 2018's Infinity War, Thanos got the Soul Stone in Vormir. However, in 2023's Endgame, Natasha and Clint travelled to 2014, which is 4 years BEFORE Thanos ever got the Soul Stone. After Hulk's Counter-Snap/Blip, Rogers returned the Soul Stone to 2014 Vormir. After Iron Man's Ultimate Snap, even if Rogers returned both the Power and Soul Stones in 2014, the 2014 timeline was pretty much messed up, since Gamora and Nebula never got on Ronan's ship in the 1st Guardians of the Galaxy movie, and Ronan never had the Power Stone. And that timeline's Thanos and his army were summoned to 2023, leading to them eventually dying after Iron Man's Ultimate Snap. This would result that the messed up 2014 timeline had the Snap NEVER HAPPEN.
Now that Sam Wilson is Captain America II I hope he understands that he will face the Red Skull once he returns to Earth. He will seek his revenge on Steve Rogers and Peggy Carter-Rogers and will be coming for Sam Wilson. But now that the Skull has powers theirs no telling how powerful he'll be.
I think it's a reference to Ivan Petrovich Bezukhov, but he wasn't her birth father. He raised Natasha and was the one who got her into the Black Widow Ops and the Red Room facility. I think he resurfaced later as a cyborg, but I doubt that will come up in the BLACK WIDOW movie.

While there are any number of Ivan so-and-so’s associated with Natasha in the comics, there’s also another character who goes by that name, who has a connection to the events about to unfold in the MCU: Ivan Druig is the alias that Druig, an Eternal (who will be played by Barry Keoghan in The Eternals), takes when he impersonates a sadistic Russian KGB officer and the leader of a small Soviet state named Vorozheika. That makes her a demigod - similar to how Peter Quill was revealed to be the son of a living planet. they might have an interest in resurrecting Natasha maybe even giving her new powers in the process. Natasha could hold her own in the next phase of the MCU, while her film would have a major tie-in to The Eternals that would help to get audiences excited for that film.
